This song is about the westernization of Japan, which happened during the Meiji Restoration. Despite having an upbeat, oriental track, the song contains rather dark themes, mentioning guillotines and ICBMs. In addition, the lyrics state things such as "Songs of lament go unheard" and "This is a banquet inside a steel jail cell". WGB constantly puts together big shows, One of Japan's most popular bands at the moment. Great pure reaction to totally new music horizon!! Whatever song you choose, I can say one thing about Wagakki band. Any live version is much better and more fun than studio version! There are so many comparably recommendable songs. If you like this festive vibe, I recommend Hakushu Kasai. If you like to examine western and Japanese performance separately, I recommend consecutive two songs of Chieno Kajitsu + Somosan Seppa. In Somosan Seppa, we see the Shamisen (3 string no fret guitar) fast play has been “Metal” for this hundred years, LoLo. I also respect other commenters’ recommendations!
