The reason why this music video "IDOL" has so many views is that many people are deeply shocked and moved when they see the official music video after watching the first episode of the anime "Oshi no ko". If you watch the official music video after watching the first episode, you will understand why the music is structured this way, why the visuals are designed this way, and why the lyrics are the way they are. You will be shocked and moved and have a completely different reaction. We are looking forward to seeing your reactions to the official MV after watching episode 1 of the anime. There is also an official English version sung by himself. The incredible aspect of this seemingly unnatural English translation is that it not only aligns with the sounds of the Japanese language but also with the meaning of the story. Furthermore, after listening to the Japanese version several times, when you listen to the English version, there are parts where it sounds like Japanese despite being in English. Yoasobi played this song on every date of their sold-out Arena Tour as very last song (encore).
They will perform in Pasadena, California in August. In November they will share stage with bands like Bring Me the Horizon and I Prevail and will open up for Coldplay at Tokyo Dome for both shows the same month.
And Babymetal, Hanabie and Maximum the Hormone. If you haven't seen Hanabie they're awesome.

7:11 I think the best part of the crowd doing those "HEY!" shouts is that it's in the studio version, but they just used the audience instead of the backing track for it, so now these people all technically get to be PART OF THE PERFORMANCE.

And as you have mentioned Demon Slayer, LISA is the singer of the opening, she is fantastic and one of the best. I would highly recommend to watch her First Take Performance of Gurenge and one of her other songs Homura. You won´t be disappointed.

I’m guessing due to the fact it was a 21 minute video already, but I’m a little sad you didn’t get to react to the Oshi no Ko Music Video they made it would have been fun to see to theorize based on what you saw since it’s basically the first introduction most people have into the anime and since they made it into a music video instead of the video they use in the OP it’s not really spoiler heavy especially if you’d listened to the Japanese as the lyrics are what kind of are more on the spoiler side. Great reaction and analysis though for the live version they’re truly impressive!

There are a lot out there. Tower of God is a Korean anime and has korean band doing intro and outro Stray Kids actually. Hope u can check those out. Bleach and Naruto have great songs too. Yeah the song is cheerful but part of it the tone got strange that after reading the manga or watch the show, more context give the song a whole new meaning, sad and disturbing.
ホントに空気読めない止めかた。外国のアーティストが「日本人はちゃんと聴いてくれる」という意味が良くわかりました。

Japanese singlers can't sing as lips performance because that's a law to prevent the lips performance on live. Only lips performance allows in MV recording. All is the real vocal.
The screen is similar to a Taiwanese band - MAYDAY. They always use the screen to perform.
