I don’t ever comment on your videos because I literally don’t know hardly anything about comics. I managed to land a hulk 181 last year through statue trades. I’ve been watching your channel for 6mos or so now. This is one of the best comic book videos I’ve seen. (Even when compared to other comic channels) I have very large 1:4 scale statue collection and I’m mainly looking for great comics to pair with my statues. I would love to see an entire series like this!

I love this idea. Your knowledge and insight makes this something I wanna see a lot of. And I'm sure you as a fan have fun ranking these. I want to see you do a Batman list. You can't do golden age stuff so if assume silver and up. But there are so many keys want to see what you include and in what order. This looks so fun to me. Did you have fun doing this, as I would? Also do a hulk one.
If you are collecting Wolverine, I would highly suggest picking put the entire series of Marvel Comics presents as they have SO many beautiful Covers and important points in The Characters Life Story.

I'd love to see this same video with lesser known characters. Still popular (get them views) but not as big (most collectors know the wolverine keys). My vote would be a Superman tiered list. Still popular but you have so many more options extending back to the 30s. There's probably loads of issues I don't know about.
Nice list! Personally I think Wolverine 88 is a better book for the F tier then maybe one of the variants. Not a huge variant guy but a huge Wolverine fan. Have most of them except for the S & A. Still hunting for the deal I want on the 94. Maybe 2023 goals the finish those books. Nice list against delve this idea could be cool to do other characters or even artist / creators

I'm surprised you didn't have the John Tyler Christopher variant. It's holding value pretty well. But it is fairly new. It's my favorite Wolverine cover. I'm working on a Hulk 180 next. Didn't see one on your site. Thanks for the update.
My favorite wolverine cover....or easily in my top 3 is the Wolverine 310 Platt variant. Low Print, rare Platt cover. And probably my fav Platt cover as well.
Great video wanted your opinion of something. When I close my eyes and think of Wolverine the first things that come to mind were all covered except the 1st brown and tan suit (Uncannily X-men 139), 1st old man (Wolverine 66), and although a lesser book value wise it could be one of the bigger percentage gainer in 5+ year the 1st black leather (New X-men 114) what are your thoughts on the future of these books?

Nice review Dave. I like the the tiers and the fact that you included Foom #2. I'd like to get that book for Steranko's Hulk cover alone so that I can put it next to my King Size Special Hulk #1 and 9.4 Captain America #110. After reading Andy Olsen's interview and looking at the drawings I'm persuaded to believe that someone at Marvel used the kid's concept to create what we know today as Logan. HMU if you want to do one of these for M.O.D.O.K. JK. It's too bad that Marvel Team-Up #117 isn't a better cover. Bob Layton's a good artist but it looks like MC Escher did the cover wasted. Hey you didn't include Captain America Annual #8 in your list. That should have made the cut. That is Mike Zeck at his best. They swiped that cover for NCAA college football playoff Clemson v Oklahoma. Good stuff. Thanks.

Dave , Woukd say variants have a higher likelihood of losing value compared to just a cover A? I know there some fan base o es like j Scott Campbell but overall it seems as though variants are not the books to collect for investment purposes. Yijr thougnts are greatly appreciated ty
Wolverine 1 chase variant at C?????? That book is by far the best variant ever. Ever. No question. It started out crazy high. A 9.8 might hit close to $10K.
I enjoyed this BUT, I wonder if I liked it because I have about 11/12 of the books on this list. Do about three more list like this so that I can properly asses my feelings towards this list.
Good video, just as a warning, FOOM #2 art contest is not connected to the Wolverine character at all, it's more of a scam to try to link those up to keep the price high. I have the issue, used to have a sub., it's fine as a curiosity, but only if you get it cheap. You have been warned.
Can’t argue with 181 though. Lots of 9+ are too high now. Only 9.4 or higher are worth that kind of money. There are lots & lots & lots of these though. No even remotely scarce
