    My man! So glad you included Micronauts #1. Michael Golden's run was awesome. The concept of body banks and Baron Karza is excellent. 1st appearances of at least 9 characters including Acroyer, Bug, Baron Karza and Time Traveler/Enigma Force. It's 44 years old but you can get a white pages perfectly centered CGC 9.6 for under a $100. Yes there are a ton of copies but for $100 it has such a high ceiling. Think Marvel Super Heroes #18 before August 2014. Great list of books. Tik! Tik!

    Good data. I wondered if you were going to be able to do this $100 list to invest. Loved it. Of course you would grade the stuff coming in for your auctions. Good insight and there’s an endless list that you can do. Pre- golden, golden age, silver, bronze, copper, modern, underground, etc. You have experience and business sense. It’s a good value to listen to. Because the data I get is from LCS and online. Some true collectors keep it close to the vest because they don’t want competition. Next time you go to the ER with your dog, start crying and then they’ll take care of your dog fast first. Take care.

    I can tell you right now good luck getting Marvel Spotlight #28 at 100 bucks for an 8.0. It's taking off as we speak. I just got a slabbed 9.2 for $225 and it was the best price I've seen BY FAR for this grade. In fact, there are quite a few books on this list that are blowing up. Pretty comprehensive list this guy put out. He knows his stuff.

    I've always wondered if it's a good investment to buy the first issues of various titles when they switched to using the Vertigo imprint. I've also recently discovered people are starting to notice the Whitman books. Back in the 1970-80's my local comic shops wouldn't buy the Whitman books because they considered them to be reprints. Even though the truth was they were printed at the same time as the regular DC titles.

  • @Thegravy251
    @Thegravy251 Год назад

    I guess the whole twist on this list is if the book cost under $100, and the list is based on a cgc graded book (because that's where the grading info is coming from), then you get a free slab, because the majority of the cost is in the slab and not the book. Xmen 282 for example, if it's a $49 book and direct edition, that thing better be slabbed, and it cost approx $50 to do that.

I'm sure you get your prices like every other person and place does but it sounds like your pricing these covers at either the last price u saw posted somewhere trustee that you saw listed sold and/or cherrypicked the most recent sold price listed that you simply agreed with.. or I'm just waaaay off and misunderstanding but no said price sound slabbed though. Maybe 2 or 3 sure but I'm looking up these titles on the bay and just from my own collection and your vids more raw diggidog covers rather than slabbed & tagged prices.

      the prices I get are for actual SOLD listings through either ebay or another comic website. They could be either a BIN or a auction sold price. Also they are for graded comic, not ungraded/raw. There is a website I use called GPAnalsys that catalogs all sold listings. Alot of times you'll look on ebay and someone will price their comic really high and it wont sell, so this is based of comic that have actually sold

    Absolutely zero chance you will find an ASM 361 for $100 cased at a 9.6. That sale had to have been a fluke or some close friends or something. That book starts at $120 raw in a 9.4-9.6

    Are all of these books under $100?

    Have to say watching these prices made me a little sad. A lot of these books are in my collection and knowing where they were 2 years ago is rough.

      On your phone: Look up a book you're interested in. Look above the first book listed and click on "Filter". Then scroll down to "Show more" and click. Scroll down to "Sold items" and click. A screen will come up with all sold and when. The price is in green.

    I’d rather get one overprinted modern book on the list at 9.8 than 10 of the others at non 9.8s. I fully understand the point of the list but none of those moderns that aren’t 9.8 are worthless. NM 87 9.0? C’mon.

      Nm 87 isn’t modern. It’s copper age. And it comes down to demand. Cable is in lots of demand which leads to believe in 10 years he will still be in demand. A 9.0 has over doubled in price in 10 years. I would expect something similar in the next 10 years.

    This is more of a lesson to NOT put your keys in auctions

      Well sometimes auction can result in higher prices than you think. But there is also higher risk too
