How to spot fake Converse shoes
Original Converse shoes come in a box, if this box is missing, then you are facing a fake Converse.
The price of Converse originals is 80-90 euros, the price of fakes are between 20-40 euros.
Carefully inspect the inner label, the original one must be made in Vietnam, the faakes can be made in China or made in India.
There is a red band in front of the shoe, at the original conversion the space between this band and the end of the shoe (top) is bigger, compared to the fake one which is smaller (see in the video).
Another safety element is the top band that has triangles, compared to the fake one that has vertical stripes. Carefully inspect the end of the tip, it must be clean, without cuts or extra material (see video).
The triangle of white threads under the lace staples, in the original must be smaller, compared to the fake one which is bigger .... see in the video.
The white back stripe above the company logo should be thinner and taller than the fake one which is thicker and smaller ... see in the video.
The front of the convert has a lace-up bag in the middle, the original is higher, thinner and has a different seam at the base (see video), compared to the fake one which is thicker and has a different end seam.
The sole of the original Chuck Taylor All Star Conversion has 5 points at the bottom, compared to the fake one which has only 4 points .... see in the video.

You're wrong about the "the original one must be made in Vietnam" part. Nike (the owner of Converse) has a road map of their factories around the world and you can filter Converse factories. There's a few in China.

EL FAKE dice que es hecho en CHINA y sus fabricas se representan con el número 7 y la la letra ya depende de que fabrica sea; pero en cambio en la etiqueta está el número 8, QUE NO REPRESENTA A NINGUN PAIS. Asi que es FAKE, si le hechas buen ojo se reconocen facilmente a los falsos y a los originales

Well I learned alot and I do see the difference. Just bought an almost brand new pair maybe worn once from a thrift store for 10.00 today and according to this video, they're are totally original. They're made in Vietnam and every detail you showed matched up. Thanks alot I got a great deal today. They're cool they have colorful metallic flames on white. My daughter loves them and they're very comfortable.
In Viet Nam, things are very cheap to foreigners! So of course you would get a great deal :)

My original converse are from made in China I bought they from the official converse online shop.
They are original. Converse is manufacturing in many countries!
It is almost impossible to spot a fake Converse
I think its not fake but with different standards coz they have this class A and Class D perse, i heard that every factory of shoes or bag had different qualities depends on the country it manufactured by they are all licensed by the main company.
Converse are manufactured from China, Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia. Anything out of these choices are questionable. Mine are made in vietnam but last week I bought 70s made in china. I'd say china makes them better in terms of quality. But maybe that's just me.

People keep talking about the star inside of the o in the word Converse. What they're not telling you is that before 2018, Converse did actually put a star inside the o in the word Converse both inside the shoe on the sole, and on the back soul patch.
Ya know sometimes I wonder if some of these fake vs real aren't made by the same people or company. Just another way to try and make a buck. Just a thought.
honestly its really hard to tell which ones are fake and original specially from a distance coz in reality no one in the right mind would actually drop to the floor and take a closer look at what you are wearing... however it all boils down to how durable and long the pairs would last... and fakes ones dont usually last that long given how they were made.. i know coz i own both an original and a fake one
Spot on. Usually fakes that look exactly the same people didnt even notice except for the user itself, as fake usually not comfortable as the real one in my experience

I have two 90's converse still made in USA. And i think the 80-90's is still the best
Actually they still have some factory running in China and some other factory around South East Asia. So the fact that the shoes only made in Viet Nam is not valid. But this video is pretty good because it's show you guys the pattern of the real one look like.

Algunos acabados son hasta mejores en la copia, la realidad es que los zapatos hoy de la marca que sea no son lo mismo que hace 15 Años, yo tengo dos pares de converse originales y el nuevo parece de juguete se ve que no dura 5 años de uso
Yo los uso para entrenar pesas y duran 1 año y empiezan a desgastar muy rapido.
Mine are made in Vietnam but I feel Chinese can be also an original deal, Maybe the quality differentiates as per the countries they are made in.

I found a pair of the original Chuck Taylor hightop converse made in Vietnam and everything your showing for the real one are spot on for these but mine have the black stripes going around the sole of the shoe plus the stamp on the side that says (off-white for converse "CHUCK TAYLOR ALL STAR" Malden, Massachusetts USA c. 1917......what are they valued at cause these are in very good condition but also lightly worn!!?
Well do a test wear one of each and see what wares out faster the real shoe on the left foot or the fake on the right foot.
i think the japan market is the easiest to find it legit, never heard of fake japan market converse before, the shoes made in china & indonesia also the tag i see is different than the global market tagging

Did you know some of the converse shoes were rejected because of the quality and after rejected some of the shoes were being pull out in the factory and some people gonna take it or buy it and they will gonna sell it in cheaper price

Do Converse put the size # on the bottom of all their sneakers? Bc I just got a used pair of Ebay that doesn’t, but I’ve notice many of the Converse on eBay don’t. I’m wondering if they have stopped stamping the numbers or if that’s a clue on the fakes. Bc this pair I got have very flimsy rubber soles and easy to bend.

I have a pair of denim ones that don't and they're legit. Got a new pair I'm sure is fake, from ebay, that isn't stamped.
From the video it seems like the fake one has inferior material rubber but superior in finishing. So many defect in that original one.

Since those factories have got such ability and techniques to make shoes to such quality and in a condition to this extent , they really should make their own brand and go with their original design, instead of doing fake things and then having been got despised. Just personal thought ^^

I am from Philippines and there are many factories here manufacturing different shoe brands, and the crazy thing about it is that some are labeled made in USA 😆to sell it at higher price, but surely it is an original branded shoes, most people think that if it is made in China, then it is fake; little do they know that there are businesses changing made in china to made in "other different countries" once the quality is very good. So that they can sell it at higher price. It is like, some manufacturers that labeled their products made in china with bad reputation of making low quality products affected all that is"made in China". Anyway, I am not Chinese and my opinion why China is so good in what some says "faking" products rooted from the history because they were the first to introduce printing and they were and still the number 1 producers of printing and fabric or textile producers in the world.
