I mix Himalayan pink Salt with baking soda for toothpaste. I also use a water flosser with occasional hydrogen peroxide. When I used normal toothpaste, I always had plaque and tartar. My teeth have never been so clean since I started using baking soda and salt.. 2 years now. My oral hygienist said keep up the good work.
Baking soda and salt make a great facial scrub..no toxins, no micro plastics, and so cheap.

My grandmother was born in 1889. She was a nurse doing the Spanish Flu in 1918 and told us so many stories that happened then. Her family would cook soup and take it to neighbors that had gotten the flu, leaving the jars at the front door and taking previous jars back to wash and refill the next day. As they noticed the jars of food was not eaten they'd know the family was too sick or died, then they'd go inside and remove the bodies.
One thing my grandmother told me was that her grandmother would give all the family a teaspoon of baking soda three times a day. None of them in the family got the flu. Did it help or were they resistant?? I don't know.

I have tried it on the days I felt icky about 2-3 times a month and i have not gotten sick this whole pandemic. I'm not entirely sure it's the baking soda because I also do a colloidal silver nose spray every morning and an oregano nose spray some evenings, I also take a lot of d3 and quercetin and NAC. Baking soda is, or was, a big thing in the west coast/western isles of Scotland too.
I remember many years ago a neighbour telling me a small amount about the flu. He was very young and had to keep the fire going and water brought in and 'clean up'. He just said it was "terrible". I think those of us who heard such stories were a bit more careful during this pandemic.

Dr Berg has talked about vinegar, lemons, and baking soda. These are all very good things to know about. Using my knowledge of them from Dr. Berg, I now have stopped getting cavities, for the last 18 months.
    1. Mix 4 parts Spring water with 1 part apple cider vinegar and lemon juice. This should result in about 1% acidity. I also have some sodium bicarbonate in water, concentration not critical
    2. After a meal, take 1/2 to 1 ounce of the acid solution. Then do a power mouth wash, by forming a bolus of the acids and moving the bolus around so that all teeth are bathed in the acids under pressure to reach into gum line and into crevicies in the teeth and crowns.
    3. When done, consume the acids to aid in digestion (Berg).
    4. Rinse mouth with spring water to remove most of the acids.
    5. Rinse mouth with sodium bicarbonate solution to titrate the remaining acid. This stops acid erosion of enamel. Expel the sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) wash water.
The result is that the plaque, which the bacteria must hide in to survive, is dissolved and washed away, and I have stopped having cavities for 18 months. Thank you Dr. Berg

Number 8: One teaspoon of baking soda can reduce a headache by stimulating hemoglobin to release oxygen into the bloodstream.
Number 9: One to Two Tablespoons of baking soda may be used as a laxative by stimulating the intestines to extract water from the body which can help push everything out. Just be aware that you must replenish your liquids and you may be back and forth on the toilet for up to 2 hours.
Number 10: One tablespoon of baking soda may be used to have more endurance in the gym or while running. The body creates sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) as a buffer for lactic acid. Marathon runners can have up to a 10% increase in endurance during a race, and this is actually called soda doping! Just note that the amount for a gym session and the amount for a marathon will be different and that I wrote this after number 9 because this will still cause a laxative effect in the body.

Baking soda can also be used as a natural meat tenderizer. I just used it yesterday for pork chops. Make a thick slurry and spread it on both sides of your cut of meat and let set in the refrigerator 15 - 30 minutes. Wash the baking soda slurry off well and pat dry. Use meat as per usual. Meat is so tender! The baking soda raises the pH on the meat's surface, making it more difficult for the proteins to bond excessively, which keeps the meat tender and moist when it's cooked.

For our family, the most important thing baking soda did was postponed my mother's kidney failure for over 7 years now! I read somewhere that in Europe they would have dialysis patients, or patients with kidney failure, take a quarter teaspoon once or twice a day with some warm water. I know that the doctors thought Mom would need dialysis within a few months, and she has somewhat even improved over all of these years. I suggest you read some kidney medical excerpts. The added bonus is we can sip on it whenever we had spicy food to combat any heartburn. I love it for a natural deodorant, however I am very careful to only use pea-sized amount with a little water on delicate armpits, or else it will burn. To combat the burn, you can rub a good natural deodorant on your armpits afterwards to soothe and dilute the baking soda.

I have used baking soda for the sores in the inside of the mouth before. Works very very fast. One other use is for gout. Lots of home remedies for gout and I have tried them all. Eating about 15+ cherries works fairly well, but NOTHING works like baking soda in some water. It tastes bad but not unmanageable. If you add powdered flavor such as from Truelemon (doesnt use sugar, uses stevia) it will actually taste carbonated like it's a fruit flavored soda. But it works fantastic for gout. It goes back to the alkalination of the body. Gout is excess uric acid crystallization.
I also have a hunch that also due to this same process of changing the body to be more alkaline, I'd bet you'd get reduced fatigue during weight training due to the process of lactic acid buildup, further enhancing your stamina. I have been adding it to my pre-workout and I believe I see a difference.

Here is one for you folks. As kids we played outside and got bit and stung from fire ants , wasps ,bees you name it. We surfed and were stung by Man O Wars and jelly fish. The most intense pain for me was not from a scorpion but from an asp. So we learned how to deal with all this before we turned 14 years old. Land based [ fire ant , bees etc.] stings . Remedy is tooth paste. Any brand. Just put a dab on the sting and the pain, redness and swelling goes away instantly. For the aquatic [ jelly fish etc.] sprinkle a little MSG , meat tenderizer on the affected area. The pain will be gone along with any swelling in under 5 seconds. As for the asp. I climbed back up the Oak tree the next day to see what stung me. I didn't know what it was then. It was squashed and dead. When I grabbed the branch it had got me so bad I let go of the branch and hit the ground the day before. These things are smaller than your little toe. I still have a KNOT on the palm of my right hand 60 years later from that little devil. Cheers to Mr Berg and his show.

Hey Dr. Berg, can you do a video on excessive sweating of the feet? I can’t go for a 10 minute walk around the block without my socks getting damp. This in turn makes the inside of my sneakers damp over time and before long the shoes give off a rancid odor. I can buy a new shoe and within 3 months the shoe smells like garbage. I have to keep buying new shoes which is expensive, so I’d really appreciate your advice on how to stop my feet from sweating so heavily. I don’t experience heavy sweating anywhere else in my body unless of course I am exercising. I’ve seen a lot of conflicting advice from other RUclips ppl and other articles on what to do, what to take, what type of socks to use, etc so it’s got me feeling confused and uncertain about how to address this annoying issue

I can't tell you how to prevent your feet from sweating, but I can share something about shoes. While shoes (to me) seem much more expensive than they need to be, I ran across information that three pair of shoes - if you rotate their use - will last longer than five pair of shoes purchased separately and replaced when needed. This is due to the need to dry out over a two day period. This, no doubt, could also help reduce fungal infections of feet, toes, and toenails. Putting something in the shoes to absorb moisture (and odors) would help, too. (I've put baking soda in socks and tie them off to put inside the shoes when not in use.)

    • @nilsanieves3457
      @nilsanieves3457 Год назад

Fill a spray bottle with hydrogen peroxide and spray it inside your shoes. The bad odor will disappear almost instantly. Same for socks.
Rinse your mouth with hydrogen peroxide and water (50/50) every night and you will get rid of the bad breath also, everyone around you will be grateful 😂. I wish more people would know this.

He answered this in videos on noisy digestion. You could change the start of the fasting so that the point of 14 hours start when you are in a more comfortable situation.
It won’t go away unless you increase your fasting time and for a few days. It could be faster if you could learn to fast a whole weekend for example. But he made videos on how to fast correctly which are important.

(Same could happen with betonite clay, charcoal... Abrasive. But again.. depends on the thickness of the enamel of each individual.. although l wouldn't play with that)

I bought a tooth powder with baking soda in it already. So trusting it's good for my teeth. I don't use much and my teeth seem okay. I used to have tartar and it went away. I give credit to diet over brushing. My tonsils have also gotten smaller. I really can't wait to see the dentist as she is skeptical about Keto.

@@marleeamato4944 Yep. As a RDH mouthwashing with bi carb is fine but there's a lot of people who are going to have cervical abrasion that possibly weren't if they hadn't seen this video 😑. Not impressed.

      @@ed.5060 Yes I will!…
for one week wipe your underarms with rubbing alcohol, for females (Do Not Shave when applying alcohol) and rub a little baking soda after applying the alcohol and baking soda for one week, Stop the alcohol and use baking soda only! and if Bacteria forms again under your arms after six months or a year or whenever, just do the alcohol and baking soda treatment again.. I usually don’t have to do that just baking soda works for me! My husband did it and it works for him!

Been a fan of doc since half and a year ago. Took most health advice in here except fasting! Now, mid January, i started to take it seriously and as of typing this(feb 10), I now weigh 82.3kg from 88.7kg. My goal is 60kg so it needs some working to get there but it sure does work like magic!
