Great tips Ry, I have my wedding in 100 days and need to get serious. Been eating too many vegan treats lately 😢
Well done. Even though my meals look *very* different, it is essentially what I have done to lose over 60 kg (130 pounds) and what I continue to do to keep them off.
Great to hear of your success, well done!
@@fitwithryanadamsThank you! Keep up the good work.
well done I find it so hard to stick to anything food is soooo fun and makes me bond with loved ones daily.. tips?? have a lovely day.. Joyce
@@jontim7667 In my case, simplifying everything to basics and the bare minimum, ingredient-wise, work-wise, energy-wise. I stopped consuming anything that is high energy, with the exception of soybeas, other beans and lentils and those are carefully measured to keep them under control. When other people lament, I just say "this is what I must do" and that's the end of it. Delicious recipes are my enemies, on many levels. For me, food does not have to taste good, but it should not taste bad either because no one wants to eat disgusting food. That would be a guarantee of failure. I also eat a plant-only diet.
Youve lost the equivalent of an average sized man! Nice work
You can get frozen riced cauliflower (just frozen cauliflower basically but shredded up) from the store and I add it to my oatmeal to bulk it up, along with frozen blueberries. You can get fuller for barely any additional calories and you can’t really taste it.
Great suggestion
I’ve struggled with losing weight for almost 10 years.
I love your style and your advice.
I’m going to try this.
Thank you!
Why though? What is your best assessment ?
Happy New Year Ryan! I noticed you changed the name of your channel, good choice! Fit Vegan is also good. Thank you for your videos
thank you, happy new year!
That's a fantastic video. I want to keep watching it over and over again! Plant-based diet!😃😃
thank you
Excellent video, thank you!
Pleasure
Never heard it explained so simply with so much detail! Thank you so much 🎉
great to hear, thank you
I needed to see this today. Ty. Happy new year x
Glad it was useful, thank you
Discovered your channel not too long ago but I've come to really enjoy it. Aiming to have a more plant-based diet in 2024
Thank you, appreciate that very much
I love your channel!
I had a big knee surgery a month ago and I would like to go plant-based. Is it possible to get enough protein and calsium on plant based diet?
me to I am reading dr greger and want to eat healthy but it is hard and not much fun.. good luck.
@@TanjuaNOhio thank you, yes, easily
Great valuable information. Thank you😊
thank you
I like everything you said except the information about oil. Organic cold pressed EVOO is not processed more than once and is not heat processed.
that's pretty niche as an oil product though and I'm not sure that one exception is evidence against the point. Though I would argue that extra virgin olive oil being low in saturated fats would make it preferable vs other oils
Hey Ryan, do you plan on releasing a cookbook?
Yes, soon
On your one meal out during the week is it still plant based or you have any meat/dairy?
I’m vegan so no animal products but still might not be perfectly “clean” meal
i love how confident & handsome you are 😂
thank you
What are your thoughts though on Flaxseed Oil?
What do you mean by thoughts?
@@fitwithryanadams Do you think flaxseed oil is worth consuming due to its health benefits (anti cancer, weight reducing, anti inflammatory, stabilizing blood sugar, lowers bile in the liver, reduces blood pressure, lowers cholesterol and high in omega 3’s for brain health)? Or in your opinion should that oil be cut out as well?
Yes correct, ideally eliminated and just eat flax seed
How many calories should I be eating at each meal and snacks? I am a female 5’10”.
What is your goal? What’s your activity level like?
@@fitwithryanadams I would like to lose 30 lbs. Activity level none 🤦♀️.
Are you saying that you would eat no more than two servings of beans and tofu, lentils all together each day? Thank you.
No, I'm saying whatever I said in the video, which (without rewatching) I believe was "at least 2 servings"
@@fitwithryanadams "I'm having 1 to 2 servings of these daily" I had the same question since I was taking notes.
@@cristinareiser5447 thank you for clarifying, in which case, yes I do not consider 2 servings a limit no. You can certainly do more if you desire.
How long will it take to loose 15 pounds?
Too many variables, and without me knowing much about you, I can't advise. Best not to feel entitled to a timeline and just get to work, frankly :)
