The people who dis on Dodge just don't know how to drive one. They expect engineers to make cars that practically drive themselves. Definitely not for casual drivers. If you want a casual driving car don't buy an American muscle car.

There's a reason why the entire 'race on Sunday, sell on Monday' shtick was touted by the vast majority of American manufacturers during the 60's and 70's.
On top of that, the entire body-in-white, COPO and F/X programs they had. Outside of the GT40, Daytona Coupé and Corvettes, they tended to not really give a shit about handling.

You're correct Jeep. I've taken multiple courses at the Bondurant school in Arizona, in narrow and widebody Challenger Hellcat 6-speeds. They handle well enough that most people will never get to the limit. And they don't break while being beaten mercilessly for months on end. That Aston would explode on the first track day of six hours. Hellcats do 8,000 to 10,000 miles before being sent back to Dodge - running perfectly well. I bought a Hellcat after learning that they can take that kind of punishment. Five years later and it has needed nothing - except gasoline.
