  • @greggburke7796
    @greggburke7796 Год назад +3

    Obviously the Aston Martin is a superior car, but Americans build the best bang for the buck cars in the world. You can get a mid engine 2023 Corvette that does 0-60 in just 2.6 seconds and on through the quarter mile in 10.6 seconds with a top speed of 195MPH. Europe cannot come close to doing that at the price point, as the Z06 Vette is only 80k US, which is only 65k pounds or 74,600 Euros. You could buy about 4 or 5 Z06 Corvettes for the price of 1 2023 Aston Martin DBS. (depending on how you option it out). The DBS coupe goes 0-60 in 3.2 seconds and top out at 211 MPH. It's also worth noting how much cheaper the American cars are to work on. For example, the Aston Martin uses ceramic brakes. You can replace the Corvette brake pads for $300 per axel including labor. That's a $600 job, and it cost between 15 and 20k to do the carbon ceramic brakes on the Aston Martin.

      The people who dis on Dodge just don't know how to drive one. They expect engineers to make cars that practically drive themselves. Definitely not for casual drivers. If you want a casual driving car don't buy an American muscle car.

They handle well enough that most people will never get to the limit. And they don't break while being beaten mercilessly for months on end. That Aston would explode on the first track day of six hours. Hellcats do 8,000 to 10,000 miles before being sent back to Dodge - running perfectly well. I bought a Hellcat after learning that they can take that kind of punishment. Five years later and it has needed nothing - except gasoline.
