Ah I'm also about to move at the end of the month with about 100 plants and I keep slightly freaking out wondering how I'm going to achieve it! Good luck and I hope all your plants do well on the journey and I look forward to seeing your next vid x
Yay the move! Just in time. Our home inspection is next week and then we set a closing date. I am so excited. Trying to get all my propagations in soil even if its just a 2" pot & repot everything I missed over summer. So much to do. Since we are only moving 2 counties over I am going to try to move most of the plants in the vehicles. There are a couple that are just too big. I will be awaiting the next installment to see what I can learn from you. By now you are probably all settled, but I hope its gone well. Hun I would cut that Jade back to the pot and fill jars with the cuttings. When rooted you put the old plant in the middle and surround with newly rooted cuttings. I recommend a hanging basket. My Jade and Golden were acquired when I was a teen about 40 years ago. After you have the plant you want you maintain with "hair cuts" and give them away to everyone you know...way to make friends in your new community. Happy Growing!
Awww pretty sad your moving I wish we could have met in person before your move. I hope you have a safe travel and I wish you luck in your new adventure. 💚🌿
I had that same experience with root rot with any plant I forgot to water by several days overdue. That’s the only way I incur root rot cuz my plants usually suffer from under-watering than overwatering. I’ve converted quite a portion of my houseplants to passive hydroponics, so I have to relearn new watering habits, and thus forget when to water those still in soil. . Be fortunate your plant is suffering from that kind of root rot than the one from overwatering. 💕
Oh Becca I will miss you being in AZ. That was one of the many many many things I love about your channel. Just saying. I wish you well and I’m excited for you on this journey and adventure. Are you moving the plants yourself or do the movers take them? Your totes look great! Can’t wait to have some and think of you!💚
Hope your plant bounces back quickly. I’m so nervous my A clarinervium will do that as I can’t use the moisture meter for her because hr soil is so chunky. Moving is so stressful!! Good luck lady!
The song playing while you’re checking the plant for root rot, reminds me of sims. 😅 I played sims 4 all day Sunday sooo yeah. My mind must still be stuck on the game. lol
Ooh take pictures of your uncommon plants before and after they arrive at your new home, that would REALLY make an intersting video! (I can also smell views 😉🌚)
I don’t know how you live with all that road noise! I have trees and live on a fairly quiet road, small town. Hopefully you will love love your new home and the area you are moving to. ❤️✌🏻🌱🌿🍃
Found my monstera got root rot the day my stuff was supposed to ship from Massachusetts to California. I feel your stress! Ended up leaving it with my MIL. 😔
That watering segment was so satisfying. I hope your plant with the root rot survives.
I’m so excited for you Becca!!👩🌾💚

Love both your RUclips channels ❤
I love those totes!!! When will they be available? 😍😍
Sometimes root rot can happen when the plant is not watered frequently enough. The roots dry out beyond the point of return.
Yes that’s what I think happened :/
Yay I was hoping for this video! ♡
Ooh take pictures of your uncommon plants before and after they arrive at your new home, that would REALLY make an intersting video! (I can also smell views 😉🌚)

They’ll be on my website soon :) www.delaplants.com

I’m just curious. Have u ever tried bottom watering so u don’t have to constantly move your plant.
I don’t like bottom watering - just personal preference!

I’m nervous to move with my 100+ plants.
