The "Problem" of an Attractive Wife

This is a "problem" I'm sure most men are all too happy to have. Where it is an extreme blessing, it does sort of paint a target on a man's back, especially in rough society where every man does only what is right in his own eyes.
Men well be jealous, and many of them will covet her, at least in their hearts.
James 4 tells us that this is the cause of all strife and war.
So it's not surprising that Isaac would be nervous about his supreme blessing, but shouldn't he have gone to God with this "problem" instead of being deceptive with those around him?
