OnTrack Karting Wallingford, CT 3-6-19 League Race 'A' Main ***TOUGH RACE--NEW TIRES***

Tonight was a fun and exciting race, I got a good kart for qualifying(#9) and qualified third with a 37.341 and this was in the second qualifier. In the position race I was not able to advance my position any better than 3rd but I did have a good battle with SWIFTY behind me for little bit until I started to pull away..my fastest lap was 36.991. In the feature race I was starting 6th and drew the #4 kart which I knew was good, but when I got to the kart I noticed it had new front tires and I knew I was going to have a tough race with trying to get speed out of the kart. In the beginning of the race I was able to advance a spot or two but ultimately could not really hold it, besides the front tires being new I was also battling with what seemed like a worn right rear that wouldn't stick in the left handers. So doing what I could I was only able to bring home an 8th place finish with a fast lap of 37.415. So with that said, Thanks for watching and Enjoy!!
