I purchased a spoke torque wrench. They are awesome
good vid man I have been riding a 93 kdx 200 since 96 keep up with your bike maintenance they'll go for ever!! good call on checking the spokes a few years ago I bent a rim could have been because of loose spoke? I deal with Mikes bikes out of Calgary Alberta for old bike parts he's the guy to go to for relic parts I think it cost me $100 for front tire full assembly keep on ripping it!!

I have done the top end and bottom end do my routine maintenance wd40 the chain I sold my 2012 450 rmz that bike was scary love green!!! looks like fun ridding where your at we ride in the mountains here
Make sure yall change the stock piston to a forged and shes good to go!

Hey man,I love that someone is riding and motovlogging on a KDX! i just recently bought a 2003 KDX220R for my first dirtbike and am so excited to get on the bike. What fuel mixture do you use?
Congrats on buying a great bike.. They are very under rated IMO.. I'm running Amsoil Dominator two stroke oil 50/1.
i've heard nothing but good things about them so hopefully that stays true in my experience and thank you for the info,44:1 is in mine now and it smokes way too much.
Carolina Quad Riders Just my opinion. But I would run what ever the oil your using recommends. The Amsoil D suggests 50/1. But I wouldn’t mix yamalube at that ratio. Hope this helps. 👍

Hey man you wouldn't happen to have any extra KDX 220R parts I really need the counter shaft for the transmission it's the shaft that the front sprocket goes on if you do have anything I would gladly buy it or trade my extra parts for your parts please let me know if you do

Was this Christmas Tree pass heading towards Kingman? Great pass if it was. My pops taught us to sing the spokes before every ride so this brought back memories. Happy trails ✌️

Thanks... My current tire of choice is Maxxis IT desert on this bike. They have a long wear life for rocky desert terrain. And grip well. I also like running the stock 100/100/18 size.
