Great presentation! Don't add too much fuel injector cleaner! May trigger O2 sensor code. Follow directions. Only add the amount at the recommended intervals. I inadvertently added 3 bottles of Liqui Moly DI cleaner in my Porsche Panerma 4s over the course of 2k miles. Check engine light code for O2 sensor. Light reset on its own after about 50 miles and some fresh gas. Di Jectron Bottle says add at every 2400 miles, more than enough. Great product!

Might give dijectron a go with my b8 s4. It's not running badly at the moment but 80k miles the injectors probably seen better days!
I use jectron and valve clean every 6 weeks….workin like a charm in my 2011 Audi A5
Every 6 weeks is overkill, but it doesn't harm either.
Does it matter how many miles a day you put? I daily about 70 miles a day
Is your engine direct injected? How does the cleaner get to the back of the intake valves?
Do you put the moly in before you pump or after you filled up

The Gasoline System clean its a more general cleaning , right ? On the back of the can it says that it also cleans injectors and some of the things that the some of the dedicated cleaning products do. So would that be fine for starters?

Hi, I got a 2011 A4 2.0 TFSI (EA888 Gen 2). Which products would you recommend to use and for which intervals? Currently, I'm thinking of using the proline cleaner first for a full gas tank, then the di-jectron for the following fuel tank. Is this a good idea or does anybody else have better suggestions? Thank you!
This is just anecdotal, though I have used these products: The Pro-Line is a pretty strong cleaner, so I'd wait a longer time before using other cleaning-type additives. I waited about 2 months or about 5-6 tanks of gas before adding anything else. I now follow the 2,400-mile recommended interval between using the DI Jectron. I've heard it's not good to throw too many extreme cleaners at your car within a short time -- it could wear out seals and gaskets, etc.

Yes sir.... I have a 2013 BMW X5M that would at times throw a check engine light when accelerating. I put a code reader on it and no code came up. I wasn't sure what to do so I put in fuel cleaner from Amsoil / Redline / Royal Purple / Liqui Moly. One of them at every fill up. Problem is gone now, but I do believe it was a dirty or clogged fuel injector.
Has any of theese products any additive to lubricate the system and the fuel pump ?

The valve carbon cleaner does not work on direct combustion engines. The injectors are placed inside the combustion chamber and not before the valves, so the product does not pass through the valves.

Hi Ben, we would recommend sticking to the Diesel specific additives from LIQUIMOLY, as Valve Clean is designed specifically for gas engine.

We always recommend the Pro-Line Fuel System Cleaner yet (Part# LM2030) if you are new to the Liqui Moly fuel additives.
He talks about doing the exterior cleaning of the valves with a professional with a walnut blaster. But there you have the electronic throat cleaner. I don't mention anything about that :/ about how it works.

english flush is a completely different system and wouldn't affect jectron or gasoline system cleaner.

Why is liqui moly synthetic oil better than Mobil 1? i use 5-40 for my c240. Do you have any test data to prove that liqu-moly is higher quality than Mobil 1?
LM is going to have a completely different additive package compared to M1. I believe the base stock is going to be different as well along with a much higher HTHS specification and solid NOAK rating.
A lot of the API SP GF-6A rated 5w30/5w40 oils are not very good and are at the low end of the spectrum for film strength and high temperature shear.

This would be great information to have. I also learned that German cars made in Germany have higher quality then the same car made in the US or in South Africa, just like Japanese cars made in Japan are of higher quality than the same car made in the US.

Just to be clear there's nothing wrong with running Mobile1 or any other brand of oil as long as it meets the engine specifications.
The difference between say Amsoil, LM, or even Red Line is in the base stock and additive package.

liqui moly is great but the vendors in LA are is charging $11/liter which is not competitively priced with other high quality synthetic oils like EURO LUB AND Mobil 1.

I accidentally pour the whole 300ml of LM Injector cleaner bottle in an 50 l tank, can I get into trouble?
You should be fine with that, if the tank is not full you could top it off, and if it is full you should be ok.
@@fcpeuro thx, another question: it's there any procedure that I need to follow after adding the LM injector, regarding the driving mode ( short vs long trips, normal vs higher rpm, etc. ) I haven't found any info on the LM website or maybe I missed it.

Audi said two injectors were bad might as well do all 6. Total upsell. 1 can in 2 consecutive tanks of gas...problem gone.

"If you're faced with problems on your intake valves GDI engine" NOT IF but when. Sooner or later you'll have to have the valves cleaned manually which requires a costly partial teardown of your engine to get to the valves. I've got a MK4 Jetta (port injected) it has 265kmi on it never once had to spend more than $50 dollars for a crank timer that's it, run Jectron once a year.
I also have a MK7 Alltrack now at 45kmi and now getting ready to spend over $600 to have valves walnut blasted, is this progress? 🤷🏻♂ Nothing against LIQUI MOLY products I use them including my oil.
Sounds like a money making adventure to me. How do these products know to only go to certain places? For instance the injectors or the valves and how does the Gasoline System Cleaner product miss cleaning the injectors and valves?

I’m not sure. I’ve recently used the DiJectron and it’s done something odd.. hence why I have come here for answers..
I checked the spark plug and I looked down the cylinders and noticed the top looked very glossy and polished, with small bits of carbon. But with a layer of sheen.
Previously even when I first had my engine rebuilt. I noticed the top had a thin coat of dry carbon. So I dunno if it’s the product had actually done this..
I do recall of additives to try clean top of cylinders but DiJectron doesn’t advertise it as a function/ability.. hmm
I used it last week, and my check engine light came on ! I ran it through a full tank and refueled again with 11 more gallons of gas. I still had my check engine light on after 25 miles.I tried to use my code scanner to erase code 9141 .Now my car won't stay running ?WTF.

No automotive fluids last forever alot of modern ones last longer than they used to though the dealer told me that the cvt fluid is lifetime but the owner's manual says change it every 30,000 miles if the cvt fluid lasts a lifetime like they said it does the cvt should come with a lifetime warranty

That's correct; the nature of direct-injection means that fuel, the typical solvent on port-injection engines for valve cleaning, never reaches the backside of the intake valves. To clean your valvetrain, you'll want to do a proper carbon cleaning. We do have walnut blasting tutorials available on this channel as well as walnut blasting kits on our site if you want to tackle it yourself!
