Rest in Peace, Brandon Lee. We lost him far too early, just like his father, Bruce Lee. It's hard watching the behind the scenes features on the DVD, where he discusses his character's resurrection, and how it's important to live our lives to the full.
I saw the series long before I watched the original movie and it made me a fan of The Crow. I even liked City of Angels even though it was cut to pieces by Those Who Shall Not Be Named.
I don't wish bad on anyone but the original is an absolute classic for more than it's tragedies. It's an exceptional film and out of respect should have been a one and done
Alberact: "Move and you're dead." Eric: "I say I'm dead. Therefore, I move." Then proceeds to do a hilarious exit stage left. I was not expecting to see 'The Crow' do the dance/skipping thing like they do on LoonyToons before the shephards crook drags them offstage. 🤣🤣🤣
I disagree that 1st one is a lighting in a bottle, its a team of talented filmakers who cared about what they were doing. And together they made really good movie.
The Crow: City of Angels is a movie that I can't help but feel bad for. I actually like the aesthetic and I love Vincent Perez. But the Weinsteins had to butcher it into a generic sequel instead of the emotional story it was initially supposed to be.
Agreed @spiceupyourafterlife I want director's cut. When I watched it I felt there was something I missed or their was something missing from the movie, I had no deleted scenes on the DVD and I was worried it got messed with in post production. Fast forward to me looking at the trivia section on IMDB and yup sure enough it got messed with. Fkin' Harvey is a butcher.
NC girl here! fucking love this movie born in 1990 I actually picked the original movie for family movie night and showed it to my nephew for the first time ❤❤❤
I want the Director's cut of Crow 2 City of Angels! I think Crow 3 Salvation could have been salvaged with a stronger script and a bit more budget, it looked like they ran out of money in several scenes. I think Brandon Lee's The Crow should be re-released on the big screen. Hollywood should do that instead of wasting money on remaking iconic classics that dont need to be tainted.
Eric retrieved Shelly's engagement ring from Gideon's, not his wedding ring... And you can absolutely dog Salvation's villains for not recognizing Alex. Eric came back a year later, and presumably Top Dollar's goons have been doing that to numerous people while working for him. One wouldn't expect them to recognize one random dude they killed a year ago. You absolutely should recognize the guy you framed, and executed days ago, at most.
I absolutely believe it would. Brandon's death perhaps brought more attention to it, but The Crow stands on it's own merits as a stylish, emotional and well made movie.
I feel like if Brandon hadn’t died while making one of these, most people wouldn’t even care to remember it I remember it bc my brother watched it when I was growing up and at the time, it scared me. Now, it’s definitely not scary.
Not only was The Crow my gateway to the goth culture when I was a little baby goth in 2001, but cemented my love for Tony Todd. Not only in The Crow but all of my other nerdy passions he's been in: Candyman, Hercules, Xena, and Star Trek.
I actually enjoyed this film, I'm not one of these people who go on about remakes or sequels. If they're fun that's good enough for me, looking forward to remake 👍😊💜🐾
One day the might make an ok Crow movie again. But this story will never be told better than Alex and Brandon did. You are on a fools errand if you even try. The only way forward is someone else becoming a crow.
Do yous think they did something to Brandon's voice for the, "is that gasoline i smell?" Line? It sounds weird to me and ive always wondered if its him or done in post
My fiancée and i actually went to the Cinema and watched the 4K Re-Release of the Original Brandon Lee Crow and it felt like we went back in time. We both enjoyed a great piece of Cinema History together. As for the Crow Salvation it was actually pretty good, i showed my fiancée the sequels and she loved how the third kept you interested because it was like a guess who, mystery movie which was the actual selling point of the third film. Wicked Prayer sucks balls so bad but i showed my Fiancée my own cut and version of Wicked Prayer and it was ok, I'm still to show her the disappointment that is the original cut haha. But yeah if you are great at video editing you can find gold in shit.
I seen the remake yesterday and it was pretty awesome but that’s just my opinion but nothing beats the og and i agree say what you about but look it’s time to move on from Brandon i absolutely love the og better but I think remake was good to it was dark gritty action packed slow but good in my opinion Brandon would have wanted this i think
It’s sad that Brandon tried to prove his acting prowess only to fall into direct to dvd slop. When he finally won people over he wasn’t there to see the results
Ummm as far as Tara ried goes, she got the reputation of being difficult on set, and I guess she started drinking a lot so roles were hard to find after a bit
The reason the original crow gets right and the sequels and remake get wrong is. Thst the revenge Eric seeks changes him from bringing this wronged man to a sadistic killer. The fact he sees their lives as unimportant and the people he kills as means to an end this is fine to shows he’s become like the people who killed him. The sequels and the remake kiss out of this character development Brcause they want to basically have revenge is cool with the original is what do you become when you take it
Can ya Cover the Novel versions of City of Angels Quoth the Crow Temple by Nights Lazarus heart Clash by Night Wicked Prayer Hellbound Please and thank you oh and the Razor/The Crow mini series...

I love Edward Furlong, but he looks hilarious playing the crow 😂

I Read That The Crow Remake Bombed So Hard At The Box Office The Original Crow Starring Brandon Lee Still Stands The Test Of Time.
If they just put the original back in theaters I would pay to watch it ❤
@legzfalloffgirl5148 They did, and it was awesome!
Just the trailer for the remake was enough to predict it was going to bomb. Has there ever been a more cringe-inducing trailer?
Funny, it did better than the sequels
A beautifully well made film, it’s an amazing masterful work.
Have only seen the Proyas original, and I plan to keep it that way.
Rip Bruce & Brandon 🙏

That film deserves better
Yeah, much better than this trash bin we got for 2024.
Yeah, Ashe had such good potential. I do very much enjoy what Vincent got to portray, at least.
Agreed @spiceupyourafterlife

OG Crow soundtrack was insane. Cure, Helmet, Jesus and Mary Chain, Violet Femmes, Thrill Kill, Medicine. Crazy
You might not be a fan but Big Empty by Stone Temple Pilots. An amazing song.
I remember early 2000's they were trying to get DMX to play in a Crow movie and you guessed it a slain rapper comes back from the dead for revenge.

Need to do a video on “repossessed “ one of the best spoof horror movie. PLEASE
Would the first Crow move still be held in such high regard if Brandon Lee wasn't killed on set?
