Great content, really needed to hear what you’re saying. I just finished my first month without my preceptor in the ERr and I feel like I’m drowning sometimes but I love it and will keep watching your content and learning ✊🏿🔥
Thank you so much ! I am feeling overwhelmed after returning to the ER after almost 20 years. I am feeling like a new grad, although I have taken care of many critically care patients over the years
I needed to hear this! I just worked my first 3 shifts at the ER I’m a new nurse is being very intimidating but not impossible thank you for this Advices!!❤
I start next month and I’ve been in healthcare for over a decade as a corpsman, a medical assistant, and an EMT, but I am super anxious about starting as a nurse. Thank you for this.
Back in the day, a new grad had to do Med-Surg first for 2 years before even considering ER or ICU...This was the best way to develop critical thinking skills, learn time managment, have exposure to many diagnoses and their treatments, learn how to really chart well, develop team thinking, etc..Now, I see new grads in ICU, ER and step downs that still require a good amount of nursing experience, and they are struggling..Every now and again, you come across a rock star, who is just super smart, and adapts very well in any environment, but 99.9% of new grads need to develop first and gain experience prior to going to these areas, where the patient needs to be stabilized...

Can we get an update?

Good job buddy Good advice I can see you have it together and believe me I would know!👋👏👏
Thank you for taking time to make this helpful content.
Thank you for this.
Thank you very helpful!
Tip Number One is sadly wasted, because the cocky nurses would not seek out videos like this. It's worth saying though, because it's truly vital.
Thanks so much for posting!
Thank you for your channel
Thanks for the advice!!!
