This is THE MOST THOROUGH and TO THE POINT video I’ve seen here, regarding what to expect and how to prep to be an ER nurse 👏🏾. I just passed my RN boards and hoping to start in the ER soon😍. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH for sharing your knowledge❗️❗️❗️
Hey Larry, congrats and thank you! Def. overwhelming at times. It’s such a rollercoaster, some days it’s fun and I’m progressing fast and then other days it’s super frustrating because it feels like I don’t know anything and not progressing at all. Very fast paced environment and so many things you have to remember to do in such a short time, but some things do come easier over time. Overall, better than bedside nursing imo, because I love the variety in patients you see. How about yourself, how do you like it so far?
So good. I’ve been In The ER for almost a month now from being a med/surg nurse for a year. Feeling a little overwhelmed with the learning curve. Thanks for this
This is amazing! I am a new LPN that was just hired in the ER. I start my RN program in January. You covered so much information, clearly and concisely. This definitely settled my nerves somewhat.
Your content is GOLD. Thank you for your patience and time in explaining and enumerating all these high yield info. Your videos don’t have fluff, just precious and direct to the point helpful tips. I’m so glad I found your channel. I’m about to start my ED residency and I’ll use your videos
This was super helpful and super motivating. I really appreciated the tips and the information it's sort of what I needed although I'm not a new grad I sure feel like it because I'm brand new to ER without any triage background etc. So thank you thank you!
What made you switch from NICU to ER? I have one semester of nursing school left and I’ve been hired in the ED to start this summer. I’m also interested in NICU so just curious.

Awesome, thank you so much. I paused the video first to take down notes from the scavenger hunt. I stopped to look up “air war supplies”, lol.
