    Given the difference in cost, Tarminator did surprisingly well. The chart idea came across well. I think this is the most professional vid you've done.

    Is Citrol 266 what I want to get off (super) stubborn chipseal (or fogseal?) residue? I went on a road which had recently been done. thought I was safe because no stones, but i now have a light something splattered up from the front wheel. I've made multiple attempts with 3M Adhesive Remover and the stuff isnt' budging. Luckily it's hard to notice at the angles one looks that low on the car, but I want to get it off.

    I just a bought a used car and the wheels were neglected and never cleaned. After thoroughly cleaning them from a thick layer of brake dust, tar stains are on the barrels and won’t come off with anything I’ve tried. I haven’t used these products though mostly because they’re not over the counter at most stores. My question is, would any of these do the trick and remove the nasty tar stains on my wheel barrels? Thanks

      If iron remover such as iron x wont work, you might want to try an acid based wheel cleaner to clean up the rims. Once clean stick to regular car wash and iron remover.

    • @lockergr
      @lockergr 3 года назад

      I'm having the same issue deep inside of my wheel barrels and lugs. I used to Adams Wheel and Tire cleaner and I also used carpro iron X, with a lug brush. It's all still there. Did you find something that worked?

    Well it shows Citrol is def. better but I think I will still get Stoners for now. Just by price difference is so huge and I can still get the results I want even though it will take a bit longer. But that’s just my opinion. Thanks for the video though. I’m sure pro detailers that don’t have much time will prefer citrol to save time

    Hello Brian, I haven't seen this video until today since I got some over spray in my vehicle (a neighbor painted his fence and paint splattered in medium to little size drops over the car) and off course I want to get rid of it. I've watched your other over spray video and you did it with some product Called Rapid Remover. Hence I see here that they both work great I want you to know which one do you prefer ? which one could you recommend to me?. Again congrats for another great video.

    Clear coat question.
    If the clear coat measures 4.6 how much can I safely remove. Removing a deep scratch from a very expensive Aston Martin next week. It not through but deep.
    Many thanks

      Are you sure that is the clear?!? Its usually 1,1/2 to 2 mills thick from factory.... unless it has been repainted. Make sure of that first. My Positector measures total thickness .. not layers

      I recently used Meguiar's Water Spot Remover on chrome colored hard plastic, and it surprised me and did amazingly well. When I had body work done at the Honda dealership they "tried" to remove them (or so they said) but I stumbled across the Meguiars product at Pep Boys for $6 a bottle and figured it was worth a shot. Definitely a great investment on my part.
