BTW a fact about this yarn is that 'sari' is the traditional attire for women in India and it consists of a single piece of silk or cotton cloth. So I guess this yarn is made of the leftover silk that is produced in the sari industry.😊
OMG I was just about to say that in her last video, when she made the bralette set.. I am from bangladesh and Saree is also our traditional attire! I knew immediately those are leftovers from KATAN sarees, cut thin and made into yarn cake!! but I was worried if saying leftover comes out rude!!
Yes the owner of the shop that sells this fiber said that this silk yarn doesn’t come from used saris but it’s the leftover fabric from the industry that’s cut into strips 💓💓
That bag is everything. All those lovely colours 😍 Really loved the part of the video in the park. The different angles, the music, the talk about 'conscious crocheting'. Very enjoyable vlog 💚
I am so much comfortable with the knife hold since this is how I first learned... I cannot even grab the yarn with the pencil hold🤣😂🤣😂 and pretty slow with that technique... but everyone has their unique style I guess... 💗💗💗
The purse looks amazing! The colors work so well together, and the button adds the perfect little touch, I love it! I admire your confidence to crochet outdoors, and FILM, so much! I just sit in my room, I should probably go outside more and socialize. Thank you for this video! It was amazing!
I rarely comment on videos, but yours just make me so happy! I love watching them, so I think they deserve some comments! I try to go outside at least once a day, and I’m slowly starting to go on more walks! I just need to find a good place somewhere outside where I can crochet. Good luck on your crochet adventures!!!
I can not believe it’s my first time seeing you on YT 🤯 I caught the previous vid also with the set you made with that ribbon yarn…all three pieces are phenomenal!
Hey Erin! I’m new to your subs but I’ve been binging your vids while finishing my Harry Styles cardigan! I finished it this morning and it looks awesome. I relate to crochet and knitting being isolating but a way i tried to stay connected was I biked with my dad to a park and crocheted in the park watching the farmers market (bc I constantly forgot my money at home lol). I also went outside in my backyard and crocheted in my trampoline,. I also am knitting a sweater with scrap yarn bc I’m on environmental club and don’t like the idea of waste so that’s great to see on yt. Anyways love your channel and please keep creating awesome content!
Have you ever heard of soleless sandals? I've seen crochet artists come up with all kinds of designs 🧶Most of them seem to be pretty small projects too. Perfect for going to the park or sitting at the beach 🏖
@@itserinb I'm surprised you haven't heard of them with all of the beach accessories you've made 😂 Pairs of those would probably go very well with your beach accessories at least
Beautiful tote. You did it again Erin! I really enjoy your videos so glad I found you on youtube. Somehow I must have missed where you purchase this particular yarn can you leave a link thanks
@@itserinb I will definitely check that out when I go out and go yarn shopping ❤️ ahhh I need your help what yarn do you recommend to make a cardigan ☺️
@@leslieguzman9559 I'm not Erin but I can help you out a bit. For winter I'd go with wool or a wool blend. For summer cotton, bamboo or blends of those. I would avoid 100% acrylic as it can get stuffy. But don't be afraid to try out blends with 50% acrylic or less. Blends usually give you the best of all the fibers.
My wrist has been clicking and ive been having so much pain when I crochet. So so sad bc im working on a baby blanket as a suprise gift. If anyone has any tips to avoid carpal tunnel, or wrist issues please comment!
Please please give me some yarns, i started learning crochet with 100g yarn it's over now and i ve no money to buy more, it's expensive and also here no shops for it 😭😭 i want to learn crochet more and more and more
Like the idea of consciousness crochet! It’s a thing that I should keep in my mind.
Helps me to really slow down and think about my process and enjoy crafting instead of rushing through it all 🥰
