As someone who played this in the stands back in school when I marched, this made me snort lol
Playing that low on a mellophone is not easy so it take a lot of air either way. But it is funny as a mellophone myself I was gasping for air when we marched that part

The transition where it switches from 2/4 to 3/4 is so clean 0:35
2:30 the horns are the only brass instrument with that part and we only have 4 horns

vincent aramburu, dude, I’m the only horn. My tone is horrible anyways, but since we’re a subpar middle school band, my band director just tells me to blast until she says it’s too much. By that she means “play until you think you sound louder than the woodwinds and the percussionists behind you tell you to shut up.”

The waltz was rather slow compared to the original, and this is grade 4, I'd think the players of this arrangement would be able to handle roughly 174 bpm to a quarter note during the waltz (though the trombones would have to have some fun with the melody there. I know I did when I played the waltz section at proper tempo).

This arrangement is okay, but I felt like the woodwind trill in the beginning should've had a more solid downbeat.

This appears to be a 1998 revision of Bocook's 1986 arrangement, already posted at ruclips.net/video/9vVgy-vFpQ8/видео.html
This one is in Bb rather than C, and has the Mars tag at the end, suggesting it was intended to be part of a Planets show package.
Not to mention that it uses computerized engraving, rather than being drawn by hand like the 1980s charts were.

Fierce Deity Gaming It's not bad, but I personally think Jay Bocock's 1986 arrangement was orchestrated better and the faster tempo added more energy to the arrangement. This one sounds dead in comparison. A bit disappointed they didn't do Mars.
Tiny-Orange15 I never said it was bad. In fact, I said the opposite. The 1986 one is miles ahead of this one in terms of orchestartion, though.

Me! I finished the game last night, and I’m so sad that it’s over! But listening to the music gives kind of a nostalgic feeling.
For me it completely ruined Jupiter it’s not like it’s even that hard technically it’s mostly being lyrical.

The feature at 79 should 100% be Baritones not clarinets and horns
The whole melody works better in horn voicing. It would get too high and no one would want to here that. Mellos are better anyway
