So was I Carol. Yes the car park was a bit scary, but I’m fine and the car will fix. Well I think she is, inside and out, so thank you. Oh my word, you wouldn’t want to see my back garden Carol, it’s a right mess, it was supposed to be this years project, but we need a new bathroom, so it might have to wait till next year, we will see. I can show my kitchen though, no probs. I’m not risking it again, I’ll just buy a small Yeo, and use it for 2 batches. That way I know it works. It’s rained all day, but the sun has just come out ❤️
Oh Lynn what a frightening experience you had in the car park…..it’s good to know no one was seriously hurt……your car will be sorted and you’re ok which is the main thing. My eldest daughter has rugby ball shape eyes……it’s called an astigmatism, she was only three when we found out and she has worn glasses ever since, she did try contact lenses a couple of years ago but couldn’t get on with them. Hope all goes well with the heart monitor and of course your car 🥰
Yes it was Bethany, thank god no one got injured, and as you say, the main thing is that I was ok, the car will get fixed. I’d heard of astigmatism, but never rugby ball eye. I can’t get on with the reading glasses so I’m going to have varifocal lenses put in instead. At least I’ll have a spare pair then ❤️🌹❤️

What a carry on in Tesco car park. I remember a friend having an accident in supermarket car park and there was a problem as it was private property. Guess the police being there helps. Poor man, you certainly need your wits about you when driving, even in a car park. The number of times I see people reversing almost into each other. Love that little steamer. I got my first parcel from Temu, impressed with items. Ive got to take up a pair of ‘silky material’ trousers, by hand, no machine. Not looking forward to it. X❤
Oh I’m so thankful that the police were there, and my insurance are sorting it all out. I watch all the cars when I’m walking about, if someone starts their engine I move well away. Oh how exciting, I’m glad you liked your purchases. Perhaps use the wonder web, no sewing ❤️❤️❤️

I’ve only ever had 2 accidents in my car and both times I’ve had a really old man and really old lady run into me both definitely in their nineties. Hi Sandra, I’m sorry you’ve had such a bad experience, it really is dangerous these days, and although I’m not ageist in any way, I do feel that our reactions are much slower as we get older. Can you believe it, it’s a rare occasion that I come out of Tesco without having bought some item of clothing. Stay safe, and take care out there ❤️❤️❤️
So sorry about your car Lynn but glad no one was hurt, the whole thing sounds terrifying. I had the 24 hr heart monitor test done a few months ago for eptopic heart beats I'd been getting for months and I'm now on a low dose beta blocker to try for 3 months, it seems to have done the trick, so far so good. ❤Your nails are gorgeous, love the Waistcoat/ trousers co-ords your beautiful Joanne was checking out. What an eventful week, Love your nails, I must have missed you trying on the trousers you took up, so sad about the elderly man good luck with the heart monitor I had one a few years ago and it woke me up every hour when it was doing it’s thing I ended up taking it off about 4 am so that I could get some sleep. I got some really lovely bedding plants from home bargains last week. ❤️

Oh how exciting Milly, a word of advice, if you buy the steamer, the plate stays hot for quite a while after you switch it off, so be careful with it. I knew a lady who had one , come out of our local car park , she put her foot on the gas pedal instead of the foot brake . & ended up crashing into a house opposite . . But as you say , so lucky that no one was hurt .

Oh lynn, your poor car. At least you weren't hurt. We had an incident last year at our local garden centre, when an elderly gentleman plunged into the side of the building. He was well into his 90's. Fortunately, nobody was hurt. But it could have been carnage 😮.

Hi Lynn quite the week,first thank goodness you all didn’t get hurt in the car park,and I hope the older gentleman is okay.Its easy for people to say he shouldn’t drive,but it’s independence for many,and the elderly have no where near as many accidents as the younger people do,I don’t drive anymore as parking is a terrible problem in NYC.On a fun note,I too have an astigmatism,I also have a prism on my lenses,so unfortunately they are expensive,I too have worn glasses for74 years,ever since I went to school,and the teachers told my Mother I couldn’t see.My Mother was one of 11 children,10 of which wore glasses,my Mother did not,but I guess she pasted that on to me😂

I don’t think he’ll get insurance, I think he’s 83, and there will be 8 cars affected including his own, so not much chance, he probably won’t want to. Hi Lynn I have the exact problem with my eye so I can't wear contacts either I'm also waiting for my results for suspected glaucoma from the hospital I went in Jan and I'm still waiting my pressures are high they are 29 , so glad you didn't get hurt with the accident x

I’m fine thank you Shirley, and no you don’t. People of a certain age would have to take a test I think, or there should be a cut off point. Yes I made a brew and sat for a while lol. Strapless are the best really if you want to avoid sun marks ❤️

Pity about the lens’s Lynn. I’ve had them for years. I’ve also got cataracts and they’re getting worse. My old boy had one cataract done 3 weeks ago. The other one is next week. He can’t believe the difference. Omg. Lynn some people really shouldn’t be driving. I know some older folks have all their buttons but some really have slow reactions. Thank goodness nobody was hurt. ❤

To bad about your new car but at the end of the day you are ok thank goodness.That does happen a lot with automatic cars people getting mix up with the pedals my dad and brother have been in the car game all there lives it’s kept them very busy. I had a heart monitor fitted about 10 years ago. When I went back the doctor said you must be a very restless sleeper so obviously they do look at the whole of the 24hrs . They offered me Beta blockers I ask if I had to take them ,she said no it’s your choice so I said no. I’d always known my heart was funny as when I was 5 I broke my arm and they told my mum then said I may grow out of it but I never did. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 you get a good result. X❤
Yes absolutely Wendy. I don’t know when I’ll get the results, but it will just be my luck that my heart behaved itself while I was wearing the monitor lol. Years ago I was diagnosed with sinus arrhythmia, but nothing was ever done about it, so I’ve lived with it all these years, perhaps it’s something to do with that, who knows. Hopefully it won’t be long before I hear ❤️❤️❤️

Yes, the main thing was that no one got hurt, cars can be fixed. Yes I payed for frames, but I can’t get on with the reading lenses, making me dizzy, so I’m going back, I’ll have varifocals put in. ❤️

Hi, my beautiful petite queen. What a week you had. Thank God you are safe and sound. I know it was frustrating having your new car scratched, but better the car than you. I can't believe he actually hit seven cars. He had to have been going at a fast speed to do that kind of damage. That's terrible. That poor old man. He has to be feeling so bad about it all. You are right, I do think it's time for him to quit driving. I wonder if he had some kind of spell or something. Maybe a small stroke. He probably should get checked out to make sure it wasn't anything medical. We had to take my mother-in-law's car away from her in her 90s also. She never got in any wrecks, but on her way home one day she got confused and couldn't remember how to get home. She stopped and ask someone for directions. That was a sure sign that it was time for her to quit driving. She hated it though. It makes them feel like they lost their independence. There were enough of us around, that she could always find one of us to take her where she needed to go. But she sure didn't like it. It was so good seeing the beautiful Joann in the video. She looks like such a sweetheart. You got some great deals on those clothes. So cute. I love the bikini top, such a pretty color. I am looking forward to seeing you make the heart wreath and updating the front porch. I want to get some plants to put in the back patio and get that fixed up, but with all the rain, it's all on hold. It has to be shade loving plants though because there's not much sun back there at all. I had sent you a picture of the potting table hubby made for me. It came out so beautiful. Of course that was quite a few years ago, but I love it. I want to get some small plants to put on it too. I have an astigmatism in one of my eyes also. Can't wear contacts, either. It doesn't bother me other than, I would love to be able to get some cute sunglasses for driving. But I have to have prescription sunglasses, so that's out. Could never get used of progressive lens. So I have a pair for driving and a pair for close up. I do need a pair for the computer. I'll probably go toward the end of the year for that. I have to change eye Dr. as I don't care for the ones that I have to go to now. You donated quite a bit of clothing, good for you. Got to make room for the new ones. LOL. I hadn't been clothes shopping for quite some time. I am due for a day of shopping myself. I decided to get my hair color and do it myself. I just don't feel like going and sitting in a salon chair for 2 hours to get it done. Your nails came out so pretty. I love the color. Are those acrylic nails? Can't believe you had to take 3 inches off. That's crazy. At least you don't have to go to a seamstress to get it done. I've been watching videos on how to alter jeans in the waist. It should be an easy fix. That is a good little steamer you got. I may have to get me one of those. Looking forward to seeing the fashion show, you petite queen!!! Hello my darling, I’m sorry this reply is shorter than normal, but I’m struggling to press the keys, I’ve injured my wrist, and even using a stylus pen is sending shooting pains down my fingers and up my arm, it’s not broken, I had it X-rayed yesterday, it’s tissue and ligament damage. I think the man on the car park scared himself to death, and I’m sure he will never get insurance again. My father in law still drives at 93, we worry lots about him. Hopefully you’ll get some sunshine soon and then you’ll be able to get all your garden and patio ready for the summer and looking beautiful. My hanging baskets are really coming on. For the life in me I don’t know what’s happened to that email, I know that I’ve seen the potting shed, and I can remember thinking “I’ll reply to that later” then I couldn’t find where I’d seen it. I checked my emails, comments on here, the only thing I can think is that I’ve accidentally deleted it Donna, it can’t have disappeared all by itself. The potting shed had a cupboard at the bottom that pulled down, I remember thinking how lovely that your hubby made that for you, so well thought out and innovative, clever man.
