Hello my name is Pat and my channel is Richerinyears. I am 74 years of age, 5'3" and a dress size 10-12. I love sharing with you my love of fashion, my style and Beauty tips. I hope you enjoy watching my videos and hope they give you lots of ideas and inspiration.

Oh no, she's even got good legs and can carry off short shorts and short dresses. You're officially amazing Pat. It never looks like you're trying too hard, or trying to look younger, or be anything other than who you are. You look better in a swimsuit than many women half your age. I had to chuckle though - it was like watching that balloon act, you know the one I mean? where one minute the balloons are covering one naughty bit, then the next, they're covering the other naughty bit. Lol. You do everything with such grace and dignity but there's always a little twinkle of fun as well. I bet you have a wicked sense of humour. You nailed that, you're now the poster girl to empower women over 70! I hope it goes viral.

It’s really good to see you wearing things because seeing some clothes in store on a hanger, I wouldn’t even try on because I think they’re not for me but seeing you in them often changes my mind. Very nice outfits and you always look really nice. Sue.

I loved everything and it suits you the red flowered dress doesn’t need your white belt the dress on its own cinches you nicely in the waist. You’ve got fantastic legs that you can wear shorts & swimming costume unfortunately I couldn’t I’ve got too much cellulite and couldn’t put them out there to the world 😂 maybe I should take a leaf out of your book and do some exercises, are you naturally tanned or do you use fake tan ? If so which one do you use ? 🩷

First time watching and am so impressed. I’m a 5 foot 1inch 74 and same kind of build. I never wear tucked in tops as feel it makes me look dumpy but seeing you demonstrate different ways of wearing tops and dresses makes me think again and I feel I could have the confidence to try different things. Personally I loved the red and white dress even though it was long you can easily carry it off.

Wow you look good in everything and what a great pair of legs too. I took the plunge this year and bought a couple of bikinis..well when say bikinis there's only about a 3inch gap in the middle ..high waist bottoms and a top that was the right sized bra too I am also in my 70's and do not care anymore!! 🙃

Wow what a haul. Some nice clothes in there. You wear these so well. I just love that amethyst dress . Absolutely stunning on. It goes to show that dresses look better on than on a hanger. The blouse is gorgeous but I don’t think I would buy that as it’s not my colour but would look nice in other colours

I'm afraid I don't have any secrets to how I look I just do the normal things but before I had both my cataracts done I did a lot of exercise ie aqua fit, zumba but haven't been able to do my classes until my eyes had healed but I can now start going again next week, can't wait. Particularly loved the yellow blouse on you and your outfit with the pink vest though casual, was modern and chic IMHO.

You need to describe the fabrics: cotton, polyester etc. I am someone who eschews synthetics.

Yes I keep a lot of what I buy if I like them, I usually do a clear out once a month and give some away to friends and my daughter in France gets most of them and also my older items that i won't be wearing any more go to charity shops. Would love to know your secret to youthful looks. Your neck is so smooth and no sign of crepy skin in sight. My neck and upper arms are awful at 20 years younger. You look incredible xx
Hi Danni, thank you , I don't really do anything special. I've got a sweet tooth, I, love wine but I do tend to excersize a lot maybe that's the answer, don't really know. I know my Parents looked very young for their age so it must be down to genetics. My arms are not the best though. Pat ❤

I'm "replying" to your reply in a new comment because ... I remember one content creator saying that you don't get notifications that you've got a "Reply to a reply", so that's something to be mindful of. I replied to a reply of yours a few videos back - later I remembered not to do that. I've been meaning to ask you about sponsors. I'm amazed M&S haven't yet picked you up, but they do work with a few over 50 lady content creators already I suppose. Have you tried contacting them? I don't know whether you might need to in the early stages. I know there's at least one book on Amazon called The Y--T--- Formula. (Never sure what comments they delete and why). There's probably loads more books. There may be some guidelines in one of those. You definitely deserve some recognition. I very rarely comment on anyone's videos btw! x

Morning Pat - I bought the yellow top in M&S last week, so easy to wear. How different the cream and red dress looks on, much nicer. If you were on the beach you wouldn’t be worrying about the swimsuit but good on you for being brave on YT.

Pat, you are genetically blessed, cant believe you you are 74, you look so youthful. You look beautiful in everything but l especially loved the red and white print dress, with or without the belt. M&S Just sell trash these days - they should go back to good quality rather than the rubbish they went in for when they took on the Frenchman as CEO (or whatever his job was) who was supposed to be the saviour of the store. I’m 66 and wouldn’t wear any of the items on show here. The purple dress in particular looks like a reject from a 1960s mail order catalogue.
