They do say that only women are good at multi tasking and you are certainly doing just that! Well done. ❤❤
Oh Valerie, can you imagine men doing it lol, I mean some could, but I think we women win on that score 💐🌹❤️
Well done Lynn. It’s so satisfying to put batch cooking into the freezer and know there is always a tasty meal handy. Definitely the microwave yogurt looks the easiest. I love that you have the clothes horse in the kitchen, just how normal people live and not a show home. My house is open plan. I try and keep tidy but have to live my life. X❤
Yes it’s very comforting to know that if I’m busy, or just don’t feel like cooking, I can just pull a meal out of the freezer no problem. Exactly Chrissie, I dry outside when possible, but in bad weather I try not to use my dryer, and the under floor heating does a good job of drying, so I’m happy as you say to be normal lol. It’s a home 1st and foremost like yours ❤️🌹
What a good organiser you are Lynn & you make it look so easy. A great motivator for sure. Take care, stay well & keep smiling ☺️❤️🌻
The kitchen is my happy place so I do find it easy, and if I can inspire someone all the better. You too overly lady ❤️🌹❤️
Hi Lynn good to see you again!!,Wow you put me to shame, all those lovely meals and yogurt!!!❤they all looked beautiful!!!,I can't do any cooking anymore due to health reasons, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching you ,you make it all look so easy but credit to you, you are a fantastic cook,in fact your great in all that you do!!now I am saying to you sit down put your feet up and have a cuppa!!,best wishes till next time 😀❤❤.
Nice to see you too Rosemary, well you don’t need to, just watch me haha. I’m sorry your health isn’t good, so if you get a bit of pleasure out of watching me then I’m a happy bunny. Much love as always, and I’m sat down lol 🌹❤️🌹
Hi Lynn. Another great video I loved watching you doing all that meal prep you’re so organised. I meal prep a few meals as it’s always good to have some healthy cooked meals in the freezer. Your meals looked delicious. You always make me smile Thank you. Have a lovely day and lovely weekend 🥰💕💕
Hi Sandra, oh you’re a meal prepper like me, at least we know what we’re eating Sandra, those ready cooked meals from the supermarket have too many additives in for my liking. I’ve pulled 2 out this morning, so an easy tea for me today lol 🌹❤️🌹
Love your cooking videos, Lynn, thank you x
Aw thank you Katie ❤️❤️❤️
Busy bee Lynn! Love to watch you in the kitchen. You always keep everything neat and tidy as you go along (best way) then you don't have to confront a mess afterwards. Keep on cooking. 😊😊xx
Oh I can’t be doing with too much mess, it stresses me out haha. Oh I will do, it’s my happy place the kitchen ❤️🌹💐
You give me so much inspiration to get organised Lynn, another fab video ❤👍x
Oh thank you Angela, that’s what it’s all about ❤️
I thought this video was just fabulous, talk about multitasking, phew! I don’t know how you didn’t get mixed up, I’d have been flummoxed by all that 😊, never knew you could make yogurt like that, well you learn something new everyday, think I’ll try that. Is it nice and creamy , I love Greek yogurt that is creamy tasting. Great stuff Lynn.❤
Hahaha well I’m at my happiest in the kitchen, it becomes thicker the longer you strain it, so if you leave some whey in it will be creamier, but never worry if you strain too much off, you just put some back in and whisk it till it’s just right for you. I made a batch yesterday in the microwave, it’s my go to now, so easy once you know how long it takes to reach the right temp. I had to go back and look at the video you were talking about, as I’ve made 3 videos about yoghurt. If you want thick yoghurt, once you’ve made it, if you strain it through cheesecloth in the fridge for a few hours, all the whey will drain out, and it’s this process that makes it into thick Greek yoghurt, so the more whey you leave in, the thinner consistency the youghurt will be. If you like it very thick, then drain it all out. I hope I’ve explained this ok. ❤️🥰❤️
What a well organised lady you are Lynn , all those meals looked wonderful, liked your hair swept up at the start suits you ❤❤
Aw thank you Irene, I just wanted it out of the way while I cooked, ❤️❤️❤️
Good afternoon Lynn on a bright but very windy afternoon in Lincolnshire. Absolutely love watching your meal preps, clothes hauls & putting the outfits together, you,ve given me so many ideas. Have also had a declutter of clothes i havn,t worn for around 17 years, i think its time they went, didn,t want to rush into the decision 😂 lol. What i would like to ask you is how do the onions turn out after having been frozen, i,ve thought about freezing them but wasn,t sure if they,d be soggy when defrosted. Keep up the excellent work, love your chatter, friendliness & your little laugh plus thd fact your answer sll your comments. Tale care Lynn. Havd a lovely weekend with Harvey. 😊❤x
Hi Shirley, well we have sunshine today for a nice change, with a slight breeze. Oh I’m so glad, because that’s what I wanted my channel to do. Oh Shirley I was the same before I did mine, I had some size 8 lol, as if I’d ever get in those…I used to live by the “just in case” but now I give myself a talking to, JUST IN CASE WHAT LYNN ??? Haha 🤣 they are a bit soggy Shirley, I just let them defrost overnight, drain hem off in a sieve with some kitchen towel, and I find they are ok, I wouldn’t use them raw, like in a salad, but to cook with absolutely fine. Your very kind Shirley, happy Sunday ❤️🥰❤️
Wow Lynn don’t know how I missed this one but wow loved your meal prep. I’m the same as you just get going and do it. I loved everything you did and especially the easy yoghurt no messing and wow, what a saving. I have yoghurt every morning so that, method seems the easiest to me Thanks Lynn take care. Love your videos ❤
Oh I love a meal, prep day, I feel so good when I know I’ve got pull out meals in the freezer. Oh yes you must try it Pam, it’s so nice and cheap, I would say to choose a starter yoghurt that you really like, because that’s what your yoghurt will taste like ❤️🌹❤️
Brilliant video! Thanks Lynn ❤
Glad you enjoyed it Ann ❤️🌹❤️
A lovely vlog Lynn ❤️
Thank you Ann 💐🌹❤️
I must say a massive thank you to you Lynn as I have successfully made my own yogurt 👏. I couldn’t have done it without this video, so thank you very much. I must say I went to bed last night and thought to myself “ I don’t think it’s going to work for some reason” but it it did 👏👏 I feel over the moon lol. I ran into the lounge at 7.45am to my husband and said rather loudly “ I’ve made it, I’ve made my own yogurt”. He was having his coffee and said “ oh not so loud”, I said “I feel like shouting it from the roof tops”😂😂. He thinks I’ve gone mad! Xx
Oh I’m so pleased Sandra, I’m going to do a happy dance around the kitchen lol. I don’t think you’ll ever buy it again, well except for the starter, it’s so rewarding isn’t it, I never get tired of looking in the morning to see if it’s worked haha I lift that lid, and peep, like that makes a difference. I do get why your so excited lovely lady, I can just imagine your hubbys face wondering what the heck your shouting about ❤️❤️❤️ aww ❤️❤️❤️
Great work my dear. Now you know that when I’m in Tesco next week my job is to shop like Lynn! I eat yogurt everyday so I’m starting with that. Thank you so much for all of your work involving these recipes much appreciated. I’m looking forward to part 2 very much 😊🫶🏼Carol
Hi Carol, oh hahaha you do know you’ll be leaving with an item of clothing lol 😂 you’re so welcome lovely, I like to share ideas, part 2 is on Friday ❤️
Well done Lynn, that was a great bit of batch cooking.
I do some of our favourites every now and again and I love nothing more than defrosting during the day knowing I haven’t got to cook from scratch for our evening meal😊
Thank you Alison, I know exactly how you feel, sometimes on busy days you just don’t feel like starting to cook when your tired do you. ❤️
You are brilliant love ❤️ the video can't wait for the next video lolx
Ah thank you Carole, that’s nice ❤️
Lynn I’m so impressed with how organized you are! Good job 😊I should strive to be the same , I know it makes you feel better. Love you ❤
I have to be Billie, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to devote as much time to my channel, it does take a lot of hard work and it’s time consuming, I love it and I’m not complaining in the least, it’s just busy lol, keeps me out of trouble too 🤣🌹❤️🌹and much love to you my darling ❤️🌹💐
oh my ! how busy have you been, it all looks delicious x
Very! But it keeps me out of trouble lol ❤️🌹❤️
Hi Lynn. You are like a whirling dervish in the kitchen calling all those meals on the same afternoon. I just do 1 or 2 at a time and freeze them. Like you say it is handy to have meals ready. Just started another batch of yogurt, love it. A bit of fresh fruit etc a lovely end to a meal and satisfies my sweet tooth. Take care, love Jean xx
It’s my happy place Jean, as I think your kitchen is, well other than Tesco of course lol 🤣 oh that’s made my day to hear that your making you’re yoghurt, I love mine, I put half a carton of that 10 cal jelly on as well, it really does satisfy my cravings. Much love Jean 💐🌹❤️
Really enjoyed your cooking vlog today Lynn! My mum batch cooked for years and I followed suit! So handy to pull out a healthy meal out of the freezer and not having to think about what you are going to have. 😀❤ xxx
Oh I couldn’t agree more, and if you make it yourself you know exactly what’s in it don’t you. Love it ❤️
Good morning Lynn, what a wee whirlwind you are. Lol I do that with jars or tins as well, that's old school. The smells from your kitchen must be amazing. I'm on my own so tend to just have double portions and freeze one. These look delicious 😋 definitely budget friendly and your yogurt 3 different ways was fantastic for those who don't have the cosori. You're looking fabulous and your holiday did you world of good. Love n hugs ❤❤
Hi Sandra, do you, I think I must have watched my mum do it, no waste lol. I have to admit it did smell good, makes you hungry though. I think if you live alone that’s a very good idea, it’s just as easy to make two if you’re cooking anyway. I’m addicted to my yoghurt now hahaha but it’s healthy so I’m ok with that. Thank you so much, I feel rested for sure. Much love to you 💐🌹❤️
Hi Lynn you're amazing. I live on my own and I cook daily because it relaxes me. Good job 👏 ❤
Me too😊
Love that Jane, it’s all to easy to fall into the trap of not cooking when you live alone, so I’m so glad you cook daily ❤️
Good for you Felicity ❤️
I love make ahead meals as this is just very convenient ❤
Me too, so good to just get one out of the freezer on busy days ❤️🌹❤️
I love batch cooking, thanks for the ideas x
You are so welcome Beryl ❤️
As always Lynn great content. Organisation is your middle name 😅😅
Sooo far ahead with your cooking. How lovely not to have to worry daily about what’s on the menu when it’s all just waiting in the freezer for you to choose. All looks delicious too. Thank you for sharing and giving us all these great ideas. Really enjoyed it. 🌸
Hi Jaqueline, I’ve always done it but I do it more since my shingles episode because it would have been so helpful then, and you just never know when you may be out of action for a while do you. And it’s so nice if you’re not in the mood, or you’re busy, just to pull one out in the morning, or even if someone unexpectedly arrives at tea time. Thank you lovely lady ❤️🌹❤️
Wow! It just goes to show forward planning is the answer.very reasonable for lovely meals. Doing the yogurt in the microwave is brilliant. Xx❤❤❤
Thank you June, I love to prep meals for the weeks ahead, and yes anyone can make homemade yogurt if the would like to, hob/microwave/Cosori so easy and cheap ❤️
Great thanks for sharing looking forward to next video ❤😂
Thanks Jean ❤️
Well done Lynn all of ur dinner’s looked yummy 😋 ❤
Thank you Michelle, quick and easy for busy lives ❤️
Excellent Lynn👏🏻thank you for sharing….so worth the one lot of cooking. 😊❤x
My sentiments exactly Joanne, get it all done at once lo ❤️🌹❤️
🤣🤣🤣🤣 that music that played when you were bagging up your chilli made me laugh, I love this video, you made it look easy and of course I am now going to have a go myself. I like all the meals you made and freezing them flat saves loads of space. Thanks for another lovely video, so, have a cuppa, put your feet up, and have a well earned rest!!! Bye for now, love Sandra. X
I love it when I hear that you’re going to try it for yourself, it really makes my day. I’m having a cuppa now as I reply to some comments, thank you Sandra, much love 💐🌹❤️
Interesting & motivational batch cooking video Lynn for us - thanks 👍 , food looks delicious. I like to plan ahead with meals as makes life easier, even though like you I’m retired 😊 I’m following your ideas with recipes 😋. You explain it so easily & yes addictive to watch whatever you do. Appreciate all your hard work. See you on the next one Lovely Lynn - Love Jane 💐💝
It feels good to know that you have a few meals to choose from already prepared and cooked ready to pull out of the freezer doesn’t it. That’s so very nice of you to say so Jane. Fingers crossed my love 🌹❤️🌹
Hi Lynn, great idea to prepare ahead if you have a busy week. Always a pain to have to start thinking about food if you are busy doing other things. I wish I could be that organised. White T shirt looks lovely and fresh. Missed the bow haha but it does not change your cooking skills. ❤ Lovely video to watch, certainly gives me inspiration. Really mastered yoghurt making. Thank you for sharing and we will await the next. Xx❤❤
Hi Tina, oh there’s nothing worse is there, if you come home after a busy day and you have to start thinking about what to make for tea, and I don’t know about your hubby, but when I ask mine what he fancies, it’s always the same answer, “I don’t know, what do you fancy” drives you bonkers lol 😂 aw I did think about the pinny and the bow, sometimes I just get started and I lose myself in what I’m doing lol xx see you on the next one lovely 🌹❤️🌹
That yoghurt looks so good, and really easy in the microwave. I'm going to get myself a thermometer and have a go. And I would never have thought you could put stir fry in the freezer!! Love watching you in your kitchen xx
Oh I hope you do Debs, it’s so nice when you make your own, someone said you can’t because it’s soft when you take it out, but I don’t mind it like that, if you like yours crunchy I would t do it, eat it for your tea instead lol 😂❤️
Lovely as usual❤❤❤xxx
Thank you! 😊 ❤️❤️❤️
Morning Lynn it all looked yummy 😋 thankyou for sharing have a lovely day lots of love Lynn 💞😘 xxx
They do say that only woman are good at multi tasking and you are living proof!! We!l done. ❤❤
Afternoon Coral, I hope you have a lovely day as well lovely lady ❤️🌹💐
@@Nanna-M thankyou Lynn much love 🥰❤️😘
I make my yoghurt In a easiyo yoghurt maker. I use some of the yoghurt I already have and dried milk and leave it for 15-20hours. You have getting my back into using it again so thank you ❤❤❤
Oh that’s brilliant Susan, I’ve never had one of those, and I do enjoy making my own, love it ❤️
Interesting. Thank you ❤
Thank you Wanda ❤️🌹❤️
Great video again Lyn. Watching you is getting a bit addictive😮😅❤
Well I hope it stays that way Rosemary haha ❤️🌹💐
@@Nanna-M as i said..addicted 🤭❤
Enjoyed watching you batch cook Lynn, everything looks tasty. Jim and I eat different meals a lot but I am going to do the same, his and hers. Loved your Tesco Towel, I have the same 😂❤
That’s a good idea Jean, his and hers lol, that sounds perfect x Oh hahaha there’s not much that doesn’t come from Tesco in here Jean 🌹❤️🌹🥰
Hi Lynn what a beaut video. Those meals looked delicious, l make a few ahead and it does help. The yogurt looked really good worked well in the microwave. You are an expert in the kitchen Lynn well done. Have a great day Much love.❤❤
The kitchen is my favourite place to be apart from Tesco Marilyn hahaha so it’s a happy day for me to cook ahead, and also obviously frees time up as well for other days to shop shop shop or film for my channel. Much love back to you ❤️🌹❤️
You always make me feel hungry after watching your cooking
Oooops haha 🤣
Amazing video Lynn! You do work hard for us and I certainly appreciate all the effort you make. You’ve given me lots of ideas. You need to make yourself a cuppa and put your feet up now ❤x
Ah thank you Rosemary, I’m glad you got some inspiration, and I’m replying here with my feet up lol ❤️🌹❤️
You are fabulous Lynn and so talented being able to multi task, cook, organise, plan in advance (your shopping and your meals), prepare everything, clean as you go and you even video it all for us.
Wow!! I’m impressed. And you take it all in your stride with your lovely relaxed manner, chatting along all the way. The microwave method for making yoghurt is my favourite method so I’ll try that. How long does it keep in the fridge?
I might just do exactly what you’ve done with a variation on the chilli recipe. I missed some of the ingredients for your version on fast speed but I have my own recipe anyway. More of these ideas would be great. 👏🏻👏🏻😀😋🥰 xxx
Oh Carole, you are too kind, I just plod till I’m finished and this new kitchen of mine has to stay tidy because as you see it’s open plan, so if anyone ever calls they can see right through, and of course I’m retired so I can spend all day if I need to, but thank you, you’re very kind. As for the yoghurt, I make 2 pints, and I eat it every day, so mines never in the fridge for longer than 1.5 weeks, and it’s still fine, so I don’t really know about longer than that. If you don’t eat every day you could do a pint at a time and try that first. The chilli was just, mince beef, tin of tomatoes, tin of kidney beans, jar chilli sauce, and a pkt of chilli con carne powder mix, easy peasy. Part 2 is on Friday, much love Carole 🌹❤️❤️
Thank you Lynn for all your tips and answers and the ingredients for the chilli. Very generous of you to give of your time. I’ll take a leaf out of your book. You’re very motivating and inspiring. Lots of love xxx 💕💕@@Nanna-M
hello Lynn. Delicious looking meals I like to do that too.make meals ahead so I just have take it out heat and enjoy. I did that with pork roast and potatoes..
I’m thinking of doing like a veg cook and freeze day, I believe roast potatoes are good ❤️❤️❤️
Lynn you are a lovely calm cook and keep calm with all the plates spinning. That was a lot of meals to keep your eye on. I would love to be able to do that and your kitchen is tidy at the same time. You wouldn’t remember Mr Pastry but I’m like him in the kitchen untidy 😂😂 😣xx
I haven’t always been this way Irene, oh my kitchen used to look like a bomb had gone off every time I cooked, and worse if I was baking, but I’ve learned over the years hahaha and yes I do remember him, 😂🤣😅❤️🌹
Delicious Lynn. I did try your chicken chilli sizzler very nice & tasty ❤
Oh I’m glad you liked it Nancy ❤️ we love it ❤️
❤❤❤

Great video lynn made me hungry xx
Sorry! Hahaha 💐🌹❤️

Ah thank you so much Lynn, it’s such a great help 👍🏼
Good news not all the bills are going up as much - just council tax and water to come 🤞🏼
It’s a sad affair isn’t it, they give with one hand and take with the other so in the end we’re actually worse off, budget friendly meals will hopefully help young families to get by a little better 🤞❤️❤️
♥
❤️❤️❤️
Vgood video Lynn. I make my own stir fry sauce with Soy sauce, sesame ,oyster sauce, garlic and ginger.
Sounds lovely Olive, I’ve never used oyster sauce, I must try that ❤️🌹❤️
💕💕💕
❤️❤️❤️
Great cooking video Lynn 🧑🍳 looking forward to Fridays video too. I can’t get out of the habit of making family sized portions so freeze most of it as I’m on my own now and the rest goes to my boys. Take it in turns 😂 However, I’m going to do your sweet chilli chicken one and yogurt to try. See you soon lovely Lynn 💝💕💖💕
Thank you Ann, oh I bet your boys are very happy about that lol. You won’t be disappointed Ann, they are both delicious ❤️
Good morning my lovely friend. I’m sure we’re twins separated from birth. I cook the same things as you and in the same way. So funny watching you. I’ve never tried to make yogurt though. I’m not sure if you can buy live yogurt in Portugal. I will check it out. I’m waiting for the next video now. Take care. Viv xxx
Aw that’s nice Vivienne, we could have been sisters lol. I’m sure you can, it’s in the ingredients, it’ll state live cultures, it needs to be plain natural, not like a flavoured one. I hope you find some and try it, you won’t look back I can promise 🌹❤️🌹
Well done..some tasty meals there!! Have you tried freezing your yoghurt as a substitute for ice cream ?You could flavour it with fruit or vanilla.
Not yet! But I will do Dolly ❤️❤️❤️
❤🙂
❤️🌹❤️
Great video ❤ what did you used to do for your job Lynn?xx
I’ve had a few jobs, but mainly a learning disability nurse on a secure unit, and also I’ve worked with people in the community, mostly always in care one way or another ❤️
Great food prep but I would never store food in plastic certain chemicals can leach out of the plastic and in to the food Pyrex food containers with lids are much safer for your well being
Oh thank you for that Sandra, I’ll invest in some of those ❤️
Hi Lynn , going to make your yoghurt recipe in the microwave . Do you know how long it keeps in the fridge ?xx
Hi Denise, I always do 2 pints, and I eat it every day, so it never goes off, if I remember rightly when I did my first ever batch it was bigger, and I had it on the fridge nearly 2 weeks, hope that helps ❤️
I really enjoyed this Lynn. Question. What yoghurt did you put in the milk.? Thanks. ❤
Hi Veronica, I used Yeo Valley organic with live cultures…. I think it’s about 75-85p from tescos anyway, but once you’ve made your own yoghurt, you can use that yoghurt to make more, I just always forget to save some lol ❤️🥰❤️
❤👍xx
🌹❤️🌹
Fabulous Lynn, you are so organised.
I can bake but rubbish at cooking 😂😂
Can i ask could you put some of the recipes up i never remember after watching you😂.
Its my age. Xxx😂❤
Not always Annette, but I try lol
I can add the recipe if I only make one meal, but I did 5 so I’d be here all day Annette lol.
Might I make a suggestion, pause the video and write it down, or even better watch again lol 😂
Oh if I don’t write something down, there’s no chance of me remembering xxx ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you I'll try that.❤
Hi Lyn, can I ask you why you make your own yogurt please. X
I just enjoy it, it’s definitely cheaper, and I know exactly what’s in it, so it’s a win win for me, I’m just making some now, waiting for it to cool down….❤️
A great watch Lynn, what oil do you use? ❤
Hi Patricia, I use Napolina extra virgin olive oil always ❤️🌹💐
@@Nanna-M So do I. I was just wanting to know. I’m going to make the chicken stir fry and the other chicken dish with the sauce. How do you reheat them? Do you do it in the microwave or on the hob 😘
@@patriciaaldam1562 you can do it either way Patricia,- but if I do it in the microwave I never use full power, I use 600 for 3 mins, otherwise it’ll cook them more and could make the chicken tough, so 600 on mine reheats… 💐🌹❤️
I love to batch cook when possible us, women are good at multitasking arnt we.. I love your nails, Lynn do you have them done or do them yourself.. I'd love you see how or when you have them done.. xx
We certainly are Beverley, and yes I have them done every 3 weeks, my natural nails are shot at, I’ve asked my nail technician and she said no, too much pressure lol 😂 it’s a shame really cause I’d love to video it ❤️
@@Nanna-M ahh that's a shame never mind.. Tell her she does a great job xx💐
Hi Lynne ~ what chilli sauce did you use please. Also, I'm retiring at the end of July, how long have you been retired and have you any tips for not being bored please? X
Hi Janette, I use Lloyd Grosseman chilli sauce in a jar, and then I add any brand of packet mix, like old elpaso or something for an extra kick. Are your questions for a Q&A video, or would you like me to answer here in the comments, just let me know my love 🌹❤️🌹
@Nanna-M Thanks Lynne 👍 Yes you could add it to the Q&A ~ I'll be watching 😊 xx
Great prep. Were are your pans from?
I bought them at Asda, couple of years ago now xx
@Nanna-M they are really nice. Also you have mugs one has milky on it. I like them too as they are a good size
Thank you for responding

@@gabriellerochelle4367 They were a gift to me so I don’t know where they came from Gabrielle, I love to have my cappuccino in them ❤️❤️
@@Nanna-M yes thats what i was thinking xx
Microwave is SO much harder to get the temperature right. Hob is soo much easier
Only the first time Linda, if you use the same pot, same amount of milk, same temp, once you know how long it will be the same every time ❤️
How do you reheat your cooked meals afterwards. Barbara
I usually allow them to thaw completely then microwave. It depends what it is, I thaw the pizzas then air fry for about 10 mins. ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Lynne well impressed with everything you cooked and your multitasking but warming your tea in the microwave when it goes cold!!! 😢😢 have you turned American fresh brew all the way. Shame on you.😅😅❤❤
Do you not use the microwave, I use it loads, it sounds like I better stand in the corner lol ❤️❤️😂
Ooo no! Never ever freeze chicken stir fry. Only ever cook & eat straight away. The veges go all soft!
I don’t mind it like that Linda, so it’s ok for me ❤️
