Thankyou Lynn, for getting back to me, and yes you do have a twin out there, loving your videos. I know all the hard work that goes into it, especially the outfit ones, look forward to more fashion styles, blessings to you. Char
Hello twin lol, there’s a fashion one tomorrow, Next Hal and try on ❤️🥰❤️
Hi Lynn yes I loved spending the day with you and you.❤You certainly can turn your hand to almost anything!!those turnups on the trousers were spot on!!and the granola bars looked delicious 😋!!.Hope you're having a wonderful weekend 😀❤I see your getting more subscribers, you deserve them, your content in your videos are always interesting and informative you are a wonderful friend, best wishes always 😀❤❤.
Ah thank you Rosemary, I’ll always give it a try, it’s not always successful but at least I give it a go. Take after my mum. I’ve just been filming tomorrow’s video, now I’m answering comments, then I’m going to chill for the evening, going out for tea tomorrow with our daughter and her boyfriend, so yes a nice weekend. I’m over the moon Rosemary, unbelievable, and it’s lovely that you consider me a friend, as I do you ❤️❤️❤️
Enjoyed the video, Lynn. Good to watch you taking up your trousers. I know what you mean about feeling better once you’d done it, once you get the machine out, it doesn’t take very long and now you’ll be able to wear them. The granola bars look good. I make fruity flapjacks as I can’t eat nuts. See you in the next one ❤😊
Exactly Rosemary, they’ve been bugging me for ages, and i so wanted to wear them. Ooo I like the sound of those, may try and make those ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Lynn I think ‘School Friendly’ here in Canada means there are no peanuts in the granola bars, just incase any little ones have a bad reaction to peanuts, most schools here in Canada don’t allow any peanut products at all 🇨🇦
Very sensible too, don’t know why we don’t do that here, but it’s that long since my children were at school that we might do. I’ll check that out. Thank you ❤️
I was going to say the same thing about the granola bars being ‘school friendly’. In Australia the rule is -
All seeds such as sunflower seeds, sesame seeds or pepitos can be brought to school. The only items that cannot be brought to school are peanuts and tree nuts (walnuts, almonds, pecans, hazelnuts, cashews, pistachios, Brazil nuts, pine nuts, and macadamia nuts).we’re really strict here. We seem to have a very high incidence of nut allergies in children here in Australia. Yours look delicious, Lynn! 👍❤️
Hi lynn, great video as usual,my mum was a seamstresses she made a lot of our clothes in the 70s gypsey skirts, bags, dresses everything,as one of six we were always dressed lovely,i myself ended up being an overlocker, not any more lol, your granola bars look so yummy, great watch lynn, take care my lovely friend xx❤
Yes I think we come from an era where mums would make our clothes. My mum made lots for me, she crocheted me a dress once, I loved it, she made hot pants, all sorts, wedding dresses, fabulous. I’m just a basic sewer, straight lines hahaha ❤️ aw you take care to my lovely lady ❤️❤️❤️
Bars looked yummy TFS
They really are! And so nutritious 🥰❤️🥰
Looks like a tasty recipe! Thank you, Lynn! ❤
It was LM, very tasty ❤️
Hello Lynn,, WOW those granola bars look delicious. Fabulous job on the trousers..looking toward to watching you and Tina's video.
Thanks so much, they are packed with goodness, and I had a fab day with Tina ❤️❤️
Hi Lynn, when I was a young woman I used to go to night school for sewing. Used to make all my own clothes. Once married, didn't have the time, and wouldn't have the patience now. I did love it, and nobody else ever had the same dress as me. The granola bars look lovely, may give them a go. Take care, love Jean ❤❤xx
Hi Jean, aw did you really, patience is definitely required for sewing, and I know what you mean, my mum made our clothes so it was the same for me, I remember she made me a pair of purple satin hot pants with a waistcoat to match haha, oh I thought I was the bees knees, unfortunately I can only do basic stuff. They’re a bit crumbly, but I don’t mind that because they are very tasty. Have a lovely weekend, much love Jean ❤️❤️❤️
Excellent Lynn…thank you for sharing. Granola bars looked delicious! 😊❤x
My pleasure 😊 and they are, very tasty 🥰❤️🥰❤️
What a useful Video Lynn. I have 3 pair of trousers that need taking up so I need to get cracking. I have arthritis in my hands which is so blinkin painful so have to do when it’s not so bad. But you’ve given me the lush I needed to start. Thanks Lynn. Xxx
Oh I’m happy about that, you’ll be able to wear them at last, yeaaaaa happy sewing ❤️🥰❤️
Going to try the Granola .. congratulations on going over 5000 subscribers 🏆
Thank you Maria, your next, I’m thrilled to bits ❤️
Hi Lynn hope you’re well. Loved the video. Have a great weekend, much love xxx
Thank you Tracey, I hope you are too, much love back to you ❤️❤️❤️
Really enjoyable video , what I good idea doing zigzag stitch, never thought of that!! Thank you ! 🤩. Take care xxx
Hi Linda, it just helps to stop fraying, I wish I had an overlocker so much neater. ❤️❤️❤️
Hiya Lynn, enjoyed watching your days bits & bobs video & the granola bars looked yummy. I used to make a Jamie Oliver muesli with similar ingredients (minus the coconut oil of course 😂). That was also very filling & tasty. Have a great weekend & see you soon. Take care 🤗🥰😘
Hi Lynda, thank you, I enjoy filming bits and bobs. I think all the chefs have made granola or similar, so many variations out there.. have a lovely weekend ❤️❤️❤️
Hello Lynn I really enjoyed the video and I bet the granola bars tasted great and my family would love them as well.always look forward to seeing you sending lots of love 😊♥️♥️♥️xxx
Thank you Nicole, Joanne loved them, My son can’t eat nuts, but they’ve nearly all been eaten anyway hahaha ❤️❤️❤️
Always enjoy watching Lynn im hoing to try some of the granola bars yummy Take care x

Granola bars looked yummy Lynn. I will make some thnx for sharing x
They are very tasty Martine, lots of nutrition ❤️🥰❤️
Love bits and bobs video’s Lynn
You’re just so chilled and relaxed when you’re presenting.
And those bars, one word…….Yum😝
Ah thank you, I’m glad I come across that way, I’m a pretty chilled kind of person, I try not to waste my energy on things that don’t really matter, but I do like a rant now and again hahaha 🤣 Bars were delicious Alison ❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful kitchen
Thank you very much Betty ❤️🥰❤️
Great video Lynn, I have to take up all my trousers as I’m only 5ft and I do them by hand. I have a sewing machine but it rarely comes out of the case I also have my Mums old Singer electric sewing machine in the solid wood box which I learnt to sew using it when I was about 9 or 10. I’ve not made granola bars since lock down 2020 because I think we had them so often we got sick of them maybe I should make some again. I made a lemon drizzle cake and a apple and plum crumble today in the air fryer, cake is delicious, crumble for tomorrow 🤗
Hi Sandra, oh my granny had a singe sewing machine with needle, she used her feet to power it, do you remember those. I used t watch her for hours, she took sewing in, and she always made me and my sister lovely dresses. My mum learned from her, and I just picked up a little, but not much hahaha, I can make a do at simple things, but that’s where it ends. Yes I think too many and you would get fed up, but now and again, delicious. Oooooo sounds like heaven, both my favourites, plus Parkin yum ❤️❤️❤️
@@Nanna-M yes I remember the treadle machines we used them in school, I found them slow as I had used my Mums Electric one for years by then, although I did make quite a few nice dresses and we had fashion shows at the end of each term.
I used to make all my own clothes up to the 80s I even made a maxi coat at a dressmaking class I did all the tailoring on the collar. Happy days 🤗💕
@@sandrabalmer-bb5xq wow Sandra, it’s sounds like you are very accomplished, far more advanced than me ❤️🥰❤️
Great video Lynn will definitely make the granola bars xx
Wished I could sew my mum could xx I’d invest in a basic sewing machine if I thought I’d use it x
Good I think you’ll like them Shelly, do you, I’m very basic, you never know 9f you don’t try, go on , have a go ❤️❤️❤️
Another great video, tnx Lynn 👍 that’s the same way/stitch my mam taught me to turn up a hem, we were taught well 😊 the granola bars look fantastic, I think I’ll give them ago, I think my granddaughter would like them, she’s 3 like your Ida, she doesn’t like meat but she loves nuts, I think they would make a nice change 👍 weather is shocking here in ireland too, I’m listening to storm Kathleen howling outside, hope there’s no damage over night 🤞🤞take care Lynn 💕💕💕
We used to do house craft at school, we learned basic sewing, cookery etc, I’m not sure they do it anymore, but I loved it. The sewing came from watching my granny and my mum. They were fabulous, I can only do basic, but I enjoy it when I do. Aw aren’t they just he cutest little people, she’ll need a plate because they crumble quite easy, might stay together better with butter instead of coconut, not sure, but delicious either way. We’re due some sunshine aren’t we, storm Kathleen may decide to visit, I think it’s forecast ❤️❤️❤️
@@Nanna-M yea we had the same in school but we called it Home Economics, I think it’s still in schools here 🤔 awh Lynn, grandchildren are just precious, I just love my little honeybun 🥰 well we survived Kathleen 👍 a lot of customers lost electricity on the west coast though 😏 I look forward to the next video 💕💕💕💕
@@FionaODonoghue yes it could be, I’ll find out what’s what when my little one goes to school. I think Kathleennpassed us by, we’ve had some rain and wind, but no storm thankfully ❤️🥰❤️
Great video Lynn I’m on holiday in Scotland but still had to tune into your video lol ❤️xx
Happy holidays! So glad you popped in haha nice to see you, and I hope you have a wonderful time ❤️❤️❤️
I used to love making my own clothes ,I just need more money and space to start again. The granola bars looked so tasty.x.
Well I hope you manage to sew again at some point, it’s nice to do the things you love, 🤞you get the funds and space ❤️❤️❤️
Love these types of videos!❤
Glad you like them Deborah ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Lynn you're a woman of many talents. I do all my stitching by hand like my mum taught me, job well done. Those granola bars looked delicious and will definitely give them a go. They're quite filling and a lot healthier than shop bought. Thankfully no snow here yet Lynn, probably higher up. Been torrential rain non stop, would sicken your happiness. Have a lovely weekend and thanks as always for the great content you put out, always much appreciated. Love n hugs ❤❤❤
Well I wouldn’t say talent, lol, I get by learning from watching my mum and grandma, they were fabulous. Very filling, and I’m sure Anna said that you can freeze them, I’m not sure I would though, I’ll just eat them hahaha ❤️ oh it keeps raining here, you don’t know if you’re coming or going. Same to you Sandra, much love to you ❤️❤️❤️
Looks like a tasty granola 🥳
It’s very nice, chewy yum ❤️❤️
I’ll definitely have a go of the bars they look delicious. I make something similar using the same things as you , but it’s with 5 weetabix instead of oats. And I put desiccated Coconut in. You blend the weetabix ,dates and some cocoa powder with the honey and coconut oil to a pulp then add the seeds and nuts like you press down very firmly . On the top melt some dark chocolate just a thin layer then put in the fridge for an hour or 2 not the oven , then cut into slices. Xx
They are Wendy, full of goodness. You bars sound nicer than mine, I might have a go at those, never thought to use weetabix, I learn things every day on here. Love it. Mine were very crumbly, I don’t mind that, but yours sound like they might stick together better. ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Lynn, another very enjoyable video. Loved the granola bars. Will definitely give them a try as I can adapt them to be gluten free. I also think petite trousers have now got ridiculously long. For years Next petite trousers were perfect for my 27 inch length but not now the case as everything is soo long and has to be shortened. Unfortunately I am not as talented as you and I'm unable to do it myself 😂
Hi Tracey, thank you. Yes you can, I never knew that oats had gluten till just recently, it’s in nearly everything. I can’t understand it at all, as if a petite leg was 31 “ ridiculous. Most of the clothes are made in China and I’ve etc to see a tall Chinese lady, so god only knows what going on in the fashion industry. It’s easy if you buy the tape that just irons on, no sewing involved. Worth thinking about ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Lynn, the granola bars look really good, thanks for another great video ❤
You are so welcome! I’m glad you liked them ❤️❤️
Lynne, you are a bits and bobs kinda girl 😂😂😂, you are also a very talented lady, you can do so many things❤
I think at 67 years , and never had lots of money, it’s been a case of having to learn to do things myself over the year’s, a little bit of this, and a little bit of that hahaha, I get by, but than you Billie, I hope you have a lovely weekend ❤️❤️❤️
Oh Lynn, lovely content again, sewing done and wearable, granola bars made and lovely chat to us. Looking forward to next video. Take care x
Thank you Milly, hope you have a lovely weekend ❤️❤️❤️
Love your bits and bobs video Lynn. I love sewing, made all my dresses in the 70s. Made my two younger sisters dresses etc, hot pants when they were in fashion for their school discos etc when they were younger. Made my wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses and flower girls dress and Cumberband to match for my young nephew, nothing fancy as it was my second time wedding, changed my mind after less than two years with my first husband 😂 You have given me the incentive to sew again, not clothes but maybe a bit of crafting etc. Thinking of how far you have come since you started utube Lynn, well done, you are a joy to watch ❤❤xx
Hi Jean, oh that brought back memories for me, my mum made me and my friend the most gorgeous hot pants, mine were purple satin, oh I love them, thought I was the bees knees hahaha. Aren’t you talented, I can only sew basic, my mum could anything like you, she was always sat at the sewing machine, or doing some kind of craft. Oh yes, do some crafts, get your creative side going, I love crafting when I have time lol. Don’t know where the time goes these days. Much love Jean, have a fab weekend ❤️❤️❤️ and thank you so much, I’m really enjoying myself, who knew ❤️❤️❤️
Ahhh Thanku lovely ❤❤xxx
Thank you, hope you have a lovely weekend ❤️❤️❤️
So healthy lovely home made granola bars, i have all those ingredients but i usually put them on my cereals have to try that, good job done with the trousers ❤
Definite worth a try if you like the granola bars, so tasty, and you know what’s in them when you make yourself. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
I enjoyed watching you sew. I used to have a go on my nanas when I was little .the old singers. Have a lovley weekend. X
Oh I remember my grandma having a§ singer, she had to treadle it to make it run lol, awww we don’t know how lucky we are do we, just plug in and off you go ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Lynn for a lovely video. I cannot believe I have been sewing for many years but always kept the pins in when taking up trousers etc so lost many a pin or caught myself so thank you for this simple but great tip. You are so accomplished in both your cooking and homemaking skills so many thanks for sharing. 👏🌺🌸💐🤗 June
Hi June, it comes from my mum, she always said, pin, tack, then sew lol and so I do. I know a lot of people take the short cut, I just find it so much easier to tack first. I just enjoy it so much, I love being a mum, and nanna now, and I love my home, I’m not much of a socialiser as I’ve got older, I used to be, but not now, I like to be at home, or in Tesco hahaha 🤣❤️❤️❤️
Watching this on a Friday night having a drink at the moment it's dry here in my part of the north east of England may try the granola bar have a great weekend I am going to the football tomorrow 🤞 that I see a win not very hopeful
Oh I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you Susan, hope it stays dry for the football, have a fab weekend ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Lynn beaut video, like other ladies in the comments, l have done a lot of sewing, l used to make my 3 children's clothes for quite a few years. I don't do much now, l gave my sewing machine away. Those granola bars do look very yummy and very nutritious. Thanks Lynn for showing us how to make them. The weather for the next week here is rain. Take care Much love.❤❤
Have you Marilyn, aw did you, do you not miss it, I only sew now and again, but I’ll be keeping mine just in case lol. 😂 they are yummy, not sure how many calories, but at least they are healthy ones haha 😛 I think it’s the same here, we’re expecting storm Kathleen at some point, hope she’s kind to us, much love to you ❤️❤️❤️
Lyn, I had a rest in bed this afternoon and enjoyed binge watching your brill videos x
Oh wonderful Joan, I hope you enjoyed your rest, I should do that now and again. ❤️🥰❤️
Hi Lynn loved your bits and bobs video most of the time I have to take up my trousers as well the joys of being 5ft 3 your granola bars look delicious and healthy will definitely be making them soon . Can’t wait for the weather to get better the dull and wet days are so depressing but we have u Lynn to brighten up our day and cheer us up . Hope u have a lovely weekend 😊
Oh it’s just a mystery to me why they can’t just do different leg lengths, it would save all that returning items wouldn’t it, as not everyone can alter things. The granola bars are very nutritious, not sure how many calories, but at least they are healthy ones lol. Aw the sun will come eventually Eileen, the rain is good for the gardens 💐💐💐😊❤️❤️❤️ and ducks lol 🐣
Trouser length is a nightmare these days. Yesterday I picked up my order of three pairs of jeans from M&S. The short, which is the length I’ve been wearing was too short. All 3 going back. Been looking at the wide leg ones, but not sure. I always used to buy regular length but somehow my legs have got shorter. Don’t own a sewing machine, so taking up trousers not so easy. It’s sunny here in Northamptonshire, I’m off out in the garden. Have a good weekend Lynn. X❤
What’s going on Chrissie, the fashion industry has gone crazy, I mean where has there ever been a petite lady with a 31” leg, honestly, and then you get pants too short, it’s a mystery to me. You could try wonder web, just iron on, if you can be bothered of course, but we shouldn’t have to alter anything, why they don’t just do different leg lengths is beyond me. Ooooo lovely, enjoy and same to you ❤️❤️❤️💐💐💐
Hi Lynn, your a woman after my own heart 😅 I love anything with oats and nuts 😋 great job, will definitely be making this 😊❤
Please do because they are so good, full of nutrition ❤️🥰❤️
@Nanna-M I eat these things all the time, I even make my own granola to eat with yogurt 😋
Just love watching you all the thing's you get up to I've been down this week because my 17years old king Charles spaniel passed away And I've been heart broken 💔 And you definitely pulled me up thank you and keep up the good work Take Care
Oh Jacquline, I’m so very sorry, I Can imagine how very sad you must feel, and I’m sending you a massive hug my lovely lady. So sorry 😢❤️❤️❤️
Hi Lynn!! I'm up early for no particular reason here in Virginia having a cup of coffee & watching your video!! Always enjoy your vlogs, very relaxing and informative! As I mentioned before, I love your beautiful kitchen & those granola bars look delicious!! Will definitely have a go at making those soon! Have a lovely weekend, see you next time 💕
Good morning! Val, I was up early myself, sleep has not been my friend lately. Aw it’s nice to work in that’s for sure, probably one of my favourite places to be. The granola bars are yummy if you like coconut, because you can taste it. Same to you lovely lady ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Lynn. Thank you for another great video. I always enjoy your videos and you always make me smile. Thank you for showing the sewing as I have a few things I need to sew and was going to take them to someone but you’ve shown me how to hem so that will save me money thank you Lynn. Your granola bars look delicious I must get ingredients to make them. I hope you’re escaping this storm where you are. I live in Scotland and we have got storm Kathleen it’s so windy. I’m hoping this is the last storm for a while I need summer now. Have a lovely weekend 🥰💕💕
Hi Sandra, oh I’m so happy that you will have a go at doing them yourself, so satisfying when you do. Yes they were yummy, nearly all gone now lol. I think it’s on its way, I hope it’s not too bad if it does arrive. Yes we need sunshine don’t we, waited long enough now ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Lynn your such a great house wife my mum died when I was 7 but I can remember her using her machine to make dresses for myself and my sister and neither of us are any good at 🧵.you need to teach classes.i pay my neighbour to turn trousers curtains put zips in she’s brilliant as sews for dunelm so she clever too. Xxxx❤❤❤❤ granola bars looked so yummy.❤❤
Ah thank you Karen, I try. My granny, and my mum were very talented at sewing, making clothes etc. i can only take things up, or make curtains, simple things like that, so I could never teach classes, but I do enjoy sewing now and again. Sounds like your neighbour is very talented though ❤️❤️❤️ granola was delish ❤️❤️❤️
Hi, my beautiful friend, what a fun video to watch. I can't believe how long those pants were for being a petite size. That's the whole point, isn't it, to be made shorter for shorter people? The hem came out really nice, though. You did a great job. Do you like to sew? I love making clothes from a pattern, my only problem is, I don't know how to alter the pattern to get a better fit. It's usually the top area that comes out too big. I need to work on that. I'm sure there are videos on it, I just have to do some research and see if I can find what I'm looking for. The granola bars looked sooooo good. I'm going to give it a try. It looks simpler than the one I used to use. My, my these interruptions. You must put a sign on your door letting people know that taping is in progress, to come back later. If they want an autograph, they'll just have to get in touch with your manager, and they can mail one out to them. 😂😂 I hope you are doing well. How have you been feeling? You have been through the wringer with your health lately. I feel so bad for you. But here you are looking so fresh and put together. I guess it's true, the show must go on. I'm so glad you stepped out and started doing videos. I never would have gotten to meet my twin. You have a great day, my sweet Lynn. Hope your weekend goes well. Love & hugs to you. Donna. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Hello my beautiful ballerina, I have two beautiful ballerinas now 🩰🩰 it’s always lovely to see you. I don’t know what’s going on in the fashion industry these days, seriously, who thinks a petite lady has 31” legs honestly, have they changed the meaning of petite, and didn’t tell me ? And 99% of clothes are made in China, and Chinese people are tiny, the world has lost the plot. I can sew basic things, but nothing complicated, I prefer straight lines lol, so cushions, pillows, curtains and such like. I’m guessing you are a very talented, and accomplished machinist, as was my other beautiful ballerina, she could make aching, even wedding dresses. Noooooo not me lol. I’m thinking it must be difficult to get petite patterns….but as you say, there will be tutorials on RUclips I’m sure. The granola bars were delicious, a bit crumbly, but I don’t mind that. Can you believe it, how rude, calling when I’m filming hahahaha ❤️ you could be my manager hahaha I’m still going dizzy, still irregular heart rhythms etc, but I got a message from the gp surgery, my appointment for the 11th is cancelled, but then gave me a tel appointment with a locum on Monday 8th April, so I don’t get to speak to my GP that’s known me for years, it will be a stranger, having said that they might be very good, so fingers crossed 🤞 I get referred back for the tests. NHS is broken. Do you know Donna, start g this RUclips channel has given me a new lease of life, I absolutely love it, and I met you too, my twin from another country, that’s enough in itself my lovely friend. I hope you have a lovely weekend, and you get to do your crafts, and relax, much love as always my darling, speak soon and take care ❤️❤️❤️❤️
❤
❤️❤️❤️
I enjoy all your videos Lynn thank you for sharing....keep well 😊❤
Thank you so much Eileen, so nice of you ❤️❤️
The granola bars look delicious 😊
So good! Xx
They look right up my street Lynn….yum yum. Have to give those a try.
Trousers look like a very professional job….another 2pairs you can wear.
Thanks for sharing and god bless 🌸
They are so tasty, and I like that you can change the nuts and fruit to your liking. Yes, 2 more pairs to style, love it lol. Thanks for watching ❤️❤️❤️
They looked delicious I like Anna Holson love watching her she is a Master Baker . It's nice doing a bits & bobs day . The rains not letting off this weekend Lynn storm Kathleen is on it's way 🌹🐈 Xxxx
She makes everything look so easy, I don’t now how she stays so slim, all that cake 🍰 I hope Kathleen’s kind to us all…..🫣❤️❤️❤️
@@Nanna-M 😂
Hi Lynn they look lovely I have enjoyed watching you make them granola bars ❤
Thanks so much Alana 😊 glad you enjoyed it ❤️❤️❤️
Thankyou for the granola bars will definitely be having ago, they look very tasty.I have turned a couple of pairs of trousers up a couple of days ago,had them for a while so needed to be done now ready to be ironed with a few other things,a job I am not keen on as it is never ending and cannot put it off any more.Take care,c u next time 🌹💐❤️
Yes they’re quite tasty, and full of goodness. Oh June, I don’t like ironing, I try my best not to, I won’t buy anything anymore that will crease lol. I’ll be glad when I can dry my washing outside, that seems to help a lot. Happy ironing 🫣❤️❤️❤️
In Canada school friendly means no nuts in anything that goes into children’s lunches ! So as too no make any classmates who have nut allergies have a reaction!
Ah that makes sense, Anna just used seeds in her recipe, I added walnuts to mine. We should adopt that principal here in the UK. Thank you for sharing ❤️❤️❤️
A lovely vlog Lynn those granola bars look so nice x
They are Anne, very tasty ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Lynn those granola bars look delicious 😋 well done getting your pant hems done, I have a pair of 90x90 curtains I need to take up but I keep putting it off I hate sewing by hand but it does look better. Have a lovely weekend see you on your next video ❤🤗🥰
They are, very tasty indeed. I’m so glad I got them done, I find hand sewing very relaxing, my gran used to sew pennies in the hems of curtains to make them hang better. Same to you, hope the weekends a good one ❤️❤️❤️
❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
Granola bars look fab ….definitely going to give it a go…thanks for posting …loving all your.content….👍🏻
Aw thank you so much Margaret ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Lynn , the granola bars looked delicious x
They are Julie, very tasty ❤️❤️❤️
I can't sew for anything, but one day I offered to hand hem my mum's pants/trousers for her, she was so pleased, anyway, I pinned and measured and sewed my little heart out and pressed them and proudly told her to try them on, hahahahahaha... they were about 6 inches too short, LOL! Couldn't stop laughing, I was crying...like I am now... omg, she gave them to her sister who was really really short. 😁😁😁😁😁😁🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. They didn't turn out nice like yours did Lynn... xx
Oh that had me in stitches Michele, pardon the pun hahaha, I can just picture the scene, I would have cried laughing if I’d been there, my mum once offered to cut my fringe, OMG, it ended up over my eyebrows, I was mortified, all I could do was pin it back till it grew, needless to say she didn’t get a second try hahaha I cried my eyes out, refused to go to school, but I had to in the end, oh the memories ❤️❤️❤️
@@Nanna-M hahahaha!!!
Hey Lynn, Ive not touched and electric sewing machine since my sister sewed her finger to what she was making, that was enough to put me off lol, well to be honest they scare me. Those granola bars look very tasty, you're quite the kitchen goddess making yoghurt and of other goodies, have a lovely weekend tfs Jax❤x
Oh nooooo, my mum once sewed right through her nail, didn’t put her off though lol, she was a fantastic sewer. Just call me nigella hahahaha ❤️❤️ same to you Jax ❤️❤️
Love. Try maple syrupxxxx
Yes that would be an alternative ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Lynn loved the video and the granola bars look very nice ❤x
Thanks so much 😊 they really are, full of goodness ❤️❤️❤️
Because I was a 'big' teenager (5'6" and size 16 - not that big these days but considered huge in the 70s!) and couldn't get any clothes that fitted from the fashionable boutiques my mom used to make me loads of stuff - flares, cheesecloth tops, midi-dresses, long crochet cardigans etc etc. Learning dressmaking from her has been one of the most useful things ever. I've always been able to turn my hand to most minor alterations. Incidentally I'm still a size 16 at nearly 70 - my weight has hardly changed at all over the years.
Oh I envy you, I’m very basic, straight line is about the measure of my sewing skills lol, my mum was fantastic, so was my gran, but it passed me by really. I do enjoy sewing, now and again, but I’ll never make a seamstress. Oh how I wish I had a few more inches, always have, alas not meant to be. ❤️❤️❤️
Hi lyn they look nice i have to have a ecg next week as had some palpatations recently im 61 so not good plus cholesterol borderline so thinking of getting healthier so these will go down a treat stop me snacking haha 😂 xx
Hi Dawn, oh I hope all goes well with your tests, it’s not a nice feeling is it so I’m glad it’s getting looked into for you. The bars have helped me to feel full, so it’s worth a try, I’m no expert but all the ingredients seem healthy to me, maybe not the honey, so you could try a different sweetener, perhaps research it first. I mean I cut mine not 12 bars, so I suppose each bar doesn’t have too much in, either way it’s got to be better than sugary or fatty snacks ❤️❤️❤️ take care Dawn ❤️❤️❤️
the granola bars do look delicious, I do buy the bars so I will be having a go at making some . take care xx
So much cheaper, once you’ve bought the ingredient, it’ll make loads of batches, much love ❤️❤️❤️
Good evening my dear friend. I’m just watching your latest video. Just been watching Knightstrider. They had a shirt competition in Buddies bar. It was so funny. His dad is so funny. He’s a dentist. Your hair looks lovely. I’m hopeless at sewing. There is no end to your talents. Isn’t it a great feeling when you get those jobs done. Ong that’s exactly how I was taught to make a hem too. Do you have any plans for the weekend xx
Hi Vivienne, nice to see you. Oh that sounds like good fun, I could have done with him this morning, I had a dental emergency, but luckily I managed to get sorted out phew. I’m hoping to film a clothing video, and on Sunday we’re going out for a meal with my daughter and her partner, maybe a wee drink or two 😜❤️❤️❤️xx hope you have a nice weekend ❤️❤️❤️
Great vlog Lynn as usual. Granola bars looked good. My daughter makes them and brings me some, but i will have a go.Have had some heavy showers here today in the Northwest. Keep smiling. Xx😊
Hi Jean, oh isn’t it nice when someone brings you something homemade. Love that. Yes we have indeed, it doesn’t know what to do does this weather, I will 😊😊😊😊😊❤️❤️❤️
Hi Lynn love watching you so calming thise granola bars looked just like i like them Chewy and i don't like cinnamon either i always think they spoil apple crumble when its in that thankyou for sharing will try them out take care and lots of love Lynn have a wonderful weekend 🥰💖💖😘xxx
Hi Coral, I’m the same with cinnamon, it spoils it for me too. They are delicious, a bit crumbly but I don’t mind that ❤️❤️❤️
@@Nanna-M 😊💖😘
Hi Lynn, granola bare look delicious, definitely going to make them.
I take my mending to a wee shop she is fabulous but very pricey. But i cant sew and dont have a machine you make it look easy Lynn. Take care ❤
I hope you do, they are scrumptious, full of goodness. Have you not tried the iron on webbing, so easy, but if it’s not your thing best to let someone else do it ❤️❤️❤️
Now I want a granola bar🤣
Oh hahaha, make some Jackie ❤️❤️❤️
Lovely video Lynn. Good clothes upkeep ha ha. I’ve got a few pair that have been looking at me for quite a while Hate doing it . Cranial bars looked yum. Thanks for sharing and as always take care 🇦🇺
Hi Pam, I’ve been wanting to do that little job for ages, so I feel so god it’s done, you will too if you do it lol. Do you use the wonder web stuff that you iron on, people have said it’s very good. Have a lovely weekend ❤️❤️❤️
@@Nanna-M
No I do it liKe you already got them out to do tomorrow lol. You do INspire me
@@PAM-ud9lv oooo you’ll be able to wear them now Pam yea 😘 xx
Hi Lynn . The nut bars look yummy , I will have a go at those . I have to sew my clothes up by hand . 😂. But I like sewing . Thanks for the tips . 👍😘
Oh I find sewing by hand very relaxing, you just need good lighting especially with black don’t you ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Lynn. As we are same height i find i always have to take trousers up couple inches but i use the webbing you attach by pressing. Im a machinist to trade but find this easier. They sell good webbing on temu which i recently tried and it works really well. Love the granola bars. I love cinnamon but wouldn't put it in them either. See you on next one lynn x❤ Ellen
Hi Ellen, yes webbing would be so much easier wouldn’t it, do you find it stays on even after washing. I might get some to keep for next time, because there will definitely be another time 🫣🤷🏼♀️❤️❤️❤️
@Nanna-M it stays on very well. I use it on new trousers and it lasts the life of the trousers. Also I have noticed with temu some of the long sleeve tops are very wide arms so I turn them inside out and machine stitch from 3/4 of sleeve tapering down to the wrist then use the webbing to create tidy cuff. I've been using the webbing for about 30 yrs now and it doesn't let me down. The white one we buy here think it's name is invisible hemming tape but temu is a webbing which is also very good especially for cuffs and trousers hems.
@@jovilass That’s good to know Ellen ,thank you, I’ll definitely get some, and taking in the sleeves is a good tip, I’d never think of doing that, but I will now 🥰❤️🥰
Hi lynn the granola bars look yummy i made them at school for my cookery gcse and they was a disaster i put to much honey in and they was a gooey mess ha , also made butterfly cakes and put to much sugar in and they spred and ended up as one big cake it goes to say im not a baker im more of a cook ha ha x
These were very crumbly Nicola, but they are really tasty, and chewy. Oh dear hahaha poor you, what a disaster, well you can’t be good at everything, that’s what I say, stick to what you are good at hahaha have a lovey weekend ❤️❤️❤️
@@Nanna-M have a lovely wk end aswell Lynn yes I definitely stick to what im good at ha ha ❤x
Hi Lynn, I am enjoying your videos. I have to ask a question was that you years ago with the whippet dogs? I used to watch a video and she looked like you, am curious. Thankyou. Char
Hi ❤️ no that’s wasn’t me Char, I uploaded my first ever video on RUclips in July last year, and I’ve never had a whippet lol, I must have a twin somewhere. ❤️🥰❤️🥰🐕🦺🐕🦺🐕🦺🐕🦺🐕🦺
Hi Lynn. Tye granola bars look lovely, i would prefer them chewy, cant eat anything crunchy now, scared of my teeth breaking 😂😂xx❤️❤️❤️
Hi June, well these are definitely chewy, you get a bit of crunch anyway with the nuts but I suppose you still have to be careful ❤️❤️❤️
@@Nanna-M thanks Lynn xx❤️❤️❤️
Hi Lynn, another lovely vlog,Wasn’t that funny when you said pants, and that lady was afraid you were going to show you undies,I saw it on Maree’s channel. If you would like to be indulgent you could put a few chocolate chips in the granola bars, they are my favorite kind, a slightly healthier dessert.
I know hahaha I’d be scaring people with my knickers, they’re huge hahaha. Can I ask your opinion, these granola bars, will they contain a lot of calories, all be it good ones, with all the nuts and dried fruit, and honey❤️❤️❤️
@@Nanna-M Most granola bars have quite a few calories,100-300 but they have a lot of protein, fiber, and vitamins, try to cut 1and a half ounce servings.I think you should enjoy them as they are far better than most snacks, and high calorie, but nutrition poor deserts
@@JanetBrown-px2jn I thought they might have, but as you say, better than snacking on fatty and sweet deserts. I’ll watch my intake, thanks Janet ❤️🥰❤️
Love your hair and gorgeous eyes ❤
Oh thanks 😊
❤❤xx
❤️❤️❤️
I think most schools in uk have a ‘no nuts pooicy’??
I did wonder about that ❤️❤️
Have you lived in USA as Americans call trousers pants.
Enjoy all your vlogs especially clothes try ons.
No never, always lived in the UK. Someone once thought I meant knickers hahaha Try ons coming soon Maria ❤️❤️❤️
❤😊xx
❤️❤️❤️
Is there nothing you can’t do lol ❤
Hahaha, remember things lol ❤️❤️❤️
School friendly probably means not peanuts as a Loy of kids have peanut allergies. And you know how kids share. It could be deadly for some children.
It’s does Olive, some ladies from Canada have said that, makes sense really. I wonder if our schools here in the UK do the same ❤️
hi some interesting bits and bobs. I shall have a go at the granola bars but I am afraid sewing and me do not go well together!! ❤❤
Oh hahaha Valerie, best to to then, stick to the granola bars ❤️❤️❤️
I wish I could turn trousers up, I sent some lovely ones back to new look as they were too long.
The bars looked so healthy & nutritious too xx
Can you not use that tape Kim, you just iron it on. They seem to be making pants for giants these days. They are Kim, do you like cooking ? Xx
@@Nanna-M I prefer to watch people cook 😂
I have one leg slightly longer than the other so they make everything difficult to do in my eyes 🤦🏼♀️ I normally pay to get things done but it bumps the price up xx
@@findingmystyle_x do you know, I’ve been thinking lately that my right leg may be shorter than my left, how strange, maybe mines a getting older thing, or something to do with my back, who knows lol, xx
@@Nanna-M Who knows what the reasons are, you'll just have to lean over to the longer leg 😂xx
@@findingmystyle_x haha you do make me laugh 😂🤣😂 xx
