The window regulator on my 2005 Trailblazer went kaflooey, and I couldn't figure out how to get it out to at least take a look at it. This video came up on a search, and I was able to take it out very easily, thanks to Mike's expert instruction. I ordered the part on your web site, which was also a smooth, quick, and painless process. Thank you so much for making this possible. You now have another loyal customer.
Thank you! I am sitting here after R&R passenger window regulator, I am grateful for your excellent video and replacement part. It took me less than 30min from start to finish to complete this job, thanks to your video and the proper fitment of replacement parts.
Thank you. I bought your regulator and window and other than the guy before me screwing it up it went great. I really appreciate your doing these video's for all the guys that can't really afford to have it replaced by a shop. You guys are the best and I will always use your parts because of your commitment to helping the little guy. Most shops wouldn't do this because they want to charge high prices to do this even though if you know the tricks it is really easy. Thanks again, Tony Wesley
Thank you so much for the video, thankful for people like you who are willing to show these videos to help people do it them selves and save money. Replaced my wifes and she is so proud of me...
Will do, once i diagnose whether it's the switch or regulator. Driver side controls don't work at all, all passenger controls work fine!! This causes major problems when using drive-thru's.....GEEZ!!
I watch a lot of your videos just to learn more about automobiles, I want to thank you for the time you put in, you help more people than you no. People need more kind of things like this. There are many bad, rip off lying no good people in this world...... Thank you for helping others.. If and when I need a part I will buy from you..... This is your job from God helping others who don't have a lot of money and the no how... Great work brother.. Bad guys don't like you, hope that doesn't bthryou
Thank you so much for the info. Before I made the cut. I took the switch from the other side and placed it on that side and come to find out I had a bad switch! I am girly girl and you guys made the video so simple, I was able to do it ALL on my own. By the way I did take the whole regulator out before switching the switch. Thanks Again!!
@13german Also if the weatherstrip around the window is dried out, it will slow the window down wether the motor is new or old. If you spray some silicone spray on the weatherstrip it will help the window to go up and down faster too. Hope this helps you out.
Just ordered my window regulator from you. I ordered it because you offer a good price, but mostly as a thank you for the videos that have been very helpful.
😄 Excellent video and the parts fits correctly and most importantly... it works like it should. I watch the video before I removed the hardware and again just before I installed the new regulator.
You may want to look to see if there's power to the window regulator. If the window doesn't work it could be caused by many different things. It could be a blown fuse, broken wire in the wire harness, bad window switch. or the regulator may be bad. You may want to test the power to the window motor with a test light to see if there's power going to it. Hope this helps you out.

Great video. Followed step by step and done in about 45 min. Did this on 2008 Trailblazer. The only thing i noted was that the left side clamp was not able to clamp more than .25" of window. Right side was 100%.

Excellent video. Thank you, I have used your products numerous times and have had a very good experience every time. Most recently I purchased a window motor for my '04 Buick Rainier. Upon installing it, the window did not go up any faster than before (it actually lagged so much it got stuck). This video allowed me to remove the regulator assembly easily (a daunting task before viewing this) and lubricate the assembly with Dry Film Lubricant. Works like new. Thanks again.
Thanks for producing these videos. Very helpful. I just purchased the regulator. Good prices, acually it was slightly more expensive than another site but bought from you because of free shipping and the video. Thanks again and keep the videos coming!

@Ashley W You may want to remove the door panel so you can take a look inside the door to see if the window regulator has broken. We carry new ones on our website with free shipping if you need to replace yours.
They are pretty decent if you keep your window down while you are driving and live in an area where it rains a lot. It helps keep all the water from going down inside the door panel.
You will want to open up the door panel and cut the cables on the window regulator. This will drop the window all the way down but it will also allow you to push it up all the way to the top and then allow you to prop it up internally with something.
Your video was so on point I did this first try without any issues! The four screws that hold the window regulator in two are smaller 2 or longer I put the shorter ones on the bottom side it worked out thank you for the very detailed and helpful video

+Jenuelrg Thank you for your feedback! At this time we do not have a video showing the installation but we are always expanding our video library! We have some dealing with seat belts and GMC's which will be a similar process.
Great Video very helpful... my drivers side window is down and wont go back up I here a humming sound though so Im pretty sure the power button is working and the motor is working but it wont roll up??? Please help...
Without actually testing the connections for power, you are only guessing at what the problem could be. Your best bet would be to open up the door panel and check for 12 volts going to the motor when the switch is activated.
No, but you may want to check the wire harness that runs between the drivers side door and body of the truck for a broke or frayed wire that may be causing this issue. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
Pay attention when disassembling, and you won't be asking this question. This really gets to me. This company did an excellent video that will enable the majority of people to complete this task, but that's not enough for you. You apparently want someone to do the job for you, well bring it to a shop, a minimum of 150$/hr someone will. This video saved many people at least the 150$ minimum charge.
Thanks for the video, checked it out and the cable snapped. Can't seem to get the window to dettach from the regulator even after loosening the nuts Any suggestions? Don't want to attempt repair until I have this figured out.
Part on ebay 1 year warranty $35💪😌. By the way I didn't use tape because who has tape laying around with in reach? I used a folded piece of cardboard to hold the window up.
Recently the driver side window had developed a crack. The window glass has been replaced but after a day or so the glass will crack again. Going on its third piece of new glass free of cost. Will a regulator guide/slide failure be the cause? Unfortunately I'm not available to help my parents with the problem but they are getting very frustrated.
I've determined the motor and regulator are good and the passenger switch is getting power. Assuming the the switch is no good on the passenger side. Would a bad switch on the passenger side cause the button on the driver side not to work for the passenger window?
The motor doesn't look like it's serviceable on that application. We carry the complete window regulators with the motor on our website 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

My Dad has an 02 trailblazer and his passenger window wont work could this be the problem and is it the same steps for the drivers side and the passenger side?
I have an 05 EXT Trailblazer and my front passenger window will not go up or down. Button does not work on the driver's side nor the passenger side. Would this be a switch problem or is the motor gone?
Ok my problem is my window will roll down, but will not roll back up. Is there anything I can do to get it up until I order the part? Still need to drive my car but don't want it stolen or things taken out of it.
