I’m 44 and was skinny till I turned 35, then things started shifting. After years of infertility and failed IVF I’ve gained almost 30 lbs. Been active most my live was a professional dancer/performer for almost 2 decades but was instructed to stop working out if I wanted to get pregnant. So now I’m holding the worst kind of fat=all in the belly. Been trying to loose weight and it seems impossible at this age. Watching this video, I realized I’m not eating enough food. I eat well but treat myself to pizza once and awhile. I’m vegetarian so grateful for your vegan options.

I love these and I have most of the grocery items at home. I am 114 pounds and just want to build up some muscle. I am rural and a long way from a gym, but I have lifted free weights for a long time. I don't know why we weigh the food on the scale? Thanks for your inspiration. I think you are beautiful inside and out and I am really learning from your teaching. Have a blessed day.

I was told fat free and low fat products have added sugar so to avoid those but I see you are ok w them. I usually make my own healthy version of ice cream but will definitely try HALO. Excited to try your recipes. Loving your channel
I like how you mix it up ,not always vegan. I am 60 and looking to improve my health & fitness. I would love to see some more meal planning. I eat mostly plant based; but recently started added some fish , Greek yogurt and a couple eggs a week trying to get my protein up. Also trying to eat some healthy fats , avocado, hemp, flax and walnuts & some olive oil .Which I probably should cut back on as I am over weight and wanting to loose. I would love to be a fit and beautiful as you , but I know it takes a lot of time and effort. Maybe some tips on how to get started .❣🙏

When using beans, do you need to be concerned about the amount of carbohydrates as well? I am allergic to eggs and soy and am always on the lookout for protein sources other than meats because I do not like meat that much, but have always been worried about the amount of carbs in beans and lentils.
I appreciate this so much you have no idea… So as we try to change things up here how do you know how much protein you’re supposed to eat at each meal you seem to be measuring out 150 g of tofu do we measure it by grams or do we supposed to get, a certain amount of grams of protein… I guess short question is how do we go about measuring our protein with the scale?

Honestly I don't find the food I eat disgusting or tasteless. And fat is still needed in your diet. Just go for good fats like salmon, avocado, olive oil and nuts.
