It has been a good mount. I truly love the feeling I get each time I can tick of a box and to see the progress little by little. Glad you like this kind of format because it has to be this or nothing. 😊👍
Looks like you may have a lot of old stone drains , its going to take time to find and expose them , you have to watch for them putting up , ie wet spots once have them identified it will be easier to deal with them , late spring when the weather dries up is the time for this in winter its fire fighting. It all takes time your a young couple so you will get there .
Love your videos, never stop please. I'm thinking to buy a farm in Sweden soon and your channel is the closest thing to my dream 😅 love it. Thnx for the countless hours putting into this.
Thanks. I thing I have found a balance with one video per mount that I can live with. It feels great to have put the focus back on my farm and the family. 😊👍
Thanks. I thing this way of making videos tips the balance back into the farms favor and it felt a lot better. I finally got to do many thing that has been on my mind for years. 🤠
Wow ! That was a lot of back braking work with a shovel " Good spring for garden water & hopefully better crops this year, I'm sure your hard work will pay off ! Your new tractor works great with the blade "
Yeas it was.😂 I thing in hindsight I would have used the tractor digger. It would have done the job in an hour. It is so easy to underestimate how much time a job like that takes.
Yes i seen the attachment in the background , I was going to ask but it did look pretty wet so i thought that was why you didn't use it :) I have use a shovel to do that a time or two "@@Norwegianfarmlife
Only just found you! That’s some very waterlogged ground! That really is back breaking work, I’m not in the least bit surprised your back is still complaining. Let’s hope you see some dry conditions to really support the work you have done. Like this format of updating us as to what’s going on with all parts of the farm.❤
Thanks, farms for sale pop up everywhere and if you are willing to put in some work there are always possible to get abandoned farms for affordable prices. Don’t give up. 👍🤠
Switching to this kinda format is better in my opinion. Spend more time on the farm then editing etc. I am considering to start a småbruk myself in the near future so these videos help alot, especially when you also show the negatives so i can learn from that. Takk skal dåke ha!
Great to see the new video. I was thinking about your channel the other day..... Have a good, fresh start into 2024. Please focus on farm and family, in the end, your production quality will prevail. Other well-known creators as MarkRober or technology Connections publish only one piece per month.
Thanks, i think once a month is as much as I can do without it affecting the farm or my family. Let’s just say that it has been a lot easier to cross things of the list these last two months. 🤠👍
Glad to see you're still carrying on! About 2 months ago you were considering using Patreon, or some way to allow your friends to contribute to your cause of independent farming. Have you chosen a venue yet? I for one would like to help in some way; I already am subscribed and view and comment on your videos, but would be glad to contribute in a more effective way, and not just in return for more content; you have already committed to focusing more on the farm, which I think is wise.
Thanks.😊 I was considering making extra content on RUclips members area or Patreon but only of enough people would use it so that I could scale down my “day job”. At that time, I was already making more videos than I had time for and it affected my farm and family negatively. Based on the pole I ran I would maybe get around 10 people that was willing to pay 5$ per month and that would not have been enough. 50$ is not enough for me to scale down my income so I let it go. For people that just want to give something back without getting something extra in return there are already a button on the videos that is called super thanks where that person could donate an amount of there causing. 👍
I've looked into it, and honestly I didn't realize RUclips keeps 30% of whatever one gives! That is not acceptable to me. What about Amazon? I support a farm here in the U.S. by sending them gift cards and actual items through Amazon. You have to set it up though, and I don't know if you can receive items from Amazon, unless you are able to set up an account with them. It's quite popular here, and we've been able to help many folks through them.@@Norwegianfarmlife
For now, most of my land where I can get logs are unreachable by tractor so I don’t have any means of collecting them. I do have a plan to fix that but I don’t know when. 😁
Thanks, and good to have you back.😊 I was thinking of using NFL in a logo but those that like sports know that it is already taken.😂 I think I don’t have enough viewers for live. I could do a Q%A but I would need to get some more questions. Maby I will do one in the future. We will see. 🤔
The same thing is happening in Russia now because of isolation. farmers buy up old Soviet tractors from the Soviet era for about 1 - 2k$ and repair them with their own hands.
Pr dag?
I think norwiegean winter more like freezing cold and 2 month stuck at home. They should be glad for global warming kkkkkkk here on brazil february was Hot as hell, but fall a lot of Rain,
Thanks for your comment. It is always useful to get an outside perspective it is easy to get kind of blind after working so much with the same things.😊👍
This can be good. Just avoid the typical trap some norwegian farmers go in; go borrowing 1 million NOK to get a fancy Fendt tractor to transport hay to their 22 sheep. Then complain 'salary for farmers are WAY too low!' Just use common sense, lot's of older tractors and equipment out there that are more than good enough
This is a wonderful documentary
I love this month update format, it looks like it's a lot of work, but it's very enjoyable to watch, make more of these!
It has been a good mount. I truly love the feeling I get each time I can tick of a box and to see the progress little by little. Glad you like this kind of format because it has to be this or nothing. 😊👍
10:35 my gran would always say "buy cheap, buy twice". It's still as true today as it ever was.
You would make a great politician - "ladies and gentlemen, I am here to drain the swamp."

@Norwegianfarmlife you got your priorities right 👍
Good progress considering the time of year. We'll done! Great video, looking forward to the next one.

You sure are a hard worker, Erik!
Quite a lot done this month! Looking forward to seeing this years harvest
I thing scaling down the videos and scaling up the farm was the right thing to do.🤠👍

Norwegian Farm great working ❤❤❤💯
It looks like a practical solution !
I was going to ask how you planned to control erosion, but you already thought about that.
Thank you.
Takk!
Takker😊👍
Really grateful for continuing videos!
Glad you like them!🤠
Give it your all, you're definitely good, Greetings from Alversund 🙂
Thanks 🤠👍
Norway is on my bucket list for sure. It looks beautiful there. Thank you for sharing

nice farm, would've loved to have one, now it's impossible ¡Keep up the good content!

If you plow the snow in reverse it won’t build up underneath. Also angle the blade to one side

@@Norwegianfarmlife Oh I hadn't seen that, or didn't understand what I'd seen. I'll look into it. Greetings to your lovely wife and family!

Way too go in the mud, that was hard work digging. I guess you did not hear me yelling at you to turn the gas on. Take care
looks like hobby farming... never work before....
The new tractor is really cool, nice upgrade. Is there any logging videos coming? You mentioned it when you rebuilt the stihl chainsaw.
For now, most of my land where I can get logs are unreachable by tractor so I don’t have any means of collecting them. I do have a plan to fix that but I don’t know when. 😁
veldig bra video! Glad for å se på NFL:) Very cool that the sheep fence is getting an upgrade. Do you ever do livestreams or Q&As?
Thanks, and good to have you back.😊 I was thinking of using NFL in a logo but those that like sports know that it is already taken.😂 I think I don’t have enough viewers for live. I could do a Q%A but I would need to get some more questions. Maby I will do one in the future. We will see. 🤔
congratulations on 34k views!!!!!
nice Bucher M200 made by Bucher-Guyer Maschinenfabrik in Niederweningen Switzerland
Who needs a gym when you have a farm.
The same thing is happening in Russia now because of isolation. farmers buy up old Soviet tractors from the Soviet era for about 1 - 2k$ and repair them with their own hands.
ô . very good .
You should post in 4K!
👍👍👍

👏👏👏👏🇧🇷
Musikken er ok... Men fuglesangen er mye bedre ‼️
If you're on a hobby farm get a truck, new farm tractor and never mind your out dated one's that brake down

Apakah disana musim salju sepanjang tahun.salam hangat
Grov pokk under og over og drens rør
Takk for tipset 👍
Also wanna point out it’s alot better without all the random ‘’stock’’ footage edited in, much more ‘’natural’’/raw and fun to watch :)
