I just had a 2023 Challenger GT v6 as a rental car for one week. I drove it from BG Ohio, through Soo Locks, Sudbury, ON, Toronto, hit a few laps on a dirt oval in Ithaca, NY, then Watkins Glen road course. Back in Ohio today after 2,100 miles. All my camping gear, stayed in some hotels, averaged 25mpg. Nav to my iPhone was decent, Alpine sound was nice. I beat the piss outta that car. It was dog dick red, no tickets. Got back to my hometown today, and it was completely brown. I returned it to the rental co. today. I have no complaints. I did road to Hana in Maui last year in a 2021 Camaro convertible in 2021. I like the challenger better. Seats were great! I drove 12 hours straight on my 2nd day. 3 gas stops. I’m 6’-0” 230lbs. Seats were comfy as f**k. Visibility was nice. Ergonomically everything is where you want it. I hate v6’s, but for touring across Canada, I liked it a lot. Cruised from Sudbury to to Toronto at 100+mph with a pack of car club dudes in Camaros mustangs and vettes. Climbed mountains nice, very enjoyable touring car.

I bought a new 2023 SXT two months ago. Have spent a ton on mods already, waiting for my rims to get in stock, still two months out, new tires collecting dust. I've had two minor issues not really worth mentioning. The one thing I find annoying is how I can be in auto and it will be in like 5th gear at 35 MPH. at 50 it's in 8th. driving in manual mode will fix that but also when I'm driving uphill to the road to my house, going at 4,000 RPM when I floor it it doesn't even drop down one gear Makes it feel sluggish. overall I freakin love the car. Oh and in auto on the freeway it changes gears a lot, also annoying kinda.

good review. I rented two of these for extended periods and a 2022 Malibu. As daily driver in city Malibu very superior. #1 u menti ed seats. Very uncomfortable in this CA + unable to go back ver far. Seat belts on both constant pain. Seat maneuverability well below 2023 standards. Window goes down a ways every time u open. Computer constantly makes decisions to u that u would not make e.g. The out of gear feature where u cannot move unless u stop shift lever way car wants--then it takes 10 min to get back in gear. Around city car is a clu ker, xo wide u Co stantly worry about door scrapes in parking lots. The good--reviewe is fairly accurate--tracks well, handles well, plenty of power for non drag racers. Main problem with this it's way below standard for 2023 type comfort. Beautiful car w issues.
