I was recently in Whitehaven and that's just what it looked like without the weird multi coloured efforts in the closed down shops trying to make shite look bright. So sad to see our communities being decimated.
Just imagine what Fergal Quinn would have thought if he expected his prime store in Co Tipperary to fall into such a demise, in a relatively short time.
This is so sad😢. I'm in Cork City. Same story. Patrick's Street is gone to the dogs. Vape, sports, phone ,Turkish barbers shops. Very few boutique stores now or family owned shops. Happening worldwide though.❤
I think adda you should go forward for the election you will most certainly get my vote coz after the snakes and they voted last night worse the ones that abstained cowardly omg freedom of speech is gone
Its apparent that our high streets need to be repurposed, times have changed. But it should be repurposed for the irish people first and foremost. Lots of scope for varioys types of accommodation, doctors surgeries, dentists surgeries, nurseries, community centres, small buisnesses, ie accountants, solicitors, coffee shops, restaurants, a few shops selling basics, , gym etc. But first and foremost it should be done for the irish 😉
People need to stop shopping online and support local businesses. I know off topic but I decided I'm no longer going to use the motorways when I want to go travel the Island on holiday, I will go on the old national routes through all the towns and villages and when I need to stop get food or petrol I will go to local businesses not the big foreign companies on the motorways. We need to bring life back to rural Ireland and the High street ! Buy local, not online. I didn't get my new Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra on line or in currys, I got it in Swans Electrical in Carlow Town where it was cheaper and cheaper than I could find it on Amazon, I get all I can from Sean Swan in Carlow Town because I like to support local business and people that built their business up from nothing and have worked in the town for decades. We need to support Irish and Ireland or more and more shops will be boarded up. The pubs are dying all across rural Ireland and in many towns like Carlow too, too many people on Netflix and Amazon streaming crap instead of having a bit of craic with mates in the local pub, don't have to spend a fortune either.
Hello, I was at Dublin Airport last monday 28/10/24. I heard that same awful racket. And yes it was super loud like electric picnic. How is that happening? Who is allowing it? What the **** is going on? We (europe) are like lambs to the slaughter meekly letting our countries and cultures disappear in favour of a barbaric medievil religion. Thats how it seems to me!
It's odd putting in planning for office space as who would be renting out office or commercial spaces if they are all commercial spaces now and are empty and actually not particularly in bad condition in a good location...so really can only be for a very specific already perdetermined niche endeavour sadly
I am Irish .But like so many many Irish I had to leave my home .But now when I go back I am saddened to see Ireland that I knew has gone .Have you been out at Dublin airport lately where people drop off and get car hire .To my shock only last Monday did I think I was in Islamabad the music blasting out like it was creamfields .My question to the people of Ireland how has this happened to us ?? .When we spent a life time fighting for our country now we are just letting Islam/ Muslim people that hate western culture and values walk all over us .WAKE UP🇨🇮
Because too many of us simply stopped caring about our history, our character, our duty to those who died before us and to those who came after We abandoned that duty and fell in love with the pleasures of life that money can give We are an empty people over these last few generations Pathetic But not all.
Ye have to fight this. Did ye ever hear of this before in Tipperary too County Palatine of Tipperary Act 1715 The County Palatine of Tipperary Act 1715 (2 Geo. 1. c. 8 (I)) is an act of the Parliament of Ireland. This act enabled the purchase by the crown of the Palatine Rights in County Tipperary given to the Earls of Ormond, later Dukes of Ormonde, over the preceding centuries. Prior to the act, the dukes appointed the sheriffs and judges of the county and owned certain revenues from the county which would otherwise have gone to the Crown.
This still could be stopped becoming what New Adda there is surmising. It's just too big a venture for an area like Clonmel. Local people will leave etc. If the people of Ireland realise its FF FG doing this, will they make the connection mentally on voting day and just vote nationalists in. We need to halt it all. Officially. The owners of these properties are living off in Switzerland etc.
@@finolaomurchu8217theres something up on gov. ie site there that Minister McEntee announces the launch of new, online, immigration self-service portal. So this is going to get way worse very fast unless we stop it.

I can think of several ideas what that space could be used for to improve Clonmel, and the people of Ireland. 😢
Absolutely
There's potential in that town
But that is all there is today

That's a considerable amount of space..I often shopped there while working in Tipperary...it was a beautiful town...in the valley....beautiful
It is happening right in front of our eyes and yet we cannot see. Very dark days ahead indeed.

What about the injunction that the Athlone councillor put in? Can that be used?
Only if the councillor wanted to and wasn’t set to gain from it
I think that applied to socalled temporary accommodations.
Tipperary has been singled out because Tipperary don’t riot!
Vote Irish freedom party next election s ☘️🇮🇪💪
Hermann. Kelly ????to do what he already WORKS IN THE EU ???
If voting worked, the public serpents would not allow it... Cheers

I wonder how long Specsavers can stay in business, they charge as much as they can for one pair of prescription glasses🤔
Yea you would wonder.
If any sort of importations are landed in that market place then they will have to move.
Scandalous way of managing things
Wonder what local Fine Gael election candidates know?
