I live in the middle of Clonmel, and I love it! I moved here for work. Nice quiet place to live and not ridiculous rent pries like Dublin, Limerick or Cork. Has all the main shops you need, and cities aren't far nor is the coast.
Was here in 2018 loved the place some great shops . Was there yesterday 2021 oh my what a big difference still great shop s but thery are so many empty shops as well the amount of pubs that are close down what a shame
Last time I visited Clonmel Superquinn just opened in the shopping precinct, noticed it’s closed on video, retail unit to rent. Very few shops left on the High St from the old days, Hickey’s remains near the Gate, has Clinton’s drapery store closed?

Lots of prysbetherians (members of church of Scotland) were moved down there in the 1700s for rejecting the British crown
