Saw a nice call out by Jeff Ostroff from his channel yesterday! You two do a great service in explaining the practical and engineering aspects to us all over the US! Only wish there were overhead views to see the spacing and placement of the barges and cranes to see their own little projects! Sound is great today! Love hearing all the traffic with the operators out there. Thanks again from the west coast!
Thanks for your coverage...I keep watching and forgetting to thank you. It's amazing. I'm not an engineer but my parents both were, so it's fascinating to watch this with my mother's voice (in particular) like a voiceover.)
Watching your updates from Australia, just wanted to say thanks for taking the trouble to show us the salvage operation in progress. I'm in awe of the crews carrying out this monumental , dangerous, and difficult task , whilst also sad at the loss of the lives of the bridge maintenance crew. Job well done, thanks again.
Alfred Montaner is a very nice gentleman. During the hurricane he was out there helping w water, gas , etc. 5 stars to the Chit Show. Don't stress w any negative comments. Back seat drivers. We appreciate your videos. First thing I do in the morning is watch your video. Blessings 🎉❤ from Weslaco Texas in the Rio Grande Valley
Wouldn't it be awesome to have a drone over by the Dali or above the site, to truly appreciate the difficult task at hand. RB from Weslaco Texas in the Rio Grande Valley Texas
thank you sir for your service. Update on the audio.... after 1 hour or so, the audio cancellation was fixed but the audio level is too far down and we will get blasted when going to other sites..
The welders have made 4- 5 cuts on the bridge girders on the second and third vertical beams, from the man lift! Is that to weaken the box beams for the explosive charges?
your mono microphone feed is sending an out of polarity signal to one side of your stream, when combined to mono will result in the entire signal cancelling. Check any balanced cables.
When you give a time for them to do something. What time zone is that ? I live in the central time zone. It's confusing when you just give a time like your saying 7 to move the Dali on Friday. Is that 7AM Eastern time?
I very much appreciate your coverage so please take this as a correction rather than as a criticism. You keep calling the bridge structure a "trestle". You've done it several times. That structure is in reality a "truss". The difference is that a trestle is a bridge composed of very short spans, each with their own supports. A truss is a structure that is only supported on two points, (either end) and is usually composed of five or more triangles composed of straight members, fastened together on their ends, called "nodes". The Francis Scott Key Bridge's main span was composed of a "continuous truss" structure, which means that it was one span supported at three or more points, rather than just the ends. It's a common mistake but an important distinction. Hope you'll take this comment in the spirit that it's meant. Again, I very much appreciate your coverage.
They still don't have it all out of the water yet? I haven't been following the story for two weeks. I trailed away from it as nothing new transpired that I could find. So Christ it must be a real tough extraction effort it looks like barely nothing has moved!
To the best of my recollection, there was one possible link, tenuous though it may be, between what happened on September 11th 2001 and a person in the Bush family. This was sometime around the end of 1995 and the beginning of 1996. There was a conversation at the Martin county literacy council. Part of that conversation described the attacks that you saw on September 11th 2001. There was also articulated that these ideas would be presented to people in foreign countries and Saudi Arabia. There were three people in this office in this conversation. There was a woman with dark hair who kept her back to us almost all the time. She was shuffling large manila envelopes around. Another person was Mary Conley, manager of the Martin county literacy council. The third person was myself. For some reason they put me on the board of directors. I do not remember directing anything and there was not much of a board either. I had no intention of staying there. I would be off to East Asia for years to come beginning March the 5th 1996. Barbara Bush was also a member of the Martin county literacy council. She used her influence to bring the attention of the media to the Martin county literacy council. That was when it was in the strip mall facing East Ocean boulevard in Stuart Florida. She was not in that conversation. She was not anywhere around in the vicinity at all during the time of that conversation. However, she was there later and more than once. The media followed her there and wrote prominent stories to let people know that the literacy council were there and waiting for them. She was there sometime after that conversation probably Weeks later. Mary Connolly was there also Weeks later, and she was in that conversation. That is about the most I could say about that.
Really appreciate your hard work in bringing that indepth assessment of the events that have transpired today at the Francis Scott Key Bridge Collapse Site. See you next Sunday!!

You're doing a fantastic job. Thank you for your efforts!
Thank you too!
I am hearing nothing but static. Anyone else?
Great to hear you again after the Golden Ray!
The lift brought down from the Dali is being used to cut up the steel structure.
thanks again, stay dry - and don't forget to clean your lenses!

I enjoy watching your videos I live by a huge bridge on the Mississippi River in Helena arkansas
Big fan from Australia
See Jeff Ostroff is sending you tons of subs!
On the StreamTime Live feed you can see the large crane at the point
watching from Quakertown, Pennsylvania USA
Thanks! Doing fine job!
Thank you too!
Love your videos keep up the good work
Thanks, will do!
I pray these workers are not being put on undue pressure to move it, irregadless of safety?
I sure like watching this but it's terrible thing that happened .
A challenging project: Keep safe!
thank you sir for your service. Update on the audio.... after 1 hour or so, the audio cancellation was fixed but the audio level is too far down and we will get blasted when going to other sites..
The other sound is coming in clear right now. When you said you lost the audio you popped up clearly
Can you please give a sector each of the 5 crane barges in the picture, I know the 533 and1000, but missed the other 3.
Thanks, great pics
I'll try to add something on there. It's a bit difficult during a livestream, but will try
Did they clear the steel debris from the Starboard side of the Dali, and are they working on cutting up the trestle on that Starboard side?
The large sections have been removed on the starboard side
Will you have chat back on by the time they move the ship?
Just think if all that equipment had to be battery powered 😳
The welders have made 4- 5 cuts on the bridge girders on the second and third vertical beams, from the man lift! Is that to weaken the box beams for the explosive charges?
I'd lower the volume of radio transmissions in the back ground.
OMG Awesome
kerry they are doing well keep it up

dead batteries
Excellent observation reporting! Curious - who is doing the forensic accident reporting?
The report will come down from the NTSB. I think when it is released there will be much discussion
I'm looking for an independent audit.
Hi from Cambridge, UK
Welcome!
At the beginning, you have Gremlins in your Audio...
I think to myself, how would I do this if I was in charge of this project, like I mean. Where would I start?
Your Audio not as loud as in the beginning ???
Batteries died! Getting more
Thanks for explaining all the operations to this very interested female.

I'm in BALTIMORE. We are operating on Baltimore Central time.

I've nicknamed the giant hydraulic claw, "The Donald"
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Why are they not removing containers from the Dali, makes no sense
The subject of this video says "Live", but I'm watching a recording. Maybe an updating timestamp on the video itself would make things clearer.
I thought that might be clear when I said "Good Morning"
It is amazing how will things go when it is left the the working class
They still don't have it all out of the water yet? I haven't been following the story for two weeks. I trailed away from it as nothing new transpired that I could find. So Christ it must be a real tough extraction effort it looks like barely nothing has moved!
There actually has been a great deal of debris removed from the bridge channel
I guess the most exciting thing to see is the water moving.
audio is good
Anyone keeping a tonnage tally?
How heavy is that weight that is breaking up that debris.
If I were pressed for a guesstimate, I'd say 2-4 tons
show the tourch cutting
So they are going to use explosives on the truss now?
Now 6 cranes, and description, not sector
Oh comon now. Ill b back in a week
I love you watch you
No cutting on the trus yet.i know it takes time.
They had torches working on it today.
also please consider not going beyond normal zoom and avoid going into digital zoom. It looks sub optimal on a big screen.
Digusting video doesn’t show anything different. To think you are making money off of anyone clicking I. To this website . Sickening
Then leave.
There are good days and bad days. You have to be patient. You can also speed through the video.
Is That You Donald?
I'm grateful for Andy's work. Those crane operators aren't out there to entertain you. If you don't like what you see, move on.
Joe for sure !
