His lightsaber is a work of art. Really reflected how much better things were during the days of the High Republic. Lightsaber designs in the prequel era looked more… pragmatic.
I was really hoping this guy would be an unlikely ally against the empire whose dark nature would gradually come to the surface culminating in a climactic confrontation at the end. Instead he is evil right off the bat and stays that way until the very end. Kind of a bummer in terms of having an interesting villain.
That could have been cool. At first when he turns I thought, “oh that was quick, guess no chance at friends”, but then assuming he’s been locked up for 200 years or so, he’s had a lot of time to obsess over the events that turned him, and meeting a new unfamiliar jedi wasn’t gonna bring him back after hating them for so long. Idk. I like it. Still could have been more fun the way you described it, like maybe Dagan could have taught Cal some new skill or stance 🍻

I like the music depicting you’re against a strong boss while Dagan Gera ignites his red saber while the healthbar with his name appears, JUST AMAZING AND EPIC

I figured Degan would turn, but I didn't expect him to wake up, bleed his crystal, and immediately start trying to kill Cal. Its like he was speedeunning lol. True, he's interesting. But if he were still alive until Luke's Era, he would have changed the story alone, he had to be taken down... Although I did want him to show up in the Mandalorian or other shows, I guess it isn't possible lol

Double blade lightsaber with perks to make combo longer and add hits when holding the button down and the man just falls over. Dude cannot handle being hit that many times

From a gameplay point of view, would say that it might've been more engaging if Dagan Gera beat Cal here. All the way through the game, Dagan never really feels like much of a treat because he continuously looses against Cal despite displaying terrifying powers.
Hmm, because he want to free him in safe condition. Why would he did something risky by destroy the water tank and can possibly hurt Dagan in not fully wake up condition.
