@codafett he is dead , unlike durge who was a mutated cream of the crop gendai. Rayvis is normal for his species, he can regenerate from alot of damage cut destroy the nerve stem and he wont be getting back up.
I think there should of been a third phase where everything starts blowing up. Then from the rubble, Rayvis decides to come out of his armor and goes all out like how Durge did in the Clone Wars. Then the fight ends with Cal destroying the brain and finally kills him.
This one was TOUGH. I’m playing it on grandmaster and the only way I was able to beat him was the blaster stance. I usually play single saber/cross guard
I used the single bladed saber as it does a decent amount of damage with good speed. The first phase of the fight was rly easy, but the second phase was hard for me bc i kept dying before i could remember the attack patterns. After learning the patterns it became easy. In the end i beat him with 1/5 stims to spare.
So the blaster stance? Are you able to parry? I just got to this point I'm playing I think on jedi knight? It's the second to the last.... not the hardest but just under and damn he hits hard. I'm gonna try again tho had to take a break haha

It’s gotten to the point where I can sometimes beat the first phase without getting hit but mannn that second phase fucks me up. I wish there was like a way to practice the second phase

Anakin wasn’t able to kill Durge until he blasted him to the sun in an escape pod burning his entire body and in SWTOR the sith officer said that the only way to kill a Gen’dai is by cutting their entire body to pieces.
Such a good scene, but why have Cal say "we should go" at the very end, it's like an awkward commander Shepard trying to end a conversation during a dialogue. There's no need for it, after the final blow just stay silent and walk away, would have been way more badass for Cal.

Wesker..
I can’t parry any attack!
Jhediiiii
Ok
Im a little disappointed with the boss fight and how it ended. Rayvis was introduced as an unbeatable boss with his regeneration powers. I was hoping for a unique boss fight. Where regular lightsaver attacks wouldn't damage him
Phase 1 is so easy!
I CAN'T PASS PHASE 2!!
Crossguard stance it TOO slow
Boop
Dragon ball z ahh villain
$50 game at best
this is in the easy setting... pffff
No one cares fr this isn’t a game that ppl should care to boast abt for difficultly it’s a Star Wars game and the first one in years, people just wanna enjoy it no one cares what difficultly you beat a game on. I plan on playing it on grand master AFTER I beat it because i want to actually ENJOY what I’m playing and you ppl are fr just annoying af for saying shit like this.
Tried for 5 hours on grandmaster and couldnt do it. Ended up switching to master and beat in first try. Mad respect to those who beat him on grandmaster i was gonna pull my hair out if i kept trying
I managed to defeat him in a couple tries since i've played a lot of souls-games. But imo the game tried to be here something its clearly not💀. It tried to be a souls-like bossfight, which i find absolutely hilarious, since the game isnt that at all. 2 phases for the sake of having 2 phases. The hitbox of Rayvis suddenly increasing making dodging a living hell. And the damage increasing for no apparent reason at all. His bonk stick suddenly just does more damage, and suddenly reaches further. Hilarious bossfight imo. But a flawed design💀
also the combos are very long and you can get stunned and "one shotted" pretty easily
@@nicokorkiamaki2991 Yea i see why thats an issue. But since i've played a lot of souls games thats not so much an issue for me. I finished the game on "Jedi Master" difficulty, so making a mistake is extra punishing. I reactive parried Rayvis to deplete his stamina faster, so i didnt have a huge problem with the combo's
sounds like someone had a hard time lol
@@SSJGaelY0 Lmao. No. I had him in 4/5 tries on Jedi Master difficulty. Im just very critical on games i like.
The 2nd phase really didnt add any variety, even though his aestatics changed. They could've done something with his tentacles, changing his moveset, since you sliced his armor off. A grab attack, parryable and non-parryable tentacle attacks, maybe a heavy attack that, if countered correctly, allows you to take a a tentacle off.
Or a change to his weapon. Taking the ball and turning it into two weapons, also miximg up his moveset. But no. They instead chose to have two phases for the sake of having two phases
@@bramgierkink7485you shoulda done it on jedi grand master as its gives the ultimate gameplay experience
this boss sucks
