One of my favourite Buddy Holly songs. Maybe because of the British TV show. What a fabulous version of the song. I can't find any video of Buddy doing it so this is the next best thing.
@@silvanyferreiradesouza2348 Buddy didn't have a second vocal part in his version. As good as Waddy is, he didn't capture the "sound" of the original guitar solo.
What do you expect Buddy recorded his version in 1958 in a glorified garage , Jerry Allison beating on a cardboard box . He didn't have a full blown orchestra , high quality instruments and advanced acoustics helping him out
This is a beautiful version of a great song. Chris sounds amazing, a truly great voice. For me, Michelle's lovely harmonies really lift this version, makes it something special. What is strange though is despite sounding so good together, there is an almost total lack of stage chemistry between them. It's almost like he hardly notices her, but I keep listening. :). The film is out of sync with the singing, so badly I thought they were miming for a minute.
Beautiful! Besides the original and other cool covers, I love Humble Pie’s version too, think it’s tops !! Anybody agree about H Pie’s version? Have a listen if you haven’t heard it, I think you’ll enjoy …
I don't know this classic dude but not bad. As for Michelle, big fan and surprisingly I like the white outfit. Very simple, basic in a good classic form and not loud same with Chris's outfit
This is from a Buddy Holly tribute, some of the original greats are there including Maria Elena Buddy`s wife sitting next to Phil Everly..Paul Anka and Graham Nash too .. There is a DVD of the complete show which is excellent.
lovely song........but has no-one else notice the singing is hopelessly out-of-sync (I mean by miles!). Strangely drums & guitar shots are in sync, but Chris & Michelle are "singing" when there's no voice & vice -versa. How is that?
One of the best duets ever!
No doubt Chris Isaak has one of the greatest voice ever.
very Cute performance with Michelle Branch..
I agree
Chris always pays his respects to the ones who came before
Wow! A difficult song to cover and do justice to. But Chris and Michelle kinda nailed it there - adding the Everly Bros harmonies, Love it. xxx
Didn't particularly like the guitar sound -shoulda kept to the original clean Fender pizzicato with reverb! xxx
The Knack nailed it
Wow what a great tribute to buddy 💕

Without a doubt better than the Nick Berry version.
You blend so well! Nice beat! Wanna move!
Why don't we hear more Chris Isaak anymore? I love his honey smooth voice.
He's on tour all the time..I've seen him😍😍
Wow!! They sound so great together!!
LOVE HIS VOICE AMAZING
You rarely hear a bad version of this Buddy classic.
Awesome together and I love the backup band, Love Chris
so true! they compliment each other beautifully!
Красив дует! Красив дует е и този на Chris Isaak със Stevie Nicks - Red River Valley.
Perfect duet!
sound like perfection
Love this version
The Buddy Holly Tribute that this act was taken from was a great show!
Most sweetest and genuine smile..
I would like to hear some more duets from this yorga with Chris her voice blends beautiful with his
they sing very well together, she has a gorgeous voice. An album of them would be good.
Beautiful !
Proper rock and roll..
Wow!! Like this so much more than even Buddy Holly's version. I'm a new Chris Isaak fan,
Isn't he great , even better than Buddy Holly.Try to listen Chris singing " crying, waiting..... "
@@silvanyferreiradesouza2348 Buddy didn't have a second singing part in his song. Nice rendition though.

Nice perf. Michelle looks a little like a young Kamala Harris. Even has the same nervous smile.

What if michelle branch was to be smoking and drinking in her dining room
