Because in Hip Hop DJ's call that a routine. It's something you practice for a bit. What DJ Scratch did specifically is called beat juggling. He practiced it beforehand aka had the whole thing planned. There was no talk about it or collective setup, so Kid Capri had nothing ready for that. It's a surprise attack. It's not how things are done. Lookup DMC videos on RUclips and you'll see how DJs compete against each other in an organized manner. Pretty much in the spirit of what VERZUZ is. That's why Kid Capri has all the right to not be cool with what DJ Scratch did.
