I can still imagine the amount of planning it took just for the gameplay to be like that. How it was pulled off exactly how they wanted to show that.

As much flak as this game got, it was incredibly fun and rewarding to play. Plus, many features such as the grappling hook opened many amazing possibilities to combat many of the franchise's problems (such as rooftop camping)
if only people played like this...

this is not going to work, half the people will not be good teamates and in this gameplay everything goes perfect that´s why it looks so fun.
this should be singleplayer the experience you will get will be very diferent from this when you play with strangers.
He is right, take a look at the battlefield 4 E3 trailer. Everything goes perfect; they don't die a single time because the enemies were just hired to stand there and not aim at them properly. And yes of course some times team mates are not reliable but I think the purpose of trailers like this is to show the potential of the game which is what matters.

Ok, this looks fun, but why release it as a separate game!?! You could easily release a port for BF4 on Next-Gen consoles, and release it as DLC. This is just Dice and other companies involved wanting more money. Yes it does look fun, but so are the Payday games.
Not games to compare, last I played payday I wasn't pitched in an epic battle to ram a armoured truck of a bridge into a tunnel whilst battling 32 player controlled police officers.

I will be buying this, looks amazing! I never got Battlefield 4 as I was getting bored of the same military stuff over and over... Same with COD tbh, I think the reason most people are hating on this is because its based on cops and robbers and not military or war... This will probably bring new people to the game and those who don't like it just go back and play Battlefield 4 or 3 or maybe even Bad Company 2 if you don't like change.

i think this game looks pretty good. i enjoy counterstrike, payday, and battlefield and this is pretty much a combo of them. im looking forward to it
I like shooters, but I'm bored of arm shooters. For me, he campaign will breathe new life into the genre. Ps I know it's the same old same, emperor's new clothes, but I like the idea of the modern day bad ass cop.
Plus I loved the movie "Heat (1995)". I feel my "Robert De Niro" side will love this.

Why are people complaining how Battlefield is releasing a new game every year? I mean, Battlefield has always done that. Let's look back in time:
Battlefield 1942 (2002)
Battlefield: Vietnam (2004, two year gap after Battlefield: 1942)
Battlefield 2 (2005, released a year after Vietnam)
Battlefield: 2142 (2006, released a year after Battlefield 2)
Battlefield: Bad Company (2007, released a year after Battlefield: 1942)
Battlefield: 1943 (2009, two year gap after Bad Company)
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (2010, released a year after Battlefield: 1943)
Battlefield 3 (2011, released a year after Bad Company 2)
Battlefield 4 (2013, two year gap after Battlefield 3)
Battlefield: Hardline (2014, to be released a year after Battlefield 4)
You see? Battlefield has always had yearly releases. And my bet is that the next Battlefield (after Hardline) is probably going to have another two year gap. So quit complaining and just enjoy the Battlefield.

I played the beta. It's ZERO like this video. Completely disorganised, chaotic to the maximum, without ANY clear objective other than killing people. The HUD is a shitpile of markers which serve zero purpose, guns have crappy recoil once again, the Shitbite engine runs at 1 FPS, and the whole game plays exactly like a totally overhyped low-budget pile of horseshit. I know, I'm swearing a lot... I just can't help how dumb people are to play such thing.

You realize that all of this was scripted, right? They did the same thing in previous Battlefield games. Everyone in this video was told their part and what to do at what times. It was probably rehearsed several times, too.

Rainbow Six Siege, FAST paced close quarters, quite some realism, feels like im playing Rogue Spear and Raven Shield, ACTUAL TEAMWORK REQUIRED, not entirely scripted(not the trailer but the game, the trailer was so scripted).

I'm not lying here people it's just a fact. The game can be amazingly designed, but community will screw it up. (Case and point Call of Duty MW2. Don't call me a CoD fanboy. My favorite FPS is Bad Company 2.)
Now I'm just gonna say this. The last FPS I bought was Black Ops 2. I literally have not played it in well over six months.

Whilst I do see your point, with Arma being superfun as you coordinate with your squad to provide cover for a tank section to push back an invading force. BF Hardline ain't exactly meant to be realistic, neither the BF series as a wholes just good fun blowing shit up to kingdom come

At first I was disappointed it wouldn't be, you know, a military shooter, but this cops and robbers thing looks like it'll work out, and I'm excited to see what the campaign will be like. CoD's Advanced Warfighter also looks interesting, they actually upgraded their graphics and gameplay. Will be an interesting year.

that ending was amazing just getting surrounded by a armored truck cop cars and police realistic and that arrest tho.
So basically the robbers failed because their designated bagman ignored several officers that were tagging and bagging several of his mates and after losing the helicopter pilot, jumped and landed on the street instead of the nearby rooftop.
Even in tech demos Battlefield players never put too much thought into their actions or plans.

This is what modders could do in Battlefield (1942) and other engines in the past and now game-companies do (and sell) since they now lock down the engines. But it looks fun.

Gotta love how at E3 the gameplay demo shows how the games meant to be played so that its fun for everyone, yet all that will happen on release is every cop and crook will fly to the nearest building and snipe off it. while 3 people run around on the ground trying to play the objective.
