I think those dj crawler tires would be good for those hard park builds with 1.8in wheels because I bet you could get away with still having a good sidewall
I got a set of these tires based on your review. I was planning on going with the 70mm 1.3 injora's until I saw this. Just got them installed on my Tarantula build and holy cow you weren't kidding, these are unbelievable! I have them mounted on a set of treal beadlocks with the interchangeable hubs, running the ones with more negative offset. Combined with a set of +6 mm weighted hex extensions, it's just enough to fit. There's a tiny bit of rub on the bottom cage bar right behind the front wheels, but not enough to bind up. These tires took the tarantula to the next level. it's almost annoying how good it is haha, im going to have to rebuild some of my backyard course to make it challenging enough! thanks for the solid product recommendation!
I want the big mud tires ! I am designing a scale version of Matt's Off road Recovery's big International tow truck using a modified Power Wagon body and a styrene tow bed and winches on the back. Keep showing us new things for these micro crawlers !
I'm finishing my new home made 1/18 shafty. No body, roll-cage style, so these giant new tires won't hit anything once in place. Thank you for this video, you improved my build.👍😉
That rig is quite capable you could probably put paddle tires on it and it'd do just fine.I hope all is well there and the new job is working out, Happy new year.
I thought it would be goofy but after running 68mm for awhile now it just seems normal i luv em need the injora 70mm with the 1.3 wheels first awesome video
Hi thanks for replying before hope im not to late n your still looking at comments. How did you get the remote to stop flashing when u did the k5 brushless I bought it n it jitters the remote keeps flashing not happy with furitek
Dude! I'm starting a trx4m buggy build, the bettle aka "rhino"! Can't wait to get it done! Not sure about the screw holes though for the top of the shock mounting spots as they look too small. 🤔🤨
They’re just so tall on these tiny drivelines. Small running gears, shafts, and motors you start breaking stuff easier. I’ve kept my micros, well, micro. When I want that much bigger I have 1/18, 1/10, 1/8, 1/6, and 1/5 trucks. Remember too when the tire size goes up that much it effectively gears your vehicle up and you lose some fine control. These would be pretty cool on a small 1/18 buggy w open diffs and hard foams on a track.
I am just getting into the hobby bought a C10 and a unimog I want to build one of these type of crawlers you're showing how complicated are they to build for a noob
Ohhh yeah!! Had the bug injora super swampers on my tarantula but these are perfect! Order with the link before the video even ended. Gonna go kill the local mini corse now
I'm still just waiting to see them on an scx24 project because they'll fit but they look like they might be too big I'd really like to see a function there but doesn't seem like anybody's posting anything yet
I would need to widen it out a bit more I think, but they would be gnarly on the slayer. I’m probably going to order a couple more sets to try on other projects!
I saw on amazon and ebay that there are 1/18 scale winches and was wondering if you or anybody has seen them and bought them, and was wonderimg what you think about em
Hi please help if you can , i have just bought the lizard pro with mini komodo i have tried looking and asking different people what i have managed to see i have confusion do i need a seperat esc to plug the lizard into or is it stand alone i am building from scratch not upgrading many thanks

Glad you enjoy them as much as I do! Amazing tires
Same here! Mounted mine up yesterday and they blew my mind on traction.

Thank you for this video, you improved my build.👍😉
Look like some very capable tires that would go perfect on a set of 1.8s for my 1/18 MOA project. Can't wait to get a set
Very impressed with the tires and the rig! Especially impressive that it is still running the stock ECM and has the control and speed that it does,
That rig is quite capable you could probably put paddle tires on it and it'd do just fine.I hope all is well there and the new job is working out, Happy new year.
They match perfectly on my AX24 after making it longer and wider. Now it looks and performs great
Where did you get that "crawler park" thing?I like the video
I got mine from Amazon. But you can order it from toyswd.com
Very impressive! 💥👍 I like the dual stage foams. Look like great tires as they are, but as always, I'll be doing tire mods.. 😃😎
I’m sold, I will be ordering a set to go along with my Injora fj40 body.
I thought it would be goofy but after running 68mm for awhile now it just seems normal i luv em need the injora 70mm with the 1.3 wheels first awesome video
@capeCrawlers what shocks are you running on your buggy?
Thanks, and awesome video!
Thanks for watching! They are the Injora 59mm
Mad Max tires ! Dj crawlers are nice , I like my 60 mm ones ,the Tarantulas impressive 😊
Great video! Just asking but can you do a short of the high trail chevys again?

I know this is probally off topic but are the normal trx4m and the trx4m high trail the same chassis?
Im thinking about getting some of these for my Drivetime RC divino. Might have to narrow them some 🤔
Wow they really grip. Great job
awesome tires! are you going to put the new injora esc in the tarantula? Always exited to see your latest video!
I’ve got the new esc in my creamsicle bronco. I’ll do a video soon!

Very good points. I’ve done full metal driveline on this one but it’s still a lot of stress on those parts
How do you film and drive at the same time? Awesome vid btw
Wow! Those DJ Pin looks awesome!
I have a couple of builds I'd like these for. Waited for your review.
How about dirt? is this that much grip as on the rocks?
I am just getting into the hobby bought a C10 and a unimog I want to build one of these type of crawlers you're showing how complicated are they to build for a noob
They’re not that complicated. It looks worse than it is. I’ve got some instructional videos on chassis kits like this
@@CapeCrawlers I've been watching and catching up on a lot of your old videos
Could you consider doing a rock pirates rc interceptor for your Phoenix?
Yes I would be interested in that for sure
Could you fit them on a scx24?
Great rig good pairing
Ohhh yeah!! Had the bug injora super swampers on my tarantula but these are perfect! Order with the link before the video even ended. Gonna go kill the local mini corse now
I have a set of mud DJ Crawlers on my fcx18 an my k10 they work awesome
I'm still just waiting to see them on an scx24 project because they'll fit but they look like they might be too big I'd really like to see a function there but doesn't seem like anybody's posting anything yet
from/to australia thru aliexpress they [74mm] were only $27 au as opposed to $58 au from amazon
I can’t wait for 100 milimeters😂
wow i wonder how they would do on your slayer ? Would give some more clearance for certain
I personally have not but I would love to try one!
If you could only have one rig?🤔🤔🤔
Hi please help if you can , i have just bought the lizard pro with mini komodo
i have tried looking and asking different people
what i have managed to see i have confusion do i need a seperat esc to plug the lizard into or is it stand alone
i am building from scratch not upgrading
many thanks
The lizard is the esc, but you will need a new receiver to plug it into depending on what truck you have.
@@CapeCrawlers that brilliant thank you so much .
What size links are you running on that build?
Stock length Injora brass links
@@CapeCrawlers wow that was a quick response. Thank you so much! I love the content you’re putting out keep up the good work.
Would u consider these to be your best 1.0 crawler tires???
For pure performance yes
@@CapeCrawlers thank you for your response. I have a set coming for me now. Thanks
Where is that course located?
Yarmouth Massachusetts
Would this work on a scx24?
As long as you had the room to clear them yes
Are you driving this thing one handed ?
Are you into competitive crawling with those little things
I’ve competed a couple times, not in real serious events. I like to build them more than comp them
That thing is not fair, your basically velcroed to the rocks
😂 so true!
UTB 24
Save some air for the rest of us
There is a reason the comp pins are banned in 1/10. Don't even get me started on the size, 1/24 gtfo lol.
Slipping all over the place, that's all i saw.
