    I think those dj crawler tires would be good for those hard park builds with 1.8in wheels because I bet you could get away with still having a good sidewall

    I got a set of these tires based on your review. I was planning on going with the 70mm 1.3 injora's until I saw this. Just got them installed on my Tarantula build and holy cow you weren't kidding, these are unbelievable!
    I have them mounted on a set of treal beadlocks with the interchangeable hubs, running the ones with more negative offset. Combined with a set of +6 mm weighted hex extensions, it's just enough to fit. There's a tiny bit of rub on the bottom cage bar right behind the front wheels, but not enough to bind up.
    These tires took the tarantula to the next level. it's almost annoying how good it is haha, im going to have to rebuild some of my backyard course to make it challenging enough! thanks for the solid product recommendation!

    I want the big mud tires ! I am designing a scale version of Matt's Off road Recovery's big International tow truck using a modified Power Wagon body and a styrene tow bed and winches on the back. Keep showing us new things for these micro crawlers !

    I'm finishing my new home made 1/18 shafty. No body, roll-cage style, so these giant new tires won't hit anything once in place.
    Thank you for this video, you improved my build.👍😉

    Look like some very capable tires that would go perfect on a set of 1.8s for my 1/18 MOA project. Can't wait to get a set

    Very impressed with the tires and the rig! Especially impressive that it is still running the stock ECM and has the control and speed that it does,

    That rig is quite capable you could probably put paddle tires on it and it'd do just fine.I hope all is well there and the new job is working out, Happy new year.

    They’re just so tall on these tiny drivelines. Small running gears, shafts, and motors you start breaking stuff easier. I’ve kept my micros, well, micro. When I want that much bigger I have 1/18, 1/10, 1/8, 1/6, and 1/5 trucks. Remember too when the tire size goes up that much it effectively gears your vehicle up and you lose some fine control. These would be pretty cool on a small 1/18 buggy w open diffs and hard foams on a track.

    • @CapeCrawlers
      @CapeCrawlers  10 месяцев назад

      Very good points. I’ve done full metal driveline on this one but it’s still a lot of stress on those parts
