Great tut. I watched this one first and then went back and watched one on making seamless patterns. I thought this was going to be combining brushes for some reason - kind of like those brushes that make shadows. But this is cool - interesting technique for making designs with multiple parts or overlays. The most interesting thing I learned in here was the part about typing in the exact measurements for the scale to eliminate any offset and learning that the sliders are not exact/accurate. This was a cute pattern that you created - I def could see that on a pair of boys pajamas.
That’s what I looked this video up for as well😄 Do you know how I can make it so that when I change the size of the brush I can change the size of the pattern? I haven’t figured that out yet😅
Thanks for the video! Super easy to understand and follow along. I actually tweaked a brush from a pack I bought that was overlapping and I fixed it with this vid :) Looking forward to making my own brushes too now!
Hey thank you so much for these tutorials!!! I came here seeing the ‘Repeat Seamless Patterns on Procreate’. You make it so simple to understand along with explaining all the details 🌸🤍
Great tutorial thank you! Also, I love it when the answer to a problem we have not yet had is given. Now I won't have to run into that problem as I'll be prepared and type the size of the brush manually. Thanks again!
Hella Cool, I make kids' nursey art and I was really trying to find a way to take my seamless patterns for the clothes of my characters and make them brushes so I didn't have to be a fashion designer every time. this is AWESOME!!! Thanks
I am using this technique to make lace patterns for my fashion illustrations. The first one turned out perfect and I tried a more intricate and detailed and dense design for the second one but the result is messed up! The brush isn't creating the complete lace design but sort of draging one part of the whole design. Any tips?
Thanks for the video! If I fill the entire layer with the seamless pattern, is there a way to then turn the entire layer into a seamless pattern repeat that can be uploaded to sites like Spoonflower or Society 6? When I tried on Spoonflower, I was getting noticeable seams.
Whenever you go in and change brush settings is there a way to revert all brushes back to their original settings? If not i guess you would have to delete and reload?
for some reason when I copy canvas, then try to paste into grain, nothing appears : ( Great tutorial though, I'll definitely have fun using this technique.
Please help - Not sure why i have no response when double tapping my design to turn my it black. I just now updated to latest version and still no response. Any suggestions?
