    So happy to find this video! Enjoying your tutorial! Bought the "Complete Retrosupply Collection for Procreate". 😅 Feels like birthday for me! 😄 Especially your brush packs are convincing for me. Great brushes! So easy to get a good result. Thanks for your explanations, your structured way to draw step by step with this logic inside (sketching, blocking, clipping mask/textures, details...). Really helpful and I can take it and adapt it to a completely new piece of art! It's universal! Big thanks! ❤

    Thanks so much for this! I just got the Woodland Wonderland set and it's really helpful to see all that it can do. I've been using that Gouache brush a lot, but always kinda heavy. I really like the wispy light-handed stroke--looks like a painting. Again, thanks, this was awesome!

    Holy moly this is incredible! I’ve started playing around with the mid century style myself and I can’t wait to see how far I can go with it!

    At 2.22 how did you make the paint stroke become darker than the background even tho you didn't change the color on the colorwheel???

    Are there any native brush alternatives you could suggest?

    Can you guys make a :
    1.upa/hannabarbera/art lozzi kind of brush set?
    2. Mary blair set
    3. The style they use on the backgrounds buildings etc in 101 dalmations the cartoon old movie version.
    3. Whatever this is: fairly odd parents, johnny bravo etc set
    4. Calarts like gumball, steven universe, gravity falls etc
    Id like to see tutorials of those and brudh sets.
    And also a brush set specificly made for the way disney used to draw backgrounds
    Alice in wonderland and cinderella is similar maby gouache im not sure? Everyrhing looked so creamy there
    And pin8chio and snow whites watercolro

    Love this drawing 🙂👍 please could you tell me in what resolution do you draw your illustrations, I mean dimensions and colour profile in Procreate. You have so many layers, I usually have only 6, but my dimension is around 30cm x 30cm, and colour profile CMYK

    • @BravetheWoods
      @BravetheWoods  3 года назад +2

      Thanks! I typically paint at 300dpi. This one was 9in x 12in in CMYK profile.

    Thanks for sharing your process - this is such a gorgeous illustration! Would love to know how came up with the initial sketch? That seems to be the hardest part for me.

    • @BravetheWoods
      @BravetheWoods  3 года назад

      Thanks! I typically don’t share the sketch phase for timing reasons but next time I’ll try and explain how I ended up with that sketch ha. This particular painting was very loose and I just kept adding elements based on visual texture and color.

    Do you know a dupe of these brushes but for free ? I’m student and I have already spent all my money on the second hand iPad and pencil 😂

    Every other word you use is «kind of». Unlistenable.
