the fact that he is singing the e-bow part, really shows what an outstanding vocalist morten is.
Sometimes notes just come together in such a magical way that it's loved by all. This may not be one of the most technically difficult songs in the world but I'm 46 years old and I swear to God I haven't met anyone so far that didn't like this song.
It might be partially because of the video, but this is my 3yo's favorite song. Sometimes he'll just randomly start singing it.
I will never get over how good that signature bass sounds. So rich yet so clear!

I recently went budget Bass shopping and found an acoustic-electric fretless u-bass for like 100 USD. Of course I purchased it and its probably my favorite instrument now. I have yet to upgrade to round wounds but it sounds transcendental. Fretless bass is from heaven.

That's a familiarity thing and is pretty well known. That's why club owners like cover bands - it takes a few listens before most people get into a song, but if it's something they already know then they automatically like it (unless it's horrible, of course).
If you heard Charles' music from time to time like you do the songs he covers, then you'd probably like his stuff just as well.

Charles, great job, question I have a Schecter Omen 5 string and I love it. I bought a Schecter after you gave that one away to the young lady. I think my action is too high for slapping can you or anyone else recommend a starting point for slapping. You can drive a truck under my strings as they are now.
