thank you, random internet stranger, for producing this video and getting me out of my first world problems!
Just wanted to say thank you so much for this video the Switching on then holding volume up and down together worked perfectly on my Samsung Q700A thanks again
Thannnnnk you second method worked
Thank you after 3 years of owning my Samsung soundbar with no Bluetooth connection I finally found a way to reset the sound bar and connect the Bluetooth and it worked. Amazing knowledge
Oh wow, that's awesome to hear! Isn't it great when things finally work out? 😄 I'm super glad the video helped you get your Bluetooth connection going after all this time.
I cannot thank you enough. I've been close to tears trying to get sound again. Your step-by-step instructions and your calm demeanor helped me immensely.😊
Glad it helped!
Hey thanks much this helped reset my Samsung Sound-bar after I had got it locked onto “BT READY” mode which it kept switching outta D IN mode to that on its own.
If anyone else is experiencing the same issues I own the sound-bar model ***Samsung - 2.1-Channel Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer and Dolby Audio/DTS Virtual:X (2020) - Black***
I used the Power On then held down the 2 Volume Buttons on the sound-bar simultaneously till it went into “DEMO MODE” which music began playing an I then powered the sound-bar off using the remote then powered it back on using the remote which the sound-bar had then been fixed - so happy now!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊
The last one involving the volume buttons on the bar itself works well. A Samsung rep I talked to walked me through it and it worked great. Solved the issues immediately. That's the step I recommend.
Hey, that's awesome to hear! It's always great when a quick fix like that solves the problem. Thanks for sharing the tip about the volume buttons; it'll probably help others who are having issues too.
Thank You so much, this resolved the Bluetooth issue with my Soundbar that even Samsung Support was not able help!
Thanku so much ❤️
You are superb and I would say a god sent for me.
Badly wanted to listen to songs and the Sound bar won’t work. For a while felt like it has gone bad and may have to just throw it away.
But here came your video and saved the day.
Tx a ton man.
God bless!
Glad I could help
I have the hw-c440 soundbar and holding + and - buttons on the soundbar worked. Thanks!
Thank you so much. For your clear and simple explanation and instructions on how to fix my soundbar. 👍
Glad it helped
Just wanted to say a big thank you for this video, helped my Samsung sound bar with the 3rd step appreciate it muchly!
Great to hear!
For those who are still having issues, just unplug all the wires from the soundbar.. it worked for me
Hey, good tip! Sometimes the simplest fixes are the best. Gonna give unplugging a try next time I run into issues. Thx for sharing!
Thank you. Solved my problem
You just solved my soundbar’s issue. Thank you very much ❤

The second suggestion hella worked. Thx Bruh.

Thank you! Fixed my Bluetooth connectivity issue 👍🏻
Glad it helped!
Thank you!!!
You're welcome!
Thank you, I was looking for how to pair the device
Oh, glad the video helped a bit! If you're still on the hunt for how to pair your device, usually holding down the Bluetooth button on the soundbar for a few seconds gets it into pairing mode. Then just find it on your device's Bluetooth settings.
Excellent!
Many thanks!
Last one worked for me! Legend! I was losing hope here reading through different manuals haha
Glad I could help!
Third option worked for me . Thank you so much.

@@hifiaudios8101 how do you set your speakers on your sound bar for good sound. Let me know.
Thanks!
Welcome!
Thanks buddy
Any time
Thankyou for the tutorial.
I have an old Samsung HW-F450 that I got for free a long time ago. I rarely use it because the volume fluctuating up and down is very annoying.
I disconnect the soundbar's cable that goes to the board controlling volume/power buttons on the side. My model had to be fully disassembled. Disconnecting the cable from the buttons didn't work right away either.
I restarted the soundbar, holded the play/pause button 10 seconds and didn't help, mine doesn't show any reset information either.
I holded the square "STOP" button for 10 seconds as recomended in the manual, restarted it and now the volume doesn't fluctuate anymore.
Hopefully it will hold over time, these soundbars volume problems are a misthery going on since many years.
Sounds like you've been through a lot with that HW-F450! Glad the "STOP" button trick worked out. It's wild how these volume issues keep popping up. Thanks for sharing your experience, might help others too!
@@hifiaudios8101I don’t understeand how this problem is so popular with different Samsung soundbars since a decade but they didn’t find a solution yet. It’s really strange.
I am using the soundbar daily now and the volume fluctuation is gone, I finally can enjoy listen to some music.
I may reopen it at some point and try to stuff it with foam/rubber.
Playing high pitch sounds make it vibrate and do some weird noises, since I have it. I don’t know if it’s a woofer that vibrates and makes the noise or if it’s the body of the soundbar.
Thank you, my Samsung Soundbar was turning on randomly by itself, hopefully this will fix it.
Fingers crossed this fixes it! Random turn-ons are super annoying. Let us know if it worked out!
@@hifiaudios8101 It really worked thank you soooo much man 😃
Any idea on the issue Prot!? Can’t seem to get that solved with these
What exactly is the issue you're facing with your Samsung soundbar? Maybe I can help figure it out with you!
You rule !!!!
Hey, thanks a bunch! 😄 Really glad u found the vid helpful. Stay tuned for more cool stuff, alright?
I have the hw-k551 version. The play/pause button option worked, Thank you. This sound bar always disconnects from sub, very annoying. Samsung help desk could not "help" 🙄, they routed me to a repair centre 👎.
glad the play/pause button trick worked for u! 😊 it's a bummer about the disconnect issue tho. samsung should've been more helpful instead of just sending u to repair. 🙄 maybe try checking online forums for a fix? good luck!
Thanks, I’ll give this a try. Somehow my Bluetooth soundbar disconnects / needs to be manually paired again with the tv again after i put my TV off to go to bed and wake up the next day. Sometimes it works perfectly for a few days in a row.. but eventually will always disconnect sometimes even after being off one night / a few hours.. hope this fixes it 🥹
Fingers crossed that the reset helps! Bluetooth can be a bit finicky sometimes. If it keeps disconnecting, try checking for any software updates for your soundbar and TV. Sometimes, keeping them closer to each other can help too. Let me know how it goes!
@@hifiaudios8101 so far so good, I was gone for half a day yesterday came back and was still paired, and this morning aswel after i woke up so it’s looking good. But ye in the future I’ll look for one that’s connected wired. The soundbar is right beneath the tv but I’ll check if there are updates for the soundbar/tv. Hopefully the hardreset you showed us will be enough tho, Ty again.
Hey brother, i lost my remote of q990b and have reset the soundbar. Can you please guide me how can i connect rear speakers and sub to soundbar without a remote. I would appreciate that
Hey there! It's unfortunate to hear that you've lost your remote for your Samsung Q990B soundbar, but don't worry, I'll help you connect your rear speakers and subwoofer to the soundbar without a remote. Here's a step-by-step guide:
Place the rear speakers and subwoofer in their desired positions in your room, and make sure they are connected to power outlets.
Power on the soundbar, rear speakers, and subwoofer.
Locate the "ID SET" button on the back of the soundbar, rear speakers, and subwoofer. You might need a paperclip or a small, pointed object to press this button.
First, press the "ID SET" button on the soundbar. The soundbar should enter the pairing mode, and you may see a flashing LED light indicating this.
Within 30 seconds, press the "ID SET" button on the rear left speaker. The speaker will try to connect with the soundbar, and once it's successfully paired, the LED light will stop flashing and remain solid.
Now, within 30 seconds, press the "ID SET" button on the rear right speaker. Follow the same process as with the rear left speaker, and wait for the LED light to stop flashing and remain solid.
Finally, within 30 seconds, press the "ID SET" button on the subwoofer. The subwoofer will also try to connect with the soundbar, and once it's successfully paired, the LED light will stop flashing and remain solid.
Check if the soundbar, rear speakers, and subwoofer are now connected and working together properly by playing some audio content.
Please note that this process might vary slightly depending on the specific model of your soundbar, rear speakers, and subwoofer. If you still face issues, I'd recommend contacting Samsung support or referring to your product's user manual for further assistance. Good luck!
Hello, do you know how to turn off the Auto power link feature? My soundbar Turns on automatically when I turn on my tv.
Yes, I can help you with that! To turn off the Auto power link feature on your soundbar, go to the settings menu and look for the power options. From there, you should be able to disable the automatic power-on feature.
the play and pause button for 3-5 seconds work for me.
mine is samsung sound bar k450
Glad to hear that worked for ya! The play and pause button trick can be pretty handy with these Samsung soundbars. Thanks for sharing your experience with the k450 model. Might help others too! 👍🙂
I have a samsung soundbar q900a that get the volume up by itself can you guime pls.
Hey there! That's a bit spooky with the volume going up on its own! 👻 First, make sure there's nothing pressing against the remote control. If that's not the issue, try resetting the soundbar by holding the 'Volume Down' button on the soundbar itself for about 5 seconds until you see 'INIT' on the display. This should bring it back to factory settings. If it’s still acting up, it might be time to contact Samsung support. Hope this helps and you can enjoy your soundbar without any surprise volume boosts! 🎵🔊
Will this method work for one of the rear speakers making a static noise? Cause that's what I'm going through right now
hm, not sure if the reset will fix static noise in the rear speaker. 🤔 it's worth a try tho! if it dont work, might be a connection issue or the speaker itself. good luck, hope it gets fixed soon!
@hifiaudios8101 I tried everything to solve the issue, but no luck. I ended up calling Samsung customer service for help. They asked if the soundbars software was up to date, which I've tried updating it through smart things, but it wasn't letting me update for some odd reason, and I don't own a computer and flash drive to manually update it, so instead they decided to ship out a replacement speaker which could take between 15-20 business days to arrive.
So I couldn't reset with a remote, but I was able to with the soundbar itself, however, when INT showed and I released, it said goodbye and never rebooted. I waited for 20 minutes to see if anything happened and nothing did, but I was able to turn it back on normally by hitting the power button or using the remote. Sadly the issue persists where my Samsung TV switches back to the TV speakers. I have a Samsung Q7CB Soundbar and have always used an HDMI cable, different cables and HDMI ports did not make a difference.
Hey, sorry to hear you're having issues. If the soundbar didn't reboot after saying "goodbye," it's a bit odd but good that you could turn it back on. For the TV switching back to its speakers, try checking the audio settings on your Samsung TV. Make sure the sound output is set to HDMI/ARC if you're using an HDMI cable. Also, see if there's a firmware update for both the TV and soundbar. Hope this helps! 👍
Whats better? To connect the soundbar via hdmi or thru wifi? Ive tried both and noticed that thru wifi, the sound is super loud as compared to hdmi
Both HDMI and WiFi have their pros and cons. HDMI usually offers better sound quality and lower latency, but if you're finding the WiFi connection to be louder and that works for you, go for it! It really comes down to personal preference and your specific setup. 👍
OK, the procedure works great and it resets it every time however, if I switch to media like Netflix or back to Apple TV watch this program and then decide to want to turn the volume down halfway through the program nothing happens. I have no control the volume up or down, the bar won’t even light up anymore. I can’t turn the bar off with the remote to unplug it plug it back in and do the reset procedure explaining this video and then everything works again. Is it that keeps causing this to fail over and over I have replaced the HDMI cables. Everything is brand new, however this just continues to happen over and over and over again it is frustrating to have to reset after every show I watch.
It's weird that it keeps happening even after you reset it. Maybe there's an issue with the soundbar's firmware or compatibility with your media devices. Have you tried checking for any updates for your soundbar or contacting Samsung support? They might have some more specific advice.
@@hifiaudios8101 I updated the Firmware with the USB. I am still having same issue with the Sound Bar volume control going to sleep. The only way to recover the control of the Sound volume is to toggle the connections option to TV,sound bar, optical out then back to ArcTv/hdmi.
Does doing a reset or factory reset erase the firmware updates
factory reset usually reverts the settings back to what they were when the device left the factory, but it typically won't erase firmware updates. Firmware is a deeper level of system software, and updates are usually permanent unless the manufacturer provides a way to downgrade. So, you should be fine to reset without losing any updates!
The Samsung Soundbar Q6B-Series bass is crazy high can you help me fix it?
Absolutely, if the bass is too high on your Q6B-Series, you can usually adjust it in the sound settings menu. Look for 'Bass Level' and turn it down a bit. Hope that helps! 🎧
@@hifiaudios8101 Thanks for your reply but I can not seem to find the settings.
Followed instructions using remote and also without. Volmax is still showing so I guess it's not reset. Any ideas please?
Hmm, that sounds tricky. If the typical reset method isn't working, it could be a more specific issue. Have you tried disconnecting it from power for a few minutes then trying again? If all else fails, reaching out to Sony Support might be your best bet. Good luck! 🔌🎵
Any troubleshooting steps when the soundbar won’t turn on at all. Replaced the power supply thinking that was the issue but still no power.
"Hey there! Bummer that your soundbar isn't turning on even after replacing the power supply. You might want to double-check the power cable and outlet to make sure they're working. If they're fine, it's possible the soundbar itself has an internal issue. If it's under warranty, contacting Samsung support could be your best bet. Hope it gets resolved soon! 🛠️🔌"
Hi l bought a new AC Samsung C4 series sound bar today and the sound just went off after an hour n l tried these methods but never worked..lm wondering what could be the problem please help thank you
maybe check if the soundbar's firmware needs an update? or could be a connection issue. if nothing works, might wanna call samsung support. hope it gets fixed soon!
My samsumg q700b is at max volume 10 and wont go over that i dont know why it worked fine previousley
Maybe try a reset again and see if it clears up that volume issue. If it still doesn't work, it could be a setting that got changed by accident. Double-check those and maybe peek at the manual too.
none of these work for me ???my remote will not work with sound bar ???
Having trouble with a q990c soundbar with a sony a80j tv using wifi. It won't connect via wifi. Ive tried the unplugging for 30 seconds method to no avail. Its with smartthings app but it says the 5g is connected on the app.
Oh man, that sounds really annoying! Have you made sure that both the soundbar and TV are on the same WiFi network? Sometimes they can be picky about that. Also, maybe try resetting the network settings on your soundbar if you can. And double check if there’s any firmware update available for your q990c, that might help too. Hope you get it sorted out soon! 👍
I can't use wifi to update the bar.
Hi bro my Samsung soundbar Q990C is not working just 1 orange Light is on. I m going to samsung service centers butt he is noy resolving this problem i m just 2 months ago buy the Samsung Q990C soundbar. Pls help me Thanks
Hey there! Oh no, that sounds super frustrating, especially since it's pretty new. If the service center isn't helping much, maybe try reaching out to Samsung directly through their customer support? Sometimes explaining the situation over the phone or through email can get things moving. Also, double-check your warranty; it should definitely cover issues this early on.
Yes i m going 3 difrent Samsung custmer care centers in PAKISTAN. Butt he said this is imported item. And not Repearable. I buy from Dubai and come to PAKISTAN
I have bad experiance in Samsung Soundbar. This is very expensive butt Quality is verry bad.

I have the Samsung sound bar HW-T510 and the volume goes up on it own to Max. The only way to bring down the volume is by pressing both up and down volume, but when I let go the button the volume goes back to max on its own. Also the control doesn’t do anything and it has new batteries. Anyone know what’s wrong and how to fix it? Thank you in advance.
Wow, that sounds like a pretty wild issue with your soundbar! If pressing both volume buttons only offers a temporary fix, it might be a software or hardware glitch. Have you tried doing a factory reset as shown in the video? If that doesn't work, contacting Samsung's customer support might be your next best step.
@@hifiaudios8101 Thanks for the reply. I did all your method and it still does the same thing I also think it’s a software hardware glitch. I will be calling samsung. Hopefully they get it fixed.
I purchased samsung t42e home theater just 3days ago... It is not connecting to tv through Bluetooth and optical cable as well.... While connecting through Bluetooth it showing connected successfully but sound not coming
Oh no, that's frustrating! 😩 Maybe try resetting the soundbar like in the vid? If still no luck, might be worth checking with Samsung support or where you bought it.
Will it work on other brands?
not sure, but maybe try and see? each brand might be a bit different tho
I was able to reset the soundbar from the bar but now my remote control isn’t recognized. Do you know how to re-pair it?
Sure, you can repair your remote by following these steps:
1. Switch off your soundbar and then turn it back on.
2. Press the "Sound" button on the remote for about 5 seconds. The soundbar should display a "Pairing" message.
3. If it doesn't work, try changing the batteries of your remote and repeat the process.
Remember, the process can vary depending on the model, so check your user manual if needed.
Hello, I am the owner of hw-q800b, I had a problem with a poor volume level, I reset my woofer to factory settings and another problem appeared on the soundbar, the message wifi disconnected is displayed, I note that there is no problem with the wifi network at home on other devices, can anyone help?
Hey there! It sounds like you've run into a bit of a pickle. If your Samsung soundbar is displaying a "WiFi disconnected" message, try following these steps:
Ensure your soundbar is within the range of your home WiFi network.
Double-check your WiFi credentials (SSID and password) are correctly entered in the soundbar's settings.
Restart your WiFi router and soundbar. This often helps reset the connection between them.
If none of this works, you might want to try resetting your soundbar to its factory settings again.
Remember, the hw-q800b model also supports a direct Ethernet connection if you continue having WiFi issues. Hope this helps!
@@hifiaudios8101 problem solved I had to reset the samsung tv to factory settings it helped communication between the individual settings came back at the very end I updated the soundbar and everything flies so nice
Does it work with different controller?
Absolutely, this reset procedure should work regardless of the controller you're using, as long as it's compatible with your Samsung soundbar. Just make sure to follow the steps carefully.
@@hifiaudios8101 I am using a sharp tv with a Samsung sound bar and I only have a sharp controller will it work?
I can’t seem to connect manually
I need a question answered before I blow up this GD sound bar (at the gun range). How to permanently change the Samsung sound bar setting that shuts it off after "8 hour"? I realize there is more than likely no way to change this. I'm just hoping something works because this sh*t is killing me. It just shuts off on its own. I'm also hoping there is no way to change it because I really want to shoot this POS sound bar for all the problems it has given me.
Hey, totally get the frustration with tech sometimes, lol. So, the auto shut-off thing is usually a built-in feature to save power. But, if your soundbar is the type that's got a smart app, you might wanna check there for more settings. Otherwise, it might just be a default thing that can't be changed. If it's acting up a lot though, shooting it ain't gonna fix it, but it might feel good, haha. Maybe see if Samsung support can help out before it becomes target practice. 😅🎯🔊
@@hifiaudios8101 shooting it will fix it. It won't trouble me again. I already bought its replacement. Tuesday it learns its lesson. lol And thanks for the advice.
After power surge soundbar stuck “on”. Unable to reset. Even called Samsung support. Any ideas? It’s completely frozen and won’t turn off or any other functions.
If you've already tried the standard reset procedures and contacted Samsung support without luck, you might want to unplug it and leave it disconnected for about 10 minutes. Then plug it back in and see if it responds. If that still doesn't work, it might be a hardware issue, and a local repair shop could be your next best step.
@@hifiaudios8101 thanks for your response. I actually unplugged it overnight. Still won’t respond. Guess I need to breakdown and buy a new one. 😟
The 3rd method brought me to the int option. Unfortunately, I still end up in shop6 mode. No joy.
It's a bummer that the third method led you to the 'int' option but didn't fix the shop6 mode issue. Sometimes these soundbars can be a bit tricky. You might want to try disconnecting it from power for a few minutes and then trying the reset again. If that doesn't work, reaching out to Samsung support could be your next best step. They should be able to guide you through a solution specific to your model.
Do you happen to know which support number to call. I did try the unplugging for a day. I paid $1500 for this home theater. Am very disappointed.
Can someone help me my soundbar turn off by itself after 20 minutes whenever I’m using it with the hdmi cable to my pc but if I use Bluetooth this doesn’t happen I been trying everything even get Samsung technical support and nothing
Have you checked the auto power-off settings? Sometimes, soundbars have a feature that turns them off automatically after a certain period of inactivity. When connected via HDMI, it might not be detecting audio consistently. Try adjusting the settings or see if there's a firmware update available.
Our sound bar is new and worked one day then not the next. It is stuck on “on” and won’t respond to remote or side buttons. Any ideas?
Hey there! Sorry to hear about the issue. Try unplugging the soundbar from the power source, wait for about 10 minutes, and then plug it back in. This can sometimes reset the device. If it's still unresponsive, it might be a hardware issue. As your soundbar is new, I'd recommend reaching out to Samsung's customer support or the place you bought it from, they should be able to help. Hope it gets sorted out soon! 🔊🔄
@@hifiaudios8101 we have tried unplugging it but that didn’t work, Samsung said we can ship it to them and they would fix it but we would have to pay. We didn’t unbox it until we got a new smart tv so no longer under warranty. Thank you for your time trying to help us.
My subwoofer connects to my soundbar but there is no sound from the subwoofer, what could be causing that issue. Model number HW-H551
Hmm, that's a bit strange. It could be a settings issue or a potential malfunction. Make sure the subwoofer volume isn't set to zero in the soundbar settings. Also, try resetting both devices and re-pairing them. If this doesn't work, it could be a hardware issue and you might want to reach out to Samsung support.

How do I get sound from my Galaxy 5
It's super easy to connect them using Bluetooth. Just follow these simple steps:
Turn on your Samsung soundbar, and get it ready for action by switching it to Bluetooth mode. Just press the "Source" or "Input" button on the soundbar or remote, and you'll see "BT" or "Bluetooth" on the display-now we're talking!
Time to grab your Galaxy S5! Head over to "Settings" > "Connections" > "Bluetooth". Flip that Bluetooth switch on, and let the magic happen.
Your phone will now search for cool Bluetooth devices to befriend. Once it spots your Samsung soundbar in the list, give it a tap to kick off the pairing party.
Hold on tight! Your Galaxy S5 and soundbar are getting to know each other. Once they're best buddies, you'll see "Connected" or "Connected for audio" under the soundbar's name.
Now you're all set! Blast your favorite tunes from your Galaxy S5, and let the soundbar bring them to life!
Keep in mind that Bluetooth loves to be close-it's got about 30 feet (10 meters) of connection range. If you encounter any hiccups, try getting your phone and soundbar closer together or remove any pesky wireless devices that might be interfering.
Well would be helpful if my display worked so I could see it...
Ah, that's a bummer about your display not working. 😕 Maybe try the reset using the buttons on the soundbar itself? Sometimes it's a bit of hit and miss, but worth a try.
My woofer is blinking red and blue light simultaneously and doesn't connect with the soundbar!
I have Hw-Q80R soundbar for 2 years now and it was working with no problem when suddenly this issue came up. PLEASE HELP
Power cycle both devices.
Reset the soundbar by holding the "Volume" and "+" buttons for 5 seconds.
Manually reconnect the subwoofer using the "ID Set" button.
Check for nearby interference and move the subwoofer closer to the soundbar.
Update the soundbar's firmware.
If the issue persists, contact Samsung customer support for further assistance.
@@hifiaudios8101 Samsung "support" is useless. They cancelled 2 repair tickets already (without telling me) and they will probably cancel the third. Subwoofer on q800b has no sound output. I was listening to music then it had cut out and the Bluetooth wouldn't pair again so I deleted the soundbar on my Bluetooth list and i was never able to pair it again. I've tried multiple devices and it wouldn't pair on those either. Can anyone help me?
I've tried every reset I can think of aswell
Ah, that's tough if you've tried all the resets already. It might be a hardware issue then. If it’s still under warranty, definitely consider reaching out to Samsung for a repair or replacement. They should be able to help you if it's a defect. If not under warranty, a local electronics repair shop could be worth a shot.
The issue I've got is my Samsung sound bar is not picking up my remote..I don't know what's up with it but I've tried 3 different remotes and it's just not working
Oh man, that's frustrating! 😕 Maybe the sensor on the soundbar is acting up?
@@hifiaudios8101 thats for sure it really is frustrating, i dont know where the infa-red sensor is in my soundbar and i can not find anything online as to where its actually located, or what it even looks like..mines the HW-J355 model
There is no reset button on my Samsung bar
Usually, you gotta hold down the power button or maybe a combo of buttons (like the volume or sound mode buttons) on the soundbar itself or the remote for a few seconds. Each model's got its own trick. If the manual's playing hide and seek, a quick online search with your soundbar's model number should spill the beans on how to reset it.
Mine started playing up after power cuts
Trying a reset might just do the trick.
Why do I need to reset the soundbar?
"Great question! Resetting the soundbar can be a handy trick when things get wonky - like if you're facing issues with sound quality, connectivity, or settings. It’s kinda like giving it a fresh start! 🔄🔊 Sometimes, that's all it takes to get back to the sweet, sweet sound. 🎶"
Hey, i did this so many times.. INT-- OK-- but i cant connect.. my TV can find the T4 Soundbar but it doesnt connect, can u help?
I still can't connect my phone to it 😤 Any other ideas?
But, this did reset the soundbar, thank you for the video
Make sure your phone's Bluetooth is actually on and searching. Sometimes it's the simple things, right?
If your soundbar's been around the block and connected to other devices before, it might be full up on memory. Try forgetting some old devices from its list if you can.
Check if there's an app from Samsung that might help you connect more smoothly. Sometimes those apps work like a charm.
Last shot, sometimes turning everything off and on again (yeah, the classic move) can magically make things work. Phone and soundbar both.
@hifiaudios8101 could be the memory, but I tried the rest too. Smart things app didn't find the sound bar either. I'm going to have someone else try. Thank you!
My soundbar sounds pretty good, but it has always been a piece of buggy junk to use.
Totally get that, electronics can be finicky. A reset usually helps with the bugs. Just follow the video guide, should be easy peasy. If it's still actin' up, might be worth it to check out Samsung's support page or hit up their customer service. Good luck! 🤞🔧
@@hifiaudios8101 Yea, a reset did the trick. I would not recommend Samsung for the user experience tho. lol
None of your suggestions worked mate. I done all of them and nothing happened. Holding the power key on my samsung sound bar does absolutely nothing.
Aw, man, that's a bummer! 😔 If none of those tricks did the trick, you might wanna try these:
Check if it's plugged in properly.
Maybe change the batteries in the remote.
If that's still a no-go, contact Samsung support. Good luck, mate!
Ok will do
Still won't connect to any devices:(
Oh no, that's a bummer! 🙁 Maybe try unplugging it for a bit and then plugging it back in? If that doesn't work, you might have to reach out to Samsung support.
Ive tried everything, looks like support is my only option, cant see it on bluetooth list anywhere on any device, only thing that works is my tv through hdmi from sound bar @hifiaudios8101
Same issue for me
I have constant issues with the left rear speaker. It keeps disconnecting out of nowhere. Really frustrating from a company like Samsung.
Now is flashing blue continously, and is no longer connecting with the rest of the system, which is working as normal.
Same problem here. So frustrating
Is youre problem solved already
@@its_eVa_ief1980 It's frustrating when a speaker in your sound system isn't functioning properly. Here are some steps to help resolve the problem:
Power cycle: Turn off both the soundbar and the rear speaker. Unplug them, wait 30 seconds, then plug them back in and power on. This might reestablish the connection.
Check for interference: Make sure there are no devices nearby that could be causing interference, such as wireless devices or electronics. Also, try moving the speaker closer to the soundbar.
Reset the soundbar: Press and hold the "Volume" and "+" buttons on the remote for about 5 seconds. This resets the soundbar and might fix the connection issue.
Reconnect the rear speaker: Turn off the soundbar and rear speaker, then press the "ID Set" button on the back of the speaker. Turn on the soundbar and wait for it to automatically detect the speaker.
Update the firmware: Visit Samsung's support website to check for firmware updates for your soundbar. Download and install any updates, which could help resolve the issue.

Thank you for answering.
I defently gonna try the steps wish me luck to get the bass back in the room.
Thank you
It won't go to "INT". It only says "No USB". I'm not using USB. Lol!
If it's stuck on "No USB" and you're not even using a USB, try unplugging the soundbar for a few minutes and then plug it back in. If that doesn't work, you might need to consult the manual or reach out to Samsung support.
Doesn't help to reset Bluetooth settings. For some reason Bluetooth doesn't work with a device that hasn't been used with it for a while. Urghh.
Sometimes, removing the device from your Bluetooth list and pairing it again can work. If that doesn't solve the issue, Samsung support might be able to guide you through some more specific troubleshooting. Hang in there, and I hope you get it connected soon!
I'm so pissed.. I'm about to go on all the samsung comments and forums and not recommend this piece of equipment. I can't get it to work and yes I double checked to make sure it's arc connection and different hdmi cables.. and turned the TV on and off.. tried reseting it.. I'm ready to toss this thing off a 10 story building and sending a nasty letter to sony for this piece of dog water.. dookey connectivity. It worked for a bit then stopped.. for no reason. I hate commenting negative things but this absolutely pissed me off.. I'm gonna go back to the Amazon sound bar. Way better
hey, totally get your frustration, sounds super annoying. Before you give up, maybe try unplugging the soundbar and TV from power for like 10 mins? Sometimes it kinda 'resets' the connection issues. Also, check if there's any firmware update for your soundbar or TV. Weird how tech acts up sometimes. Hope this helps a bit and saves you from writing that letter to Sony (btw, it's a Samsung soundbar, not Sony 😉). Hang in there!
