As if you remembered my comment under the other video. I like that you explain to non-experts. That's great and will make the community grow. Thank you man 🤘
Appreciate the slalom vs wave breakdown. Self taught never knew the differences. Now I know that returning to the sport I want a slalom for high speed chop hopping.
@@atonenjr thank you. 15 - 20 knots wind every day. 1 - 3 ft chop. 2-3 swell. Carbon fiber boards will handle that right? I won’t be searching out big air. Maybe do some regret tahs. 😄
Great colours for this season Nice actions on the waves also, did notice a non j-p fin on the wave board …🤫 You guys make slalom look easy Will you compete in fin and foils slalom and sill events be in same time window and location Great video again Nico. And the woodwinds at the entrance of casa medano. Dutch engineering !
You're always worth watching Information is so good! Also, you're happiness your professionalism comes through I talk about you with the other windsurfers .
Hey Nico, it would be interesting to learn a bit more about the evolution of the Evos over the last few years, obviously going to a high aspect ratio design was a major move. But it seems flatwater sails in general now have a lot more skin tension, fuller profiles even further up and less loose leech to boost low/mid range and increase acceleration without losing performance in the top end. Would be an interesting video with some nerdy stuff 😇
Nice video again Nico. I really enjoyed it and like the new colours. For me NP is the sailbrand. I’ve been using them since I started windsurfing. Love them. By the way, what music dit you use in this video?
Hey, I noticed you repaired the board probably on your own and i would like to know what you used and how you did it. I would like to go windsurfing but i kind of can't because my board needs a lot of attention and don't know what to use and where to start but thankfully at least I healed all of the damage to my head the sail made. Hopefully you know what I would like to know. Thanks
Nico, maybe freestyle too. We see that you and Bruno haven't been riding together since yesterday. Such close passes one next to the other. Cool shots.
Hello Nico. Forgot to ask. Can you tell how come, 2023 Speedster and V8 (those I have bought) only have 1 eye for outhaul? and they are quite low? 2024 and before 2023 have 2 eyes for outhaul?
That purple grape color looks amazing. Go back to the 80's sails for real pink 🤣 Question Nico, as I haven't bought a slalom board in ages: are those cutouts at the back of the board for foiling instead of fin surfing? Does it interfere with the smoothness for gybing? Looks really weird to me who hasn't taken up foiling...
Hey Michel. No, on the opposite. They can actually help with the grip for jibing if done the right way. And for straight sailing they help with water release, railing and control.
I love pink ! Last year was a disaster in the design of NeilPryde Sails in terms of colors and color combinations, most of the sails were plain ugly (and JPs board following the same colors were mostly ugly too). 2024 is so much better on that regard !
It’s not really pink though, it’s more of a mauve colour. It’s like someone’s menopausal mother has been in charge of colours for the last few years. Before that NP & JP had bright fluoro colours which were awesome.

Yup 😊
Bin neidisch😃Sowohl das Wetter als auch das Material🤙Sick!
Love the colours 😍 reminding me of those 2018 sails!(2018 speedster if i remember correctly)
Appreciate the slalom vs wave breakdown. Self taught never knew the differences. Now I know that returning to the sport I want a slalom for high speed chop hopping.
Just remember that pure slalomboards can be fragile when jumping them.
@@atonenjr thank you. 15 - 20 knots wind every day. 1 - 3 ft chop. 2-3 swell. Carbon fiber boards will handle that right? I won’t be searching out big air. Maybe do some regret tahs. 😄
The new sails looks very exclusive in action. Great design. I like the wave sharing attitude in your latest videos
A new shirt and hoody collection in this 2024 style would be epic!
indeed windsurfing gear is so beautiful, looks like a work of art we can use to decorate our homes😍
pink color ? oui c'est bon ! good luck for this new season.
I love pink too. May you voir la vie en rose this year.
Great colours for this season

Nice 2024 NPPink Sails. Nice video Nico! 💜
Nico... if he rigs 8.2, you rig 8.6. If he rigs 8.6 you rig 9.0. A saiyan always keeps his pride!
Amazing video and also the new JP boards and sails are sick 😍
Great color scheme for the boards and sails
Like the black colour. Combine with pink. Spot on❤❤❤

Love these sail colors, will nice background for sponsor stickers, seems that sponsor logos will pop nicely on that background 👍
Great commercial 😀 But good to see some proper windsurfing 👌
Easy to promote the things you enjoy. Waves, wind and good gear 😎

Love the sails! Are you planning to go to Greece at all this year?
Nice video again Nico. I really enjoyed it and like the new colours. For me NP is the sailbrand. I’ve been using them since I started windsurfing. Love them. By the way, what music dit you use in this video?

Brilliant entertainment, well done!👍
Nice use of an ironing board as a board stand in the storage room.
PUNK IS BACK - your'e absolutely charging Nico!!!
Gear wrecker....Pink/black is very sharp. I did not think I would like it but its real nice.

I want that board!!
The new pink colour scheme is cool. However, my all time favourite is still the yellow / orange back from the Evo 8 series

Bruno !!!!!!!
What is the name of the flat water spot where the slalom gear was tested?
I need this board 🤤
Better get praticing on the slalom gear at the harbour wall!!!!!
NeilPryde/JP stuff: “C’est bon!” 😂👍
Yes, pink is amazing, i voted for Pink 🎉😂
I think its time for a comeback of the pink wetsuit.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
🔥
How do you travel without your gear getting destroyed/broken?
Pink is Fun ! al my NP sails are pink
Loving that design, tho style is good, a great performing board is what counts ... but it doesn't hurt to have style too
🔥🔥
