we found quite interesting the sushi in Japan is more the classic sashimi on rice where in other countries has so many variety like dragon roll, spider roll etc but sushi in Japan is super fresh and super good! ^^
Yes I agree! I definitely prefer the ones that have more fish and less of the ones that have all that sauce and stuff heh

Shinjuku is a fun neighborhood to eat at. That's a beautiful Udon plate! Good call on getting the egg. Yay to second lunch! Dipping ramen is my (Maria) favorite.

We ticked off Fūunji ramen and Cha No Ikedaya last year. Omg we were so speechless when trying Fuunji for the first time! Hands down the best ramen! We tried both tsukemen and the usual ramen in soup, we prefer the tsukemen 🤤🤤
We admire you doing this ramen review especially at Fuunji because it’s really hard for us to film as we felt uneasy with people watching behind you while they’re waiting in line haha

love dipping ramen, tsukemen right? usually the noodles for dipping ramen are so chewy and al dente and the broth is so so rich, ugh so hungry now haha thanks for sharing your Japan adventures. Tokyo has so much good food!

The tuna markets in Japan are crazy... fun fact is that they import tuna from Spain for their high quality.

I see you use the Rode SmartLav. How do you like it? I might buy one next week. I use the Rode wireless go, which has a built-in mic in the transmitter. But it can be inconvenient cause it's clunky, so I was looking into the one you have.
The smartLav only works with phones unfortunately, so when I plug it into my camera it doesn't work 😞 But if you have the Rode Wireless Go, you can buy a lav to go with it and then it's super super convenient! I saw Nick and Helmi have that when I met up with them and it's been on my wishlist ever since!
I was just gonna ask if you use more than one camera, but I read the description and answered my own question lol. I started incorporating a second camera that i point straight at the food. It can be extremely tedious but I like to show closeups for a better experience.
Hahah I use more than one depending on my mood/the filming situation. Sometimes it calls for it, other times it doesn't I feel, but of course those are usually the times where I'm just being hella lazy LOL
