the whole behind the scenes from unpacking, setting up, breaking down and packing the trucks would be an interesting watch. i would particularly like to see them putting the team buildings/ hospitality suites/ headquarters/ whatever they're called, up and then taking them back down.
As a Truck enthusiast, this is awesome! Thank you. It is interesting to see the variaty of models chosen by the teams. Mercedes Benz obviously pick the astonishing Actros, brand new model, with chromed wheels, side skirts, just marvelous, like McLaren, who also goes for the MB Actros. Red Bull and Alpha Tauri uses the Renault T, but the Alpha Tauri trucks are more complete and beautifull. DAF should talk to Red Bull to replace those outdated Ts for the new XG. Alpine obviously uses Renault Trucks, but the brand new T Evolution, and it looks amazing with that dark color, chromed wheels and side skirts. Funny to see Ferrari still using the same Iveco Stralis (maybe it is the same truck) from the Schumacher era (just joking) which is a classic partnership, but the Haas team choice is an update, using the Iveco Hi-way but Alpha Romeo is the one with the best Iveco, the marvelous S-Way (Most beautiful truck in this video). Williams choice is Scania, plain white NG Scanias is always a safe choice, same as Aston Martin and DHL using Volvo, and that brand new Green Volvo FH is just beautiful.
@@Zoldergamer McLaren used Volvo during the time that Mercedes wasn't their engine supplier. From 2015 to 2020, McLaren used Honda, then Renault engines, and as such, probably wanted to distance themselves from Mercedes, hence using Volvos. Now that McLaren and Mercedes are friendly again, they use Mercedes trucks.
@@MHMarques McLaren's old Volvo's are still on the road just doing general haulage now. Also Aston martins Volvo is actually the older FH4. Volvo are now on the FH5 which uses the same cab but things like the headlights, grill and indicator position have changed 😅

It's crazy to think everything has to be packed and unpacked. They must be super efficient at it since they've been doing this hundreds of times already.
Typisch Nederlanders weer.
Am I the only one imagining that these trucks will all suddenly transform into Transformer Robots with their team livery. These trucks are just so cool to watch. 😊
Somebody enlighten me, how do they get the semi trucks to each destination every Gran Prix? Unless they charter a plane big enough to fit a few of them inside at a time.
Formula One freight moves by land, air and sea. In addition to the kits transported from circuit to circuit, about 120 ocean containers circulate in the background moving less urgent equipment, such furniture or catering items, to race sites. The set transported by air or road has to be at the track eight to 10 days ahead of the race, depending on equipment and schedule. In addition, five to six duplicate kits per team are shipped via ocean freight and stored in various locations on each continent.

Is it cheaper and faster to just spend their fortune on purchasing critical components and have a warehouse on each location to store it so they don't have to pack that much on each race.
No because there are so many different races each year and some races could get taken off the calendar in the future, but if your base was in Europe some teams have smaller storage facilities in America for the races there and vice versa to save money
So items that are always the same every year they are so expensive and need continuous maintaining so they would cost a lot more to have a lot of them around
