"What you do for living?"
"Well, I drive for McLaren F1 team"
Bahahahaa nice
Lol yes!
well said
Lmao
ahahahahhahaa but the freight is no less important than anything!
You guys, Mclaren's social media managers, are understanding so good what the audience want from an F1 channel. Backstage content.. No music.. Love every single video
Iván Martín Jiménez so true. They’re so far above the usual fare of “dramatic” music and epilepsy inducing rapid cuts.
On the nose
Well said.
@murcroadster,
MotoGP should take notes 📝
McLaren is definitely one of the tops F1 teams on social media 👍🏻
T BZ mclaren is one of the tops f1 teams. Fact. With williams and ferrari, they are the essence of f1. All teams have bad moments. But theyre coming back. And i say this as an italian ferrari fan.
@@silviodemimmis2108 in a couple years they'll overtake red bulls position if they keep going with this motive. Williams however.....
Up there with Mercs
AceRay 24 mercedes is having a lucky cicle, but its not comparable to these historic teams
@@silviodemimmis2108 it is comparable ,mercedes just didn't have the time to become a historic team.
Those truck drivers must be very proud of what they do.
Rishi Shankar R The entire team is proud of what they do I think, I would be if they can disassemble a whole garage+team trailer ( more team building!) and reassemble it all within 1/2 weeks. 😁
@@Froot99 *INTIRE*
I can confirm that the truck seen in the video, its very comfortable to drive even at longer distance (I've driven one of those). of course naturally when got 2 drivers, you get tired less likely when got someone to talk with.
Cynderfan35 if it weren’t for the fact I’ve got a permanent job, I’d love to give it a go myself, but it’s only seasonal work....., yep I’m a Hgv driver
@@Cynderfan35 when you got 2 driveres you got tired less?? Lol have you try to drive a long distance job with 2 drivers??
I can watch something like this all day everyday.
Me too
We want more of this
On the nose
The trucks clean af still they wash it to make it more clean af... Love that vid keep it up guyzzz
They washed in the baking heat
People talk about how adding more races to the calendar will worn out the drivers (specially back to back weekends) but imagine what would do to this guys. Amazing display of logistics.
George ,,, plus setting up and packing up
16-17 hours driving isnt an easy job, at all
Would mean more staff so more costs however more races means f1 will pay the teams more and more opportunities to make money
@George actually there's a great video (forget the name) about the logistics of Formula 1 transport. They literally work 6 days a week during the entire season to transport and set up and break down. It take 3 days to set up everything for a race. Don't forget about all the logistics for when everything needs to be flown halfway across the world. The gist of the video shows that it takes the entire two weeks to get everything from one place to another and set up. So when there's only week long breaks it's a logistical nightmare.
@@xsandpathx F1 is struggling to stay alive at the moment they need to make some serious changes to increase viewership again. I doubt throwing millions and millions of dollars at adding more races is going to solve the problem
Vart Dader
Made respect for all the f1 Lorry driver
great that Mclaren showed this becaus you normally don’t think about how stuff gets from point A to B
Think we all know it didnt happen by magic....
Monolucas well depends on who you ask...
some people still actuallly think that chocolate milk comes from brown cows
Have you seen the Wendover video on F1 logistics? It’s crazy.
This is amazing! no nasty background songs just pure calmness thanks McLaren
Yeah, McLaren does a wonderful job with their videos. Always calm.
There ppl r so underappreciated, wish I could do sth
What? That crew is receiving some big money and get to travel with the team
@@hugocorreia7519 I think they mean underappreciated by the fans, obviously they are very appreciated by the teams since they are a key part, but I think fans kind of forget they exist
@@nordvestgaming1238 ye, but there's no point in watch their job. People watch by the racing, but watching the backstage is cool to.
What's the pay for a mechanic?
@@peterpiper8309 For the trucks or the F1 cars?
This truck probably has better aerodynamics than Williams.
McLaren Volvo in 2020 confirmed
My thoughts exactly, came to the comments looking for this!
The engines would be more reliable 👀 😬
Still faster than Williams
Funnily enough Volvo trucks owns Renault Trucks
@@jackscully8570 Not only Renault Trucks Mack Trucks too owned by Volvo AB 👍
Oh wow Haas is already there first atleast their trucks beat someone
I was looking for this comment :D
Well, yeah. Didn't you hear the guy at the beginning talking about working around the guests? Who in the world was hanging out in the Haas motorhome? They probably starting breaking it down 10 minutes after the race ended. LOL
@@roxannelyson7715 hahaha
Grosjean is not driving the trucks that's why ...
Theycallmespiff lol 😂
I was waiting for a video like that!
Great video! As a truck driver, here, in Virginia (USA), it is fascinating to see trucks and logistics in other countries! Thanks for sharing!
I’m always amazed logistically what an amazing job these f1 teams do day in day out for 21 races a season!
Everything is so precise, packed so methodically, down to each tool.
I like McLaren. I like Volvo. I like this.
SAME
McLaren-Renault Volvo Racing
I still love this no music editing. Makes much more personal or relatable, if you will.
That truck arrived cleaner than any truck I've ever seen here in the States. And then they wash it. I love how McLaren operates.
they probably cleaned the truck for the video, cuz Volvo mustve said in the contract they do not want their trucks dirty and neither does McLaren
tbf every lorry driver cleans their lorry after each journey.
@@person9815 No
@@person9815 In which universe..?
BrzSamMnogo MnogoSamBrz nothing to do with Volvo, appearance is everything. Only have to visit McLarens factory to see the high standard of cleanliness. They operate a clear desk policy as well. So it’s across the board
That Volvo truck. What a beauty. =))
Thank you for the Vid McLaren :)
As a trucker, my trailers were valued at around a quarter to half a mill CAD, I could not imagine the pressure of hauling 2 F1 cars with very obvious branding on the unit. I would be a wreck.
@zerosum The insurance works by hoping you never have to use insurance
@zerosum I really have no idea. It must be good otherwise they would have a blank truck and trailer to hide themselves in public. I was expecting an escort vehicle for the cars at least.
Renault : *Having Flashback*
They'd most likely not carry both on the same truck. Be kinda stupid if they did and had an accident
@@Trihawk7 3:23
Impressive to see how much goes on behind the scenes to make these races happen! I respect those guys so much because I know how hard a work-environment like this can be...
This should be on euro truck simulator 2
It is. Now its just a matter of anyone make the skin
@@miguelcardoso1903 I would definitely repaint my precious double-coloured volvo. The silver/orange looks fantastic!
The truck drivers must be proud by saying "I drive for McLaren" and not lie
The relax side of F1, driving a team truck from one place to another. Although this is the last european race, we have to say goodbye to the trucks for now. Great job guys!
I like these videos that focus more on the crew than just the driver. Please keep making more videos centered around the unsung heroes of the sport!
I was dreaming to see smth like this, the most valuable work and the most important people behind the scenes. It's just incredible! Thank you so much Mclaren!
Love seeing behind the scenes like this, the logistics, the coordinating, the Supervisors with each of their own roles. More videos like this please
The washing of truck is better than that of my car😜
Of course it is, they are gettind paid to use volvo's trucks and i'm pretty sure they are obligated by contract to keep it clean all the time.
Next years back to backs. O man, these guys deserve so much credit
Awesome to see some of the heroes behind the teams. Thank you Mclaren for showing this and give those awesome people some time to shine.
And without all these humble people behind the scenes (truck drivers, assembly and disassembly crews, logistics personnell, etc etc.) we wouldnt get to see races at all.
Thank you all for your continued hard work!
unsung heroes right there
by the way, does it happen that trucks from different teams drive together in a giant convoy?
Usually, they do. I remember back in 2013 seeing a convoy Williams, Lotus, Red Bull and Toro Rosso trucks one by one when I stopped for a rest. Think it was after the Hungarian Grand Prix.
@@timobolka1 I'd love to see that on the road one day!
Brilliant content, love seeing stuff like this.
Less than 24 hours between the car finishing the race to it being transported to the next one, that's quite incredible.
Very simple video but a very appreciated one tbh! Always nice to see what happens behind the scenes and seeing the people behind the scenes!
This is how social media should be done! Feel like you are there, with the boys and girls doing all the work, who you usually do not get to see...during build-off, transfer and build-up. Music would only distract from the video content and the experience of being there. I like how McLaren is presented as one big team, and not just two drivers. If Ryan (my favourite F1 truck driver ;) messes up there might be no McLaren F1 cars at Monza. I do not think McLaren have some spare cars ready that they can fly in on short notice.
I was lucky enough by McLaren to be up close and watch them in Monaco 2018.
It was 25% completed when I left for the night. The next morning bagel in hand they had the whole pit garage built.
Genuinely incredible!!!!!
This vids are perfect. That people must be proud of the job they do. No one thinks in that and they are the first flat of an enormous building. Congrats mclaren, wish to see you soon on the podium
Great to see a lad from Northern Ireland there.. bet he's a class mechanic too! They're gifted up there. 👍
This is more interesting than some of the races!!
The sights they see are amazing while driving from destination to destination. Thanks for sharing some of it, and the insight about how all the things in the background come about - that never really gets talked about.
Fantastic to see the guys behind the scenes featured. They work the hardest, and deserve to be praised!
I love this behind the scenes! These guys deserve more recognition and applause! 👏
Amazing work these people do before and after the races. Love watching these videos. My hats off to all the people who work to make things look flawless during a race weekend. 👏
That volvo looks amazing.
Thank you for this, team.
Wonderful feeling to watch behind the scenes. 🤗
We need more of this behind the scenes stuff. Awesome! Hopefully a top 3 finish is coming yer way soon!
Amazing job guys! Incredible to see what goes on behind the scenes to make it all happen.
Beautiful, wow I love my McLaren of England.
Thank you
Pride in the products. Pride in what they do, and attention to detail. Awesome video and well done those men/women who make it all happen so seamlessly.
I would love a podium place this season, what you guys have achieved this year is absolutely amazing , especially compared to last year. I feel like a podium would cap it off perfectly.
Love these videos
Thank you for sharing videos like these. We need more videos showing the true people who carry the Teams around.
Thanks for the beautiful video. These guys deserve this credit as much as others whom makes everything in motorsports happen.
Amo este tipo de vídeos. Gracias Volvo, gracias Maclaren.
Really amazing how much work goes on behind the scenes. Love seeing videos like this.
Fantastic job to have 👍🏴
really cool vibes from the video :) love to see more of that background work on your videos!
Is it me or Carlos Signs a Carlos Science meme of Carlos Sainz
It's you...
Salute to the true heroes who do all the logistical, assembly of the commune etc you are truly the backbone of the racing team.
This is art.
Me encanta este tipo de videos y ver todo lo que hay detras de un equipo. Los camioneros de McLaren son unos privilegiados.
McLaren is doing a great job with these videos. Keep it up. We love seeing into your world.
Great insight to the work done by these guys. They appear to be on the move as soon as a race finishes. Kudos to them for getting the trucks packed up ready for the next one so quickly. Love watching this type of video.
I love how there's no obnoxious music and crazy edits under everything, this was a pleasant video
Thank you McLaren for the video. Please keep posting interesting stuff like this from "behind the scenes" more often. These people operating the lorry and in charge of the logistics deserve more credit and recognition for their work. Bravo, guys. Good luck for the weekend and remaining eight races. Thank you for inviting Fernando Alonso to the paddock for Monza. Wish he could get back to F1. All the best to Norris and Sainz.
Love these kinds of videos from the teams!
These guys at McLaren, you can clearly tell how passionate they're for what they're doing. What a fantastic content, please keep it coming!
Great work! I wish I could work in this logistics team... Amazing people! Keep it up, McLaren 🏁
It’s awesome seeing what it takes for the F1 teams to get ready for their races! Keep up the great work.
*_this is the type of content i like to see._*
Please make more of these stuff. Love the insight apart from racing and drivers.
I love this long trips around Europe
Awesome content team, keep it up! Will be cheering for you this weekend, as always!
when people that have no idea talk about the "glamorous life of F1"
The work and logistics involved are CRAZY!!! and these guys are amazing!!

Loving the content so much! ♥️
j'adore regarder cette vidéo , sur les camions McLAREN vraiment super ,les camions sont magnifiques , comme tout le team ,aller les boys
Good job Mclaren the best content on the entire F1 grid! Keep up the good work
Awesome video! Post more of the backstage!
Everything in just one truck. Amazing.
Mclaren have the best youtube channel..
These vids are awesome!
Double headers are already hectic, and now it's triple. These guys are the unsung heroes of Formula 1
I am a truck driver myself, but this really looks like a dream job! really top video!!
Really enjoyed that :)
Muy buen video de la trabajadores anónimos de la F1. Mis respeto hacia ellos.
Must admit I've never really thought about the journey from one track to the next, so this was nice to see and very interesting. Thanks
Good content this. Hats off to the truckies and mechanics.
What a cool insight into something that is probably overlooked, just makes you appreciate the mammoth task of dismantling the setup and moving it to another race meet, hopefully see it in its glory some day. Come on Lando!!
These guys are unsung heroes in the sport!
That truck is clean in so many ways
I love how McLaren team work very hard. I can see their Passion. Thank you team
Love McLaren’s media. Well done guys.
Congratulations. Best wishes from Argentina!!!
Logistics is a massive part of F1. So much goes on behind the curtain, all we see is the end product. Keep it up guys
Interesting video, thumbs up to all the members of your team :) Good luck for this week-end and for the rest of the season, can't wait to see you fighting again for podiums and victories, like before 2014 :)
The unsung heroes, please make more about them!
