It took me literally 1 minute to find this camping spot: @3:00 barn with wood panels (Austria style) + continues noise of cars -> probably close to a highway. @6:38 A typical beige Austrian building @8:23 reflection of the typical Austrian building @8:49 You see both the reflection of the building and on the left side (behind the camper) the barn again! So we know even the positioning of the buildings. So this camping must be close to the Red Bull Ring! There's a highway next to the circuit and hundreds of campings! So which one is this? The drivers want some rest and security. So the camping will be close to the circuit, but also not too close to all the fan zones. With this info you can easily find the camping! :)
Danny and Charles singing around the campfire until 2am, Lewis' dog barking at any sound coming from the dark. George was up early reporting them to the ranger for having fires and dogs in the campgrounds. No one noticed Logan was missing for 3 hours after going to find some firewood.

Near the old UK Silverstone circuit entrance, in the 'good old days when F1 drivers used to also drive in Saloon car and Sports Car races, after the races were over - you could go into a roadside Public House and find Jackie Stewart, Graham Hill and Jimmy Clark having a friendly drink together !!!
This is very common in NASCAR, as well. The motorhomes are usually inside the track, or just outside of it in a secure lot. Every track has a designated area, though.
Driver motorhomes have been standard in American racing (indycar, nascar, etc) for decades. Most tracks have a Driver RV only lot. Funny that luxury trailors and RVs are common in The States. That's what comes with wider roads, open spaces, and big personal vehicles that can tow them.
Love seeing the mobile homes and offices wish we got more content like that. Especially like seeing the cool ways everything collapses and fits together for travel

I was just watching the grand tour episode where those three took a motor home across the states with their comfort modifications, how far these caravans have come!
We on the states call these 5th wheels and the class A we call motorhomes. Prevost motorhomes cost they much and more. This is a nice 5th wheel. To the race drivers, be safe on the track

I drove past the motorhome yesterday. I thought if this was for a driver. But it's not really far from the race track or from a campsite for fans. It would be interesting which driver it is for.
My Grandfather would LOVE the RV's of today, their idea help create it!! He owned a Lumber Mill and he also owned a RAILWAY CAR converted into an apartment with a boardroom!! Lmao. He would call the train company to schedule his travels threw Northern Canada. Can you imagine a RAILWAY car is the OG RV!! LMAO 🤙😎
When I retired, I moved into a 40 foot Monaco dynasty to live full-time. It is an actual motorhome rather than a trailer being towed from a truck. And I love being able to follow the weather all over the United States and stay the hell out of cities. In the US, we call those trailers fifth wheels.

Thank you for pointing out that these are not motor homes, as evidenced by the lack of a motor. They are fifth wheel campers. I don't know how popular they are outside of the US but they are very popular here. in the US The brand you show the brand for can be bought off the lot less than twenty miles from my house. My neighbor has a 55ft model parked in their driveway right now.
A motorhome is self-propelled. All the rigs shown are trailers. The first one is custom but all the rest appear to be standard model U.S. Fifth Wheels.

Always wondered why more drivers didn't stay at the track in their motorhomes when they all have done in lower tiers and karting for years. Just might not be their own one anymore, but a rented one.
Are these all solar powered with massive inverters or plugged in, given the amount of systems on board? Do the drivers get to leave their stuff on board as it’s transported to the next track!
Europe has driving hours regulations. 9 hours in a day, can be extended to 10 hours twice a week. 56 hours in a week, 90 hours in any 2 consecutive weeks. Every 4.5 hours you must have at least 45 minutes of breaks, can be split up into 2 breaks. They will have tachographs and there are severe penalties for not having a working tachograph and for falsifying data etc.
You need to stop vilifying the fans! We're not evil, we actually keep it all going, so to keep mentioning that the fans are a nuisance is very offensive! You keep looking at it as a business, but it won't run if no one's watching the ads, and attracting sponsors.
Mate when you mob a Driver who is just trying to eat dinner, yes you are a nuisance. They are people too and don't want to be annoyed. Fans keep it going by watching, paying and attending the races, media events and all that, not stalking. Maybe take a look at yourself

I don't have issues with drivers avoiding crowds, I have issues with the way Kim keep mentioning fans as a nuisance all the time! Plus those are the minority, and most fans are respectful, and more importantly paid dearly to be there. Look at the video again, Kim mentions fans as a Mob way too often. It is a sport, and the sport is driven by the fans, not sponsors or media... no fans, no sport. You must be a young fan, but those who have followed the sport for 30 years remember the days when fans and drivers respected and valued each other.
