In my personal opinion, Bloodlines is severely overlooked. It acts as a nice middle chapter between Altair’s story in AC1 and Revelations. If Ubisoft ever did a remake of AC1, I’d want them to include a remake of Bloodlines as a bonus.
@@zeroskaterz92 Don't know about that to be honest, Altair's Chronicles has some story elements that seem off in contrast to the original game's storyline and I don't know how they'd be able to mold both stories into the main story as at the end of the modern day storyline in the first game, we get a cliffhanger which leads right to Assassin's Creed II where it picked off exactly where the first game left off in terms of the modern day storyline, it would seem out of place if we'd get an extra chapter in between the two games, as one guy who had talked about his wishlist on his Assassin's Creed remake fully explained this better than I could.
@@spydersoup8447 Expand the game and its story structure. Remove the dragging story sequence fluff and just focus on important plot points. AC1 was known for its "fast forward memory to a recent one" gimmick. Altair's Chronicles can easily worked without Desmond as the game was mostly set in Animus. By the end, it can easily tied into the beginning of AC1 where everything out of sync and that's where Desmond being introduced. Same thing with Bloodlines. Modern storyline doesn't need to be involved either. ACIII did this with its epilogue despite Desmond already died, we still able to control Connor and witnessed what happened to his village. Extending the prologue with Altair's Chronicles and extending the epilogue with Bloodlines. Doesn't necessarily require Desmond as an active character. It's not the first time they're able to separate modern storyline with the animus portion of its content.
That’s actually incorrect. Desmond is the one experiencing the memories of Altair in Bloodlines. At the beginning of the game, the animus system welcomes you by saying, “Hello Subject 17,” which is Desmond.
Seeing those old Gameloft mobile phone games warms my hearth. I even remember erasing few pictures just to install Assassins Creed III with like 900 kb, to have whole collection alongside other AC games. And for such a small screen and few buttons, they were fun! Also, im playing Rebellion, and i agree with you completely. Its repetitive, has generic turn-combat with few special abilitiea with rpg elements overall. Now im just playing it to collect every character. As for grind, imo its not that terrible as some other games, like the mentioned Fallout Shelter, but it needs time to get to the place where you just unlock new character every few days and dont hve to think about resources or money.
I played quite a good bit of the companion Android game to AC IV: Black Flag. It was connected to your Ubi Account and to your Black Flag save file, and it was basically a way to access an interface similar to the one you have in the captain's quarters inside the Jackdaw where you can send ships to trading routes and also battle other AI controlled ships to lessen the risks involved in some of these routes . It was quite fun and a good way to make some money for your "real" game. As the routes needed real time to pass it was good to have access to this interface at all times, as you could just connect, make some arrangements and earn some resources that you'd be using later when playing the actual game. It was some kind of evolution to a similar system we have in Brotherhood, if I'm not mistaken.
AC Pirates was such a fun and quite original game, a sorta follow up to Black Flag, with a pretty cool story ! Plus the visuals inside the ship were super nice back then
The gameloft AC games are so nostalgic. I didn't even remember the name of those. Also, I played AC Identity when it was released but is so hard to play on mobile. Thanks for this video, otherwise I could have never even remembered these games.😅
I never considered the AC games as „good“ games, but they are my comfort games. Currently I‘m replaying every title on PC, currently I‘m at Unity. I hope that Mirage will release on PC when I reach the end of Valhalla
Update the graphics, clean up the combat, remove or give a reward for the flag collection sidequest, add trophy support for PlayStation (the PS3 version doesn’t have trophies) and remaster Bloodlines for the Maria relationship context, that’s going to be an easy appeal to the fanbase. It’s back to the much missed Desmond and revisiting where the franchise began. People who begin with the Ezio trilogy miss the context the games with Altaïr as the main protagonist povide.
I Remember one game of Assassin's Creed. Basically YOU Have to Build a Tower, And the Pieces are Moving Left and Right. And you Have to Time Right so you can Put It on Place, and EVERY Time, you Miss Part OUT of the Field, It Falls, and the Pieces are Getting Smaller. Till you Do NOT Have Any more Space, for a Piece to put on. And Then The Assassin, that is Climbing the Tower, is Reaching the Top and Falling in a Pool of Water, or Hay Cart. And While you FALL, You Collect Stuff. And then Land. Forgot the name, But I Had It on My Previous Phone.
YES, I remember that game, I played it for quite a while because it was simple and fun when you don't have anything to do or you are on trip. If I remember correctly, it called The Tower Assassin's Creed😊
I remember playing it too. It was pretty simple yet fun. It was made by ketchapp, also owned by ubisoft. The game is called The Tower Assassin's Creed. I haven't seen anyone cover the Assassin's Creed Facebook game despite how deep the lore goes (Auditore family) and the in-game bonuses given in Brotherhood. Was a fun little resource game
The Chronicles trilogy is so underrated, especially China and Russia. Unfortunately, I never got to play the mobile games. They either weren't available for my phone or were already taken down. Except for Rebellion which was kinda fine gameplay-wise but got ridiculously grindy, and you needed a Facebook account to save your progress in the cloud...
I just got the Chronicles Trilogy for my birthday. Seeing how it will go since I haven't really played many side scrolling games and I heard the Xbox achievements are brutal. I'm also told the novel The Secret Crusade includes the stories from the Altair mobile games.
The novel does. It's a detailed account of Altair's life story, from the first AC, to Bloodlines, all the way up until Revelations. What's also interesting is that it also fills in some of the blanks that we don't see in the games, like what happened to from when he burnt Al Mualim's body to the next section where he returns from his conquest against the Mongols.
It's a shame you left out Project Legacy, which was a Facebook game released simultaneously with Brotherhood. While the "gameplay" itself was nothing special, it did allow you to unlock various items in Brotherhood and provided interesting backstories for several characters, especially the multiplayer characters. I feel like this game was the main reason that I always preferred Brotherhood's multiplayer characters over the later games' ones.
there was also a tie-in mobile game for Unity called something like AC Initiates(?) which was basically just Brotherhood's and Revelations's recruit minigame. i vaguely recall that there was some impact on your Unity save (maybe it got you money or smth?)
All of the boss fights are very easy. I completed it in a minute. Except the Witch one, that so damn hard . But after I put some custom made button I did it

It was so, SO long ago. Around 2010 or 2011. But honestly, the graphics were pretty correct for the standards of the smartphones from that era !
I’ve played a few of these games on iPod and iPhone. While I wasn’t the biggest fan of AC: Identity being an Online only Single Player Game structured like an MMO RPG, it was pretty fun and it’s a tragedy it’s no longer available. It was a really fun portable game.
