If you go to BGC Saturday night, it will be another vibe that's more interesting. All the pretty lights are on and more people there having a good time 😊
The largest shopping centre here in the UK is Westfield and its not even the half of the smallest mall in the Philippines, and theres so so so much more stop to see there.
It's the 4th/5th biggest mall in the WORLD, not just in Manila. It's also connected to the biggest Ikea in the world. It has it's own concert arena, entertainment halls, and an amusement park by the bay, it will definitely take you at least an entire day to visit everything in there which is why people love recommending it to foreigners
There are 16 business districts in M.Manila like Aseana, Ayala center, Circuit Makati, Rockwell, Newport city, Greenhills, Ortigas center, Greenfield district, Araneta center, C5 corridor, Eastwood City, Triangle park, BGC, McKinley hill, Arca south, and Alabang. These are the business districts that you can visit while you're in Manila. The old Manila is more on museums, parks, and the oldest Chinatown in the world.
Jst to add: Strictly speaking, "Metro Manila" is no more. It's actually NCR since half a century ago! It was renamed precisely to clearly distinguish Manila from the rest of the region. Also, This video is wrong. Mall of Asia and BGC are not in Manila.
I am pilipino living in california . never been to BGC . I t is really a nice place as shown by your camera . show more about the different places of the philippines and I will follow your vlogging about the philippines tourist spot . okay ! see you soon on your next vlog about tourist around the philippines
Amazing video guys! We just got back from Philippines started our own travel vlogs can say one of the best decisions I’ve made I look back at the content and just the memories we created that’s there forever
There is nothing amazing about a "Travel Video" that can't even name its location correctly. SM Mall of Asia is NOT in Manila. It's in Pasay -- the 3rd oldest city in the NCR region. BGC is NOT in Manila. It's in Taguig - a city on its own 2x the size of Manila, 3X the size of Pasay.
Don't be naive..Manila represents the whole country especially NCR so nothing wrong of using Manila, which is our capital. Taguig, Pasay and Makati are not known to foreigners but Manila.
@@rollycarandang5466 "Manila represents the whole country especially NCR" -- Says who? News agencies NEVER call NCR as Manila. Always, it is METRO Manila. Also, Manila and NCR have definitions based on law. You are not free to use them any way you want. Thanks for your opinion. But you are wrong.
I am not wrong in what i said abt Manila. NCR and Metro Manila are just the same...most of the foreign news reporters and now vloggers use Manila even if they are in other cities like Taguig, Makati and Pasay because other countries dont know these cities except Manila...you need to be lectured abt this matter. I have been a journalist for more than two decades and wrote and published more than 50,000 articles.
@@rollycarandang5466 No they don't. I will concede that Manila (and "Malacanang") can represent government as a form of metonymy. But this is a travel video so it's geography context and thus wrongly used. And foreigners are aware of these differences like Mergim, MomDuty, and AlwaysBeChanging. We have authoritative sources about a country's geography (i.e. PD, RA etc.). News agencies and nameless random vlogs are not among them. Just because something is popular does not mean it is right. The West Edmonton Mall in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada has a standard aized hockey/skating rink, and also an amusement park with roller coasters, all inside the mall😂
Its quite difficult to totally see that mall in a day. It have an outdoor portion and have a multi use arena attached to it that i think seats 50k people
Was the 3000Php for the visa extension each, or for the pair of you? A two month visa extension with the premium fast lane fee is a total 2200Php per person. Which is extremely good value compared with other countries where on the spot visas are available. If you are in BGC, Brotzeit down the bottom end of the High St is worth popping into and up the other end the Straight Up roof terrace on top of the Seda. BGC is best visited at weekends late afternoon/early evening as they close a few of the surrounding streets and there are pop up markets and concerts and it really comes to life.
George and Lucy with Koda their toddler son from England as well lives in BGC. They are vloggers too named The Juicy Vlog. They were in BGC when the pandemic happened.😊
