I’m a guitarist myself and can say these guys are very very good! But the vocalist is what really blows me away - he’s up in Robert Plant’s territory. Very impressed. I’m 69 this year and I really hope groups like this can bring Rock n Roll back to the front row. Great job guys!

I'm an old geezer who grew up listening to bands like Uriah Heep, Yes, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and the maestro of rock and blues Jimi Hendrix. Anyway, enough of me reminiscing. I came across Dirty Honey completely by chance. In one fell swoop, this is definitely a band that I will start to listen to. They really do sound like a band that deserves more recognition.

What no auto tune, no multi tracking or gimmicks on the vocals, no computer generated melodies? Pure and with grunt. I love it.
If this means a return for rock then I’m here for it. The classic rock era was honestly one of the best eras for music, and this song is doing the genre justice.

There's a FB page called 'New Wave of Classic Rock' where only bands from after 2010 can be spoken about..but it has to be 'classic rock' and there are 'young-ish people' in those bands. It's a definite reaction to all the Sheeran and Adele bland derivative brainless shite that we get these days.
@@TheAlfsterino The problem is this is just more derivative shit from Led Zepellin - a la Greta Van Fleet. Rock is never going to be widely popular again until it completely re-invents itself. I don't know what that would sound like but this isn't it.
Rock doesn't need to re-invent itself. It is a perfect 'genre' just like Blues. The provable popularity of 'classic rock' sounding bands amongst all age groups shows it is still enjoyed and viable. Just like Jazz & Folk people still love the genres and they still hold up with or without alterations through the years.

That and it seems she starts from a stop, just before the driveway entrance, as you hear the bike going through the gears. Then when it is coming in by the pump, you hear it shut off, but a quieter version is still running, then you hear the second one shut off. The small details really make everything else seem fake.
Like if you are gonna have only one guitar player, when they play a solo and the rhythm is still going, it's like who is playing that part?
Shit like that makes me not like an otherwise good song/video. Probably low budget video, done by an inexperienced director/producer.
Kinda like the song though, good to hear some rock and roll, even if they are Jackyl like.

Check out Dirty Canvas. We are a classic rock band from Hungary. It would be so amazing if Dirty Honey came to Budapest some day and we could play as a warm-up band for them, making a fantastic "Dirty rock night".
Over the past few years, some local western Pennsylvania bands like "The Hawkeyes" and "The Redlines" have been sounding pretty good. Slightly different styles, but worth checking out. Rock on!

it did in fact kind of "die" there for a while. But only because elitist Radio DJs only wanted to play old stuff and wouldn't give new bands a chance. And also because the feminists tended to prefer rap music over rock. Probably because rap is quieter and has less curse words.
When I was in a rock band......good guitarists, drummers, bassist.....weren't that hard to find! But finding a good vocalist.....that was always the issue. Dirty Honey have a ripper 'screamer'!

This is not that they have to...they just remind us some others bands. To me ,I can ear a lot of acdc's riffs and a bit of led zepplin...people just catches their influences. But again , that's OK. . . And they sound fucking great.
because every band draws influences from predecessors no matter the era. there are only so many chords to play my friend, even the biggest names in rock have "sampled" riffs from the bands that influenced them. there is nothing "new"

Dayum. It does have that 70s Rock sound. If the album sounds like more of that, I'd buy it. I'm still really bothered though by the fact chica left the lights on after she shut down the bike. (That's why I never use the kill switch.) Then comes out and they are off, yet the bike fires right up. I do that on my Harley there's no way it's gonna fire up later.

Freaking loved it! In those few minutes I was transported back to my youth in the 80’s. We played our music loud and rocked out. It was fun and energetic. Really miss those days.

Always heard a lot of Aerosmith in this band , no bad thing! Saw them live in the UK this year and they were excellent.

I'm 48 and really tired of the cookie cutter music coming out now. This band has rejuvenated rock in the best possible way. Love this band.

Cookie cutter music? This is about as derivative as it gets for a band trying really hard to "relive the glory days" of an era that it probably never even witnessed first hand. There's some absolutely great artists out there doing some interesting things, but it's so stereotypically white to have such narrowminded preferences.
Rock music as a whole is a subject that's become ad nauseum to me, because everybody talks about it like its ever so important... the world can survive just fine without it.

I just stumbled across these guys tonight and damn if they aren't straight out of the '80s. This is the kind of thing that was so common back then, the look and sound, but has been forgotten. There's what we remember of an era then there's all the things we don't. This reminds me of all the bands that weren't huge icons like Y&T, Krokus, or so many others that I've actually forgotten since they don't played anywhere. Brand new songs to me and yet take me back to that time more than hearing actual songs from then that we still hear today. Please keep playing, writing, and recording boys. Music needs these sounds around more than ever, and so do I.
When can we expect a full album? You guys are incredible.
