I agree. They've got other great songs, but this one will appeal to many. Slower, a bit bluesy.....but still heavy and pure. Vocals, guitar, bass, drums.....clean - no BS - this is what rock should sound like in 2019. I was able to catch them 2 years ago opening for Sabbath. Great live band.

Finally.... Rival Sons get the recognition that they deserve. 2 Grammy nominations!! Been a big fan since seeing them Cherry Cola's here Toronto about 8 years ago. Not many bands can compete with their live show., just incredible. Congratulations boys!!!

@@harperroy5687 wrong about imitating led zeppelin, those are greta van fleet, at least with rival sons, there is no singular band that you can pinpoint their influence on them, you can hear from deep purple, passing through led zeppeling and reaching the doors.

New fan here....6 songs deep and i havent heard a bad song yet. This group, Dirty Honey, and Highly Suspect. There has been a resurgence of good rock lately...killer vocals...gritty deep rock instrumentals. Shame on the record industry responsible for their lack of success.

Because music like this isn't pushed on the radio any more. It's all manufactured boy and girl bands managed by Simon Cowell.
Here in Italy maybe we're lucky in having a radio which almost plays just rock, metal and progressive, but I know it's just a case as that's the only one in here. All others are focused only on Italian music or pop/rap, so yeah, while driving at work, I only have a safe radio to listen to.

Ron, I've been listening to them since their first record dropped. I tell everybody that misses 70's sounding R&R to check them out. The best R&R band out there right now. The last 20 songs I've learned on guitar was by these guys, with a few Greta Van Fleet songs thrown in. Freakin awesome band!!

Been an avid hardcore fan of these super-talented boys ever since 2009 when their first album popped; every single one of their albums is pure gold + its money well worth invested. Up until I discovered *RS* I truly believed that Rock was _dead_ , but after I heard their first album ( _Before The Fire_ ) - I was hooked, and my faith in Rock was instantly restored!
The great thing about *RS* is that, they are a *TRUE ROCK BAND* with staying power, and they continue to evolve and progress as a band. Throughout the years + their 9 albums, Ive always had a _favorite track_ which I would just _loop_ and listen to continuously for days on end - and on this, their latest album ( _Feral Roots_ ) , *Too Bad* is definitely one of my faves. I've been _looping_ it for the last 4 days so far.
Jay, you give me *chills* when you sing, and sometimes, you could just make me break down + cry with all of the emotion you imbue in certain songs, and _this song_ is just one of them...

My wife and I flew out to LA to see Black Sabbath's The End tour. Rival Sons opened for them. We didn't know who they were, so we checked them out on RUclips before we went to the show. We've been fans since. Greta Van Fleet has great musicians, but the vocalist makes me cringe at times. Maybe they'll get better because they are still very young. To each their own. Nice to see Rock is not dead as some would say.
