I never knew Ian Gallagher turned into a Jedi
How'd you think you have gained in 4k having that 3Ghz 4090, 14900ks and 8400mhz ram? How much can we expect to have with your same setup but "stock-wise" (7200mhz ram) ? Thank you
Can you run need for speed unbound 1440p ultra setting no frame gen unlocked frame rate i'm curious the cpu usage , and power draw of your 14900ks game is a CPU pig my mildly over clocked 14900kf drawing like 230 to 250 watts with 50 to 60 cpu usage
How does the frame time line look when you cap it to 60 fps using vsync, fps limiters, etc? Its smooth enough here unlocked, but if you're a smoothness junkie and want a perfectly locked frame rate, is it possible? It used to have problems with this when the game first came out.
no.
I think some games that use ray tracing allocate that task to the cpu instead of using the RT cores on the gpu so that’s why the performance is so bad and the cpu usage is so high. Iv seen this type of issue with a lot of unreal engine 4 games.
Raytracing always has a substantial CPU cost depending on things like the distance at which rays are traced and the amount of objects in the BVH structure...
yeah Alan Wake 2 was nice seeing as most of the heavy stuff was on the GPU
@@oropher1234 Not all games. A lot of games actually properly utilize the RT cores in a GPU and the CPU utilization is very low.
What about stuttering issues ? Has that been fixed ?I uninstalled the game because of how annoying the stuttering was. I run a 4090 paired with a 13900k and 64gigs of ram
In the top left hand corner, I have a frame time graph which shows stutters. You can use that to see how smooth the game is playing.
Its not fixed. Hopeless
Same specs here. Patch 8 is complete garbage.
@@sirgareth5283 it was never broken, stutter areas are loading ones, same as with previous title.

Still garage optimisation even in 2024.
Hey, should i get 2x32gb 6600Mhz CL32 or 2x24gb 8000 Mhz Cl38, Both are dominator Titanium Ram. with the 14900ks
If your motherboard support 8000mhz take the 8000, if not take the 6600
@@TheNoblePotatoKing i got the z790 dark hero, but some say 8000 is unstable and it wont run
@@anoano007 you can try his guide to reach higher speeds, just dig his old videos...and btw he used z790 apex encore which support up to 8000+ mhz
@@anoano007 Your board will just downclock it to a stable speed if it's not stable. You can always alter your timings. To be honest, the difference between DDR5 6400mhz and 8000mhz is extremely small in games. If the prices are similar, I would still get the 8000mhz.
@@KeepIt1HuniTT even if its 48gb and 64gb?.
Is there a mod for DLAA on this game?
Yes. You can use DLAA tweaks. It works pretty cool.
@@KeepIt1HuniTT Works like garbage. The cutscenes completely disable DLAA and AA altogether so everything looks like a mess.
